Chapter 290 Does Ethan Want a New Dad?
"Sorry, Ethan, for not informing you earlier. It was sudden, and both your mom and I have noticed that you've been behaving differently lately. We're really worried about your health."
'Nonsense, how could I be the same?'
Brian was speechless for a moment. "Alright, let's go inside."
Sarah and Antonio both sighed in relief.
The child psychologist approached them with a friendly smile, gently asking, "Has something been making you feel particularly sad or uncomfortable recently, little one?"
"Sitting here makes me uncomfortable."
"How about telling me about any dreams you've had recently?"
"Dreams are all fake. I don't need to remember those things."
"How about we draw a picture? Draw the house you imagine."
"I have pictures. Just look at them directly."

The doctor asked more than ten questions in a row, but Brian ruthlessly blocked them all.
Finally, the doctor opened the door and rubbed his forehead. "Mr. Valencia, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your son. I think you might be worrying too much."

"Could it be that we were worrying for no reason?" Antonio looked at the test results in his hands. The perfect score undeniably proved that the child had no issues.
"As long as he's alright." Sarah relaxed a bit.
Ethan was, after all, Brian's twin. Even though their personalities were different from a young age, they still had similarities. It should be normal for their temperaments to become more alike, right?
Sarah didn't voice her doubts in her heart. Just then, Brian walked out of the bathroom. "Mommy, can we go home now?"
"Alright, let's go back." Sarah held Brian's hand and got into the car.
Antonio had initially hoped to hold Ethan's hand too. However, when he reached out, Ethan swiftly tucked his other hand into his pocket without so much as a glance.
The three of them returned home in silence, only to find Alex waiting for them at the front door.
"If I recall correctly, this is already the fourth time you've come this week."
Antonio looked at him with a gloomy expression. There was no need to visit four times a week, even if it was for the child's sake.
He knew there would be trouble as soon as Alex returned to the country!
Helplessly, Alex didn't want things to be this way either!
But as Brian's employee, he had a lot of things to report to him regularly, not to mention unexpected situations. For example, today, there was a document that required Brian's signature. Otherwise, he wouldn't want to risk coming here at a specific time and cause any trouble.
With a calm smile, Alex replied, "Mr. Valencia, when I was abroad, I was always with the children. Since my time back in the country is limited this time, I thought I could spend more time playing with them. I hope you don't mind."
"I don't mind, but unfortunately, we didn't prepare a dinner portion for you. I apologize," Antonio barely squeezed out these words through his teeth.
Sarah discreetly tugged on Antonio's clothes and said, "Alex, go and play with the children. They're all in the children's room."
Alex nodded with a smile and followed Brian into the room.
"They really adore him." Sarah shook her head helplessly. "Alex used to meet the children every day, and they cling to him."
"They cling to him..." Antonio immediately grasped the key point.
He thought of a possibility.
No wonder Ethan's attitude had been completely different these past few days. It must be because Alex showed up. Ethan already disliked interacting with him, and now that he liked Alex even more, he definitely wouldn't want to deal with him.
Moreover, every time Alex came, he would spend a long time whispering in the study with Ethan as if discussing something very important. If he was there to see the children, then why only focus on Ethan?
Would Ethan want to replace him as his dad if things continued this way?
