Chapter 876 Don't You Feel Guilty?
Sarah had just finished applying the medicine and was earnestly showing the kids that she wasn't seriously injured. Suddenly, she noticed his dazed expression and couldn't help but ask, "Francis, is there something on your mind?"
The gloom in Francis's eyes vanished instantly. "No, nothing."
He smiled slightly, "Sarah, since you're okay, I'm going to bed. I have a meeting at the office early tomorrow."
Sarah nodded, "Alright, goodnight."
Francis returned to his room and the first thing he did was take out his phone and find Guadalupe's number.
Today's incident was too strange. He had to test Guadalupe to see if he was really crazy enough to harm Sarah, a pregnant woman!
The phone rang only twice before it was answered, and Guadalupe's cold voice came through, "You called me first. Miss me?"
Francis closed his eyes for a moment, suppressing his emotions, "Can't I just check on you?"
Guadalupe was silent for a moment.
This kind of silence sometimes made people feel a chill from the bottom of their hearts, as if their true thoughts were being seen through, leaving them nowhere to hide.
After about ten seconds, Guadalupe spoke slowly, "What do you want to check on?"
"Were you busy today?" Francis actually wanted to ask directly if he had sent someone to harass Sarah!
But such a question to a devil-like Guadalupe was like throwing a bomb into his body, ready to explode at any moment.
Guadalupe sneered, "I didn't know you cared so much about my daily life."
Even from a distance, it seemed possible to see Guadalupe's expression on the other end, making his probing intentions too obvious.
"Not as much as you." Francis thought he had found a loophole and seized the opportunity, "Haven't you always had bodyguards watching my every move? I should care about you too."
Danger seeped from Guadalupe's eyes like poison, his voice as sharp as a blade, "Do you want to care about me, or Sarah? Hmm?"
He had just received a report from his subordinates that they hadn't made a move yet, but Sarah had already been robbed and slightly injured.
And just ten minutes after the call ended, Francis called. So eager to seek justice for that damn Sarah!
To Francis, this sounded like an admission, and his tone involuntarily carried anger, "So you did it?"
"So what if I did?"
"Guadalupe!" Francis clenched his fist, "Do you even know she's pregnant? Don't you feel any guilt?"
'Guadalupe is truly a madman!' Francis cursed in his head.
"Guilt?" Guadalupe's eerie voice seemed to float from hell, carrying a bone-chilling coldness, "And what about someone as ungrateful as you? Hmm?"
Francis was so angry he ground his teeth, but didn't know how to retort.
He had explained more than once that Sarah was just Antonio's wife! They even had several kids together, how could he have any thoughts about her? It was ridiculous!
But Guadalupe didn't see it that way.
He was a natural-born obsessive, with a possessiveness and self-righteousness that was deadly. He never cared what others thought, only what he thought! "Francis, you've been with me for so long, why can't you ever learn? Hmm?"
Francis took a deep breath, "I really have nothing to do with Sarah. Please stop."
Guadalupe maintained his controlling demeanor, his cold voice chilling to the bone, "Whether there's a relationship or not isn't up to you. Any woman or man who covets you, I won't spare a single one!"
With that, he hung up.
The veins on Francis's forehead throbbed, and his heart filled with rage!
If things continued like this, who knew what kind of things this pervert Guadalupe would do?
Antonio, Ethan, Harper, and Ryan! Who else wouldn't he dare touch?
The only way now was to quickly escape his control! Only by completely leaving Guadalupe could all his loved ones be safe!
Thinking of this, Francis felt he couldn't wait another moment. He picked up his phone and called Roy, "The big development project is moving up. You need to get everything ready as soon as possible to ensure nothing goes wrong!"
Roy was obviously taken aback, "Mr. Valencia, why the rush?"
"What? Is there a problem?"
"No!"
The arrangements were almost done anyway, it was just a matter of implementing them earlier.
Francis finally felt a bit relieved, "Good. I'll officially announce it at the office tomorrow. Just handle your tasks and don't worry about anything else."
After hanging up, he looked at the dark night outside, his heart filled with uncontrollable waves.
He hoped everything would go smoothly this time.
As long as the project went well, he could finally leave Guadalupe completely and escape this pervert's control!
Antonio and Sarah didn't think much of it. Within two days, they received a call from the police saying the robber was a repeat offender who committed random crimes and was naturally detained this time.
Sarah sighed in relief, "That's good. I was worried it was some kind of social revenge."
Antonio kissed her, "Don't be so reckless next time."
"Got it." Sarah playfully blinked and then turned to shout up the stairs, "Are you guys ready? Hurry up, we're about to leave!"
Today was Ryan's birthday. They had booked an amusement park and planned to take the whole family out for a fun day.
The kids came running down the stairs, excited beyond measure. "We're ready, Mommy!"
"Let's go already!"
With so many kids to take care of, Jasmine and Elara were coming along too.
When Ryan came downstairs, he naturally walked over to Lisa, took her hand, and smiled up at her.
Seeing this, Sarah raised an eyebrow, "Elara, I never knew Ryan was so clingy. He must really like you."
Lisa's mask covered most of her face, leaving only her single-lidded eyes and rough skin on her forehead visible.
She nervously and shyly took a half step back, lowering her head. "Mrs. Valencia, you're joking. Ryan likes you the most."
Sarah smiled but said nothing.
Soon, Francis also came out of his room and immediately noticed Ryan and Elara's closeness. He looked away after a moment, "If everyone's ready, let's go."
"Yay!"
The amusement park was in the city center, so it wasn't far. The two cars arrived one after the other in just about twenty minutes.
After getting out, Ethan and Harper ran ahead, and Brian followed to ensure their safety.
Sarah gave a reminder and then turned to Ryan, "Ryan, come walk with me?"
Unexpectedly, Ryan shook his head without hesitation.
"No, Mommy, I'll help Elara." He said this as he moved to help Lisa with the bags, leaving no room for refusal.
