Chapter 120 No One Dares to Take Your Divorce Case

Antonio took one look at the divorce papers in front of him and felt his blood boil.

His eyes were dark and stormy. He grabbed the document, flipped it around, and ripped it to pieces. "Anyone who takes her divorce case won't be able to work in this town again."

This wasn't a warning; it was a promise.

Antonio tossed the shredded paper at the person in front of him. His voice was low, but it sent shivers down their spine. "Get out."

The lawyer felt like her feet were glued to the floor. She couldn't move as she watched the paper bits flutter around her.

She knew exactly who she was dealing with—Antonio, the CEO of Valencia Group, a man who could ruin her career with a single word.

If she had known Antonio was this against divorce, she would've never taken the case!

The lawyer's face went pale, and she bolted from the office, not caring how she looked.

Antonio didn't have time for her. His face was ice-cold, and his eyes were like dark pits of fury.

Sarah had gotten clever and hired a lawyer to talk divorce.

The more Antonio thought about it, the angrier he got. Finally, he grabbed his coat and stormed out.

Meanwhile, Sarah sat by her window, clutching her phone. Her face was serious, and she kept fidgeting with the phone, waiting for news.

She was waiting for the lawyer's feedback.

She knew getting Antonio to sign would be tough, so she hired the best lawyer she could find, hoping for a smooth ride.

Just as she was deep in thought, her phone rang. Sarah answered it in a flash.

Before she could say anything, the lawyer's shaky voice spilled out everything in one breath and then hung up, not giving Sarah a chance to respond.

Sarah stared at her phone, stunned.

The lawyer had bailed on her case!

'Damn it, Antonio must've pulled something!' she thought.

Sarah's face twisted in anger and frustration.

She gripped her phone tight, her eyes darkening, and muttered, "Antonio, you bastard!"

Just as she cursed his name, she heard footsteps in the hallway.

The door swung open, and Sarah looked up to see Antonio walk in, looking pissed.

Harper, who had been playing in the corner, saw Antonio come back and noticed Sarah's bad mood. Her heart started racing, her little face showing fear and worry.

'Is Antonio mad again?' she wondered.

Sarah's face was no better. Were they about to fight again?

Antonio didn't even notice Harper. His intense gaze was locked on Sarah by the window. Seeing her angry face, he knew she had heard from the lawyer.

No need for more words.

With a cold, intimidating presence, he walked up to Sarah. "You might as well give up. No one's gonna take your divorce case."

Sarah was instantly enraged by Antonio's arrogance, her face turning even darker.

Antonio was being a total jerk!

Her hatred for Antonio was off the charts. She didn't want to see his face, let alone talk to him.

She shot him a cold sneer. "I'll find a way!"

With that, Sarah scooped up Harper and headed for the door.

Antonio's brow furrowed instinctively. "Where are you going?"

Sarah, teeth clenched in anger, snapped, "Downstairs to eat!"

Later that evening, back at Michael's place, Ethan's little face was clouded with gloom.

Yesterday, Michael had been sulking alone, thinking about the good old days with Ethan, when suddenly Ethan showed up.

Not only did he come back, but he also brought a storm of anger with him.

Michael saw his furious expression and couldn't help but worry, thinking it was just a flight delay.

But after asking, he found out it was Antonio again.

Now, Ethan sat at the dining table, lost in thought.

Michael saw he was still in a bad mood and not eating. His usually cheerful face was full of concern. "Ethan, I know you're mad, but you gotta eat. Don't starve yourself over that jerk."

Unexpectedly, Ethan slammed the table, like he had made up his mind, and declared, "This time, I'm gonna make bad dad pay even more!"

Michael, remembering the past close calls, quickly tried to calm him down, "Don't make any rash moves. Last time, you almost got caught, and another time you were busted red-handed. Be careful, or he'll catch on!"

The night they got the wrong person was nerve-wracking. The dinner party day was no different. Luckily, Ethan was quick. Otherwise, it would've been a disaster.

But Ethan just snorted. "Bad dad's too dumb to figure it out!"

With that, he stabbed a sausage on his plate and took a big, angry bite, chewing like he was taking out his frustration.

Michael watched him, feeling a bit scared, and couldn't help but swallow.

It seemed Ethan was dead serious this time!

Well, no wonder Ethan was so pissed. Antonio's behavior yesterday was way out of line.

Hopefully, Ethan's plan would go smoothly this time. With that thought, Michael stopped trying to talk him out of it and quietly ate his meal.

The next morning, Antonio had just walked into the office when he saw James coming over, holding a cake box.

Antonio's eyes fell on it, and he frowned slightly.

James, however, approached cheerfully, presenting the cake to Antonio. "Mr. Valencia, someone just sent this cake for you."

Antonio was indifferent, feeling only disdain. Without asking who sent it, he coldly ordered, "Get rid of it."

Watching Antonio walk past him, James, still holding the box, followed after him.

The cake looked pretty good!

It was probably from one of Antonio's admirers. It would be a shame to toss it, so James cautiously asked, "If Mr. Valencia doesn't want it, can I have it?"

Antonio's face remained stern, not responding.

James took it as a yes and grinned. "Thanks, Mr. Valencia!"

The aroma of the cream wafted into James's nose. Unable to wait until he got upstairs, he eagerly started to open the box.

It had been ages since he had dessert. Today, he could finally indulge.

James was full of excitement, licking his lips in anticipation. But the next second, the delicious cake suddenly exploded with a loud thud!
