Chapter 128 Did Sarah Betray Antonio?
James was so freaked out he whipped his head away, too scared to even peek.
But instead of the kids' cries, Philip's angry roar filled the air. "You bastard!"
James spun back around, eyes wide, and saw Antonio, who had dashed over, grabbing the cane and standing between the kids and Philip.
His heart leaped; Antonio was finally here!
Just a bit earlier, Antonio and Sarah had rushed to the emergency center and saw Philip about to whack the kids.
Without a second thought, Antonio had jumped in and blocked Philip's cane, while Sarah scooped the kids into her arms.
Her hands were shaking, and she was scared out of her mind.
If those kids had gotten hit, she didn't know what she would've done.
Those kids were her everything. Anyone who messed with them was asking for trouble!
Ethan clung to Sarah like a lifeline, while Harper buried his face in her chest, still trembling.
They were scared out of their wits, almost getting hit by Philip. Thank God Sarah showed up.
Feeling the kids' fear, Sarah's heart broke. She whispered to them, "Don't worry, it's all good now. Mommy's here, and no one's gonna mess with you."
Philip, fuming because Antonio had grabbed his cane, felt totally disrespected.
He yanked at the cane, shouting, "They hurt Ryan, and you dare stop me?"
Antonio held firm, gripping the cane tight. "It was an accident."
On the way there, James had filled him in.
Sure, he was worried about Ryan, but he wasn't about to blame innocent kids.
But Philip wasn't backing down, his angry eyes darting between Antonio and the kids. "You're just sticking up for Sarah and her brats!"
Philip's face twisted with sarcasm and scorn. "Antonio, Sarah cheated on you and had those kids, and you're still protecting them, letting them hurt Ryan! You might be okay with raising Sarah's kids, but the Valencia family isn't! I demand you divorce Sarah and kick them out now!"
Antonio standing up to him for Sarah? Unbelievable.
If it weren't for some reasons, there was no wayhe letting Antonio take over the Valencia Group!
Philip was livid, the tension between him and Antonio so thick you could cut it with a knife, the air buzzing with anger.
James couldn't stand hearing such nasty words.
Sarah, though, was totally confused by Philip's rant.
She looked up at the furious Philip and asked, "What? Who cheated?"
She'd heard it clear as day; Philip said she cheated on Antonio!
How could that be?
The kids were just as confused, their eyes wide with shock.
Sarah cheated on Antonio?
Antonio's face was dark, his eyes a storm of emotions, his lips pressed into a tight line, silent.
Philip ignored Sarah's question and kept on insulting her, "I never liked you from the start, you shameless woman! You married Antonio but still had feelings for another man. Since you ran off with your lover back then, why come back now? Do you want the Valencia family to raise your illegitimate kids? Let me tell you, I will never accept a shameless woman like you, even if Antonio protects you!"
After ripping into Sarah, Philip pointed at the kids in her arms. "With a mother like Sarah, they won't be any better! Get out of here, and if you dare get close to Ryan again, I'll beat you to death!"
Hearing this, Sarah's face darkened.
She suddenly stood up, shielding the kids behind her, facing Philip head-on.
Philip was intimidating, but Sarah wasn't backing down, her eyes blazing with anger and hatred.
She was done with this crap, gritting her teeth and saying, "Bullshit, it was Antonio who cheated first!"
Antonio had a kid with Lisa back then, and now Philip was twisting it to slander her!
The Valencia family was full of scumbags!
Especially Philip, who was a total bully, not deserving any respect!
Sarah, fed up, glared at Philip and shouted, "Who do you think you are? Threatening and trying to harm my kids? Let me tell you, no one can mess with my kids!"
Hearing this, Philip's ugly old face twisted in rage!
He never expected Sarah to talk back. The way he was being treated caused his blood pressure to spike, , almost making him lose his balance.
