Chapter 808 What's Going on with You Again?
Francis looked at Antonio's familiar face in front of him, and he was extremely shocked.
Hearing Antonio's question, he slowly nodded.
But ever since Antonio was brought back to the Valencia Family, he had treated Antonio as his own brother and never intended to bring up his background.
Unexpectedly, Antonio still found out and even found his real family.
Before returning to Capital City, Francis had looked into the current situation of the Valencia Family.
But he received news that Antonio had died in an explosion six months ago.
Fortunately, there was still a chance.
"So, you really are Antonio. It's been so many years, I don't even know how to react." Francis looked at him with tears in his eyes, feeling both moved and relieved, "Thank goodness, as long as we're both alive, it's the greatest blessing in misfortune!"
Antonio was also deeply moved, reaching out excitedly to grasp Francis's hands. "And what about you, Francis? What happened to you?!"
Hearing this, Francis let out a long sigh. "That car accident didn't take my life, I was lucky enough to be saved by a passerby and taken abroad for treatment. But, like you, I lost my memory after going abroad, so I never came back."
"It wasn't until recently that I fully remembered the past." Francis sighed, his words full of emotion. "I just didn't expect that when I came back, there would be no one left in the Valencia Family."
He gave a bitter smile, glanced at Sarah, and continued, "While investigating your explosion, I found out that Sarah had taken over the Valencia Group. A few days ago, I even saw on the news that the management of the Valencia Group was handed over to your son, Brian. I was worried at the time, afraid that something had happened to Sarah too. But I kept thinking, I'm a man who has died once, I didn't know if Sarah would recognize me, so I didn't dare to approach. Actually, I should have remembered Sarah, but my memory hasn't fully recovered, so..."
Francis didn't finish his sentence, but Sarah understood what he meant.
He didn't remember what Sarah looked like, so he didn't recognize her when they first met at the mall.
She smiled at Francis, "It's okay, Francis, we will always reunite, otherwise, we wouldn't have met twice."
After she said this, both Antonio and Francis smiled.
Antonio was very touched, holding Sarah tightly, full of gratitude.
Grateful that Sarah didn't hold a grudge against him for the past, but stood firmly by his side.
But Antonio was still puzzled, "But after the car accident, Philip, I mean, Grandpa, confirmed your body. How could that be? There shouldn't have been anyone else at the scene because that day, I was supposed to drive to the company myself, and the attackers were only targeting me."
He eventually changed his words and called Philip Grandpa.
Given Francis's current condition, he didn't want to tell him about the issues between him and Philip.
After all, Francis had always respected Philip.
Francis shook his head, also puzzled, "I really don't know, I'm sorry, the accident had a huge impact on me, I can't fully remember what happened then."
Seeing this, Antonio quickly shook his head, "It's okay, it's all in the past, maybe there's some coincidence we don't know about."
After he finished speaking, he glanced at Francis, feeling very distressed.
The accident had more than just a big impact on Francis; it had turned him into a disabled person.
Back then, when he learned that Francis had temporarily taken his place to drive and died on the roadside, Antonio was devastated.
He rushed over like a madman, only to see the tail end of the ambulance.
Philip also arrived quickly, and knowing that Francis had taken Antonio's place, he slapped Antonio hard in the street.
Later, Philip handled Francis's funeral himself and didn't even allow Antonio to mourn Francis.
So Antonio never had the chance to properly say goodbye to Francis's body.
Otherwise, he would have noticed something was wrong back then.
Antonio thought that he should visit Philip in prison and get to the bottom of this to feel at ease.
For now, at least Francis was back, and their family could truly reunite.
This was indeed a pleasant surprise.
Ryan would be very happy, if his biological father was back.
The guilt that had plagued Antonio's heart for so long was now unnecessary, but at least it seemed that Francis held no grudges, and Antonio was grateful.
Antonio smiled, trying to bring up something to cheer Francis up. "By the way, Francis, Ryan has been staying at my house, with me and Sarah's kids. He's very well-behaved and smart. Why don't you come home with us to see him?"
Speaking of Ryan, Francis seemed a bit nervous.
He looked down at his legs, forcing a smile, "No rush, meeting the kids requires some gifts."
Antonio sensed his insecurity, feeling a bit choked up, and said seriously, "Francis, I will find the best specialists to treat your legs, there must be hope!"
"It's okay." Francis shook his head calmly, "I've tried all possible treatments over the years, let's take it slow, I'm not forcing it."
While abroad, he had already been arranged to see the best doctors, but it didn't help.
Over the years, he had come to accept that he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Seeing the atmosphere turn somber, Sarah quickly changed the subject, "Francis, where are you staying now?"
Francis was taken aback and looked up at her. "I just got back a couple of days ago, so I'm staying at a hotel for now."
Antonio immediately chimed in, "You've come back, why stay at a hotel? Come home with us, it's livelier with more people around."
Sarah agreed, "Yes, since you're back, you should meet Ryan right away. He will be very surprised. Francis, come home with us."
Francis seemed to have his reservations, rubbing his hands together, but seeing the expressions on their faces, it seemed like he should move back in.
Unable to refuse their hospitality, he nodded, "Alright, I'll go home with you."
Antonio and Sarah exchanged a relieved smile.
As the three of them left the café, Francis pointed to the side, "My driver brought the car, let's go separately."
"Okay, have your driver follow me."
There was only one parking lot at the hospital, and the cars weren't parked far apart.
Antonio first took him to his car and then returned, with Sarah already sitting in the passenger seat.
She looked at the rearview mirror, seeing the luxury car slowly driving out, and said thoughtfully, "Actually, it seems like Francis had a pretty good life abroad."
