Chapter 616 Benjamin Can't Take It Anymore

They were all adults now. What's wrong with a kiss? He didn't just kiss anyone. It's been several months since he woke up, and Sarah was still the first woman he had kissed—he hadn't even kissed his fiancée Isabella!

Sarah actually wasn't happy and was avoiding him!

The more Benjamin thought about it, the angrier he became. Even though he was unwilling to admit it, deep down, he felt that Sarah was rejecting him.

At this moment, Daniel knocked on the office door, entered from outside, and greeted, "Mr. Harrington."

Benjamin furrowed his brow, his eyes half-closed as he answered, "Yeah?"

Daniel promptly informed him, "I have some data here that we collaborated on with the Valencia family during our time on the mountain for analysis. It needs to be sent to their company. It's better to hand over such important documents in person. I'm here to report to you. I'm ready to go and deliver it now..."

"I'll go myself." Before Daniel could finish his sentence, Benjamin took the lead, and said impatiently, "Give it to me. Hurry up and finish your work; don't waste time on such matters."

Daniel was speechless, bewildered,

It's not really a waste of time! And it's even more time-consuming for the CEO to go in person.

But since Benjamin said he wanted to go, Daniel naturally had no reason to refuse. He respectfully handed over the folder, and respectfully inquired, "Do you need me to drive you?"

"No need." Benjamin glanced at the documents on the table, and dismissed him, "You go ahead and work."

"Alright, Mr. Harrington," Daniel complied and turned to leave the office.

Benjamin got up, put on his suit neatly, picked up the documents on the table, and left the room.

Perfect, he was going to see the Valencia family to see where Sarah could possibly hide!

When he arrived at the Valencia family, the receptionist was startled to see the CEO of Harrington Group in person and quickly called upstairs.

James personally came down to greet him, "Mr. Harrington, what brings you here all of a sudden? It's really embarrassing not to welcome you properly!"

It's so weird that one boss personally visits another company's office! It's hard to tell what he's up to.

Benjamin wanted to catch them off guard. He looked at James with a serious expression.

Sarah was busy!

He came, and yet an assistant came down to greet him!

"I really didn't want to make this trip." Benjamin gazed fiercely, and mentioned, "It's just that this data needs to be handed over to the project manager in person. Where is your project manager?"

Although James didn't have much of an impression of Benjamin himself, there was still a subconscious sense of respect for the familiar face in front of him.

He quickly averted his gaze, and respectfully guided him, "Mr. Harrington, please follow me."

Benjamin, looking somewhat displeased, reluctantly followed James upstairs.

But in reality, his heart was already racing, eager to see Sarah's reaction when she saw him.

In the meeting room, the other secretaries quickly brought a glass of water.

James respectfully said, "Please wait a moment, Mr. Harrington. I'll go call the person in charge."

"Alright," Benjamin agreed and hummed a note through his nose, sitting with a cold face.

He played with the water glass on the table with his long fingers, but his deep and distant gaze was fixed on the door of the meeting room. In a few minutes, he had already imagined countless reactions from Sarah when she saw him.

A subtle smirk formed at the corner of Benjamin's mouth, but before it could fully appear, the door in his line of sight was pushed open from the outside, and Bob's graceful figure walked in.

He raised an eyebrow at Benjamin and said, with a fake smile apologized to him, "Mr. Harrington, sorry for the wait."

Benjamin's whole demeanor froze as if he had been put on pause and then reanimated, but the air pressure around him seemed even lower than before.

Benjamin said, "Was I not clear earlier? I want to interact personally with the project manager."

"Very clear." Bob nodded exaggeratedly, and confidently replied, "Mr. Harrington, I am the project manager."

He never had a good impression of Benjamin, and he did not fear the identity of the Harrington family scion.

Benjamin wanted to take the opportunity to cause trouble for Ms. Miller.

No way!

Bob was Ms. Miller's knight in shining armor!

Sure enough, the next moment, Benjamin, across from him, sneered, "Sarah isn't here yet."

Bob leaned on the desk with both hands and fingers interlaced, his tone neither humble nor overbearing, and even a bit deliberately provocative.

He nonchalantly stated, "Mr. Harrington, perhaps you are unaware that Ms. Miller has fully entrusted the Pine Mountain project to me. From now on, I am the project manager. If Mr. Harrington has any questions, feel free to contact me at any time."

Benjamin's temple twitched, his brows furrowed coldly. He icily retorted, "Why should I hand it over to you?"

Bob shook his head regretfully, and cheekily rebutted, "Maybe it's because of some personal reasons of Ms. Miller! Like not wanting to see certain people from the Harrington Group project team. Oh, I just mentioned it casually, Mr. Harrington. Don't take it to heart."

Although he said so, his expression clearly showed otherwise!

Benjamin's temple vein pulsed, clearly not taking it lightly.

Bob, satisfied with Benjamin's reaction, glanced at him with a sense of accomplishment.

He's getting angry now!

Just then, Bob's phone rang.

He looked at the caller ID, his eyes flickered, and he casually took out his phone, "Sorry, Mr. Harrington, just need to reply to a message."

Then, Bob immersed himself in the screen, still looking at the content above and smiling as if no one else was around, and started a voice message, saying, "I've received Ms. Miller's message. Don't worry, I'll handle it. By the way, what do you and the kids want to eat tonight? I can pick up groceries on my way home from work and continue cooking for you in the evening."

To an unknowing listener, this sounded very misleading!

Benjamin listened to Bob's tender voice, unconsciously tightening his grip on the phone, his eyes filled with icy debris.

Go home! And continue cooking!

This clearly implied that they had done this many times before, they were even living together!

Benjamin had long noticed that Bob had impure intentions towards Sarah, but he hadn't expected that in a short period, he had already moved into Sarah's home.

Benjamin thought, 'Sarah, you're something else!'

Even though they were on the mountain, she still soaked in the hot springs with him. However, in just two days, she was already entangled with Bob and even brought him home directly!

It's simply unbearable!

Benjamin gritted his teeth, took a deep breath, a surge of anger rushing to his head, and abruptly stood up, his cold voice capable of freezing people when he spoke, "Take the project data back and look at it slowly!"

After saying that, he swept out, the door of the meeting room echoing heavily as he closed it behind him.

Bob put down his phone, not even showing any intention of seeing him off.

He sneered at Benjamin, very unfriendly.

He had no intention of telling Ms. Miller about Benjamin's visit to the company today. He could tell that Ms. Miller was very annoyed with him!
