Chapter 408 Looked Down Upon By My Son...
"We won't look, we won't look." Harper was the first to cover her eyes and burst into giggles.
The whole family laughed together; even Brian's face carried a warm smile.
"Alright, enough fooling around."
After a moment, Brian cleared his throat. "I've arranged for a private doctor. He will stay with us tonight in case there are any other injuries. The hot springs are ready too.
"Ethan and Harper, go take a bath first. Ryan, go to your room and change clothes, then join us in the hot springs.
"A nutritionist and a chef will come to prepare dinner tonight, so let's rest before that."
Antonio looked at Brian's orderly appearance, feeling even more gratified. His son really could accomplish anything near perfection.
Although he was still a young child, he could think through many things thoroughly.
While the others were immersed in joy, he already had everything planned ahead, in an organized manner.
Indeed, he was worthy of being his son!
Brian arranged for his siblings to do their own things and tidied up himself.
After enjoying a comfortable bath, he finally relieved himself of the exhaustion.
Today's events were truly perilous, and Brian blamed himself a little. If he had observed more carefully when they got into the car, such incidents wouldn't have occurred.
Luckily, everything turned out fine. Now they just had to catch Victor.
After the family finished their preparations, they didn't retreat to their rooms but spontaneously gathered in the living room. Although each was occupied with their own activities, the warmth of the atmosphere couldn't be hidden.
Soon, Alex sent a message to Brian.
Alex: [Brian, we've found Victor's traces. He was last spotted on the national road, but we arrived a step too late. He has already gone into hiding.]
Brian had already anticipated this result. Victor was a gambler, and despite his unsavory character, he must be smart.
He had long planned his escape route and definitely fled with his belongings when the police raided the Evergreen Chess Club.
"Mommy, what do you want to do?"
Naturally, Brian had no feelings for Victor. Even though Ethan explained his origins, Brian had no interest in him whatsoever.
In his eyes, Victor couldn't be considered Sarah's father at all, and he couldn't accept him as his grandfather.
"We must find him." Sarah regretted deeply now.
She had let her guard down because Victor had a picture of her mother.
Little did she know that it was a cunning trick he used to deceive her.
This person didn't deserve to be her father!
Despite promising to help him pay off his gambling debts, he actually conspired with the casino people to kidnap her own children.
If he could do such things, what right did he have to be her father?
Harper and Ethan also refused to acknowledge this grandfather. From their very first meeting, both of them felt a strong aversion towards him.
Antonio managed to find out where Victor was, just like Alex had. This person often appeared in the outskirts of the city, and the last time he was seen was on the national road.
"Sarah, to be honest, I've always had doubts about Victor being your biological father. The last time he came to our house, I secretly pulled out some of his hair and had it tested. The result was the same as before.
"I thought I was just overthinking it. After all, a biological father would never harm his own daughter. But now, seeing this, I realize I overestimated this person's character."
"You secretly did a paternity test?" Brian paused. "Where did you do it?"
"Of course, at a reputable paternity testing center that is recognized nationwide. The results of the test can't possibly be wrong," Antonio explained.
Brian looked puzzled. "Don't you have your own testing center?"
Suddenly, Antonio felt a sharp pain in his heart. His company had no connection to the medical field, so he didn't have a specialized institution like that.
Brian frowned, gazing at Antonio with a perplexed expression. "You mean to say you don't have your own paternity testing center?"
Once again, Antonio felt a stab in his heart.
'Alright then, the next task will be to establish a testing center. I coan't let my son look down on me because of this!'
