Chapter 369 Almost Pressed Antonio to the Ground

Serene felt uncomfortable when she saw Antonio leaving the ward.

After giving it some thought, she made up her mind and went straight to the doctor's office.

Sarah was still waiting for a taxi in front of the hospital.

Her frustration hadn't subsided. At the same time, it was not easy to hail a taxi in front of the hospital, which further irritated her.

The scene of Serene feeding Antonio just now kept flashing back, making Sarah even angrier.

"Sarah!"

Upon hearing her name being called, Sarah turned around and was immediately embraced. She was stunned before realizing who was hugging her.

Sarah struggled to push Antonio away. "Let go of me! What are you doing, being a ruffian in the street?"

But Antonio didn't care about these cold words at all. From the moment he saw Sarah, nothing else mattered.

"You really came. I thought I was imagining things. Sarah, you have no idea how much I missed you," Antonio said, embracing Sarah tightly once again.

Sarah attempted to push him away forcefully, though she held back, mindful of Antonio's injury, so as not to hurt him again.

Sarah snorted coldly and maintained a certain distance from Antonio. "Sir, please don't get touchy-feely. We don't know each other."
Antonio found Sarah incredibly cute after hearing her response. "You are my wife, so it's only natural that I hold you."

"Don't just say whatever you want. Let me repeat it again: we are not acquaintances." Sarah turned her face away, her face reddening with anger.

"Just now, we didn't know each other, and now we are not acquaintances anymore. Will we become familiar later?" Antonio said, moving closer. He finally saw his wife and didn't want to let her go so easily.

"Sir, I'm asking you to keep your distance from me." Sarah ignored Antonio's stubbornness and coldly stepped back.

Feeling helpless, Antonio raised his hands beside his ears. "Fine, fine, I won't touch you. Be careful, don't fall."

At that moment, Sarah's taxi arrived.

Sarah opened the car door and was about to get in.

Antonio couldn't let Sarah just leave like that and quickly clasped onto the car door. "Sarah, since you are here, why do you still want to be mad at me?"

"What does it have to do with me, where I am, or where I am going?" Sarah tugged at the car door. "Please let go."

"Sarah, can you stop being angry? This is unfamiliar territory for you. If you leave just like that, how will I find you?" Antonio panicked as he saw Sarah becoming serious. He didn't care about his image and held onto the car door, refusing to let her go.

The driver felt sorry for his car door. "It's just a minor quarrel between a couple. Miss, why don't you get off first?"

"Why should I get off? Just drive!"

Sarah grew increasingly frustrated as she awaited Antonio to let go of the door, but the driver didn't share the same sentiment.

"Hey, young lady, no matter how I drive, leaving the door open is dangerous. Listen to me. Quarrels between couples start at the head of the bed and end at the foot. I see this handsome guy wearing hospital clothes; he's probably sick. Don't be stubborn. Talk to him properly. If it doesn't work out, then we can leave," the driver advised.

The driver was also kind-hearted, unwilling to destroy a marriage.

Antonio responded, "I know I was wrong. Can you please not be angry anymore?"

Sarah clenched her teeth, furious. "Who said we're a couple? Let me say it again: I don't know you. Let go of me. If you continue like this, I will call the police."

The driver paused, only then realizing this wasn't a couple's argument but rather harassment!

Filled with a sense of justice, the driver stepped out of the car and was about to pin the defenseless Antonio to the ground.
