Chapter 102 You Left Me Outside for Two Years

"You left me alone abroad for two years, and now that things have turned out like this, you say I'm wicked?" He pressed his forehead against hers, his voice low and hoarse as he questioned her.
The two of them were entangled in a vague atmosphere.
Their breaths mingled for a long, long time. She felt incredibly sad and wanted to push him away.
Alexander continued to ask her, "Why did you get married then?"
‘I thought you loved me.’ However, when she looked at him with her crystal-clear eyes, she couldn't bring herself to say these words.
Between them, love was not even worth mentioning.
Someone warned her long ago that love at first sight was just a matter of lust and infatuation with each other's appearance. It was just a fantasy.
She fell in love with what she thought he was like.
The real him...was a wicked man.
He got another woman pregnant but suddenly denied it, saying it was because he was drunk.
Victoria couldn’t help but think he was despicable.
He even falsely accused her of leaving him alone abroad for two years.
She had waited for him like a fool for two years but what she got in return was his announcement that Isabella was pregnant, along with divorce papers.
And now, he was claiming that she left him alone abroad for two years.
At that time, her heart was filled with nothing but thoughts of him.
She was waiting for him like a fool, daydreaming that he would come back soon.
But he didn't contact her for a long time.
The elders always made excuses for him, saying he was too busy expanding his business, so she just foolishly waited for his call, even just a message would make her happy. But he didn't even spare her a message. She learned everything about him from others, but now...
Victoria was in tears. She felt that he was truly crossing the line. He didn't deserve her long-lasting affection.
She was simply too foolish.
"I was wrong."
So now, she looked at him and could only say that she was wrong. And indeed, she was. She could have left. She didn't have to stay here.
"I was wrong, Alexander. Can you let go of me? Can you just let go of me?"
She suddenly looked at him helplessly and pleaded with him.
She thought she had no other way. Her confronting him would be like hitting a rock with an egg.
Besides showing weakness, she couldn't do anything else. She tried not to discuss things with the elders too much, in case they couldn't handle it and something happened for which she couldn't take responsibility. She would talk to him first, no matter how.
As long as he was willing to let her go.
"Was marrying me just a mistake?" Alexander asked with a sad tone, wiping her tears away with his hand.
When she looked at him back then, he thought she had fallen in love with him.
"Yes and no. It was just my mistake, nothing to do with you," Victoria quickly and sensibly replied with tears in her eyes.
But Alexander's eyes contained a smile. "Silly girl, do you think by saying that, I'll let you go?"
"I won't," he said softly, then kissed her face again.
He desperately wanted to kiss her; he wanted to kiss her every moment and every second, even if her lips were salty with tears.
He kept kissing her until he lost track of time.
When his phone rang, he reluctantly stopped, then whispered, "What should I do if I don't want to stop?" He said this while kissing her again for a while, then unwillingly pressed his forehead against hers. "Victoria, did you drug me?"
Victoria's heart skipped a beat when she heard this.
But he just smiled lightly and took out his phone from his pocket.
Victoria immediately wanted to leave, but he couldn't bear it and held her in his arms. He wrapped his arms around her waist, forcing her to lean against his chest.
