Chapter 862 I Only Choose You

Victoria looked at Alexander, who managed to confuse her and softly asked.

Unless he could erase all her memories from that day.

If he hadn't gone to Elysium Country to find her, maybe she wouldn't have wanted it.

As long as they didn't meet.

But they did meet again.

And it turned out like this.

Victoria felt as if her heart had been ripped apart, leaving a jagged, unhealable wound.

She also wished she could go back to before that day.

She tried, but she couldn't.

She liked kissing him and holding his hand.

But she would personally sever any ties between them.

Thinking of him made her feel like she wanted to cut out that part of her heart.

Alexander was like a poison; just touching him would cause her pain, and who knew when she would be poisoned and rot away to death?

He was too terrifying.

Victoria's eyes were gentle but filled with tears. She smiled, yet it hinted at her giving up on him.

Alexander propped one hand against the wall and cupped her face with the other, looking into her tearful eyes. He slowly looked down at her nose and her fragile lips and couldn't resist anymore. He lifted her face and fiercely kissed her.

Alexander thought, 'Saying too much is pointless; actions spoke louder.'

'Between us, it would never end. No matter how disappointed she is, I'm her husband. And I could occupy her body and mind, even if I hurt her.'

Later that night, Victoria was listless in Alexander's car.

Then, she was taken back to the house they had when they got married.

Alexander carried her out of the car and quickly brought her into the house.

Jenny ran out, and he only said, "Run a bath for Victoria."

"Okay."

Jenny ran upstairs ahead of them.

Alexander slowed down while carrying Victoria, and Victoria said, "Thank you, Mr. Harrington."

Alexander remained cold and stern, saying, "I made this mess; I'll clean it up myself."

Victoria's face flushed, and her gaze slowly lowered.

She realized that recently, they seemed to be making love again.

No matter how it happened.

A warm light began to stir in her heart.

She thought, 'Maybe there is a chance.'

She would leave him.

She thought, 'If possible, I would sell the house in Elysium Country. I've heard Australia was nice; I could take Strawberry to Australia, buy a small house, and live a simple and relaxed life.'

'So, if he wants to wash, let him do it.'

Victoria was behaving too well, and Alexander stared at her intently as if he could see through her thoughts.

After the bath, he placed her on the bed and lay down beside her. "Are you thinking about how to escape again?"

Victoria couldn't help but laugh, then buried her face in the pillow.

Alexander moved closer, gently stroking the back of her head, whispering, "Thinking is useless; you're just giving me more chances to enjoy."

Victoria still didn't speak. She just quietly leaned against his chest after he pressed her head into his embrace.

They used the same shower gel, and the scent was comforting.

Maybe she was too tired; she soon fell asleep involuntarily.

After she fell asleep, Alexander called Eve on his phone, asking her to bring Strawberry to Serenade Villa.

After all, in her heart, this was her home, their shared home.

When Alexander thought of the things she said when she was drunk, his heart felt full, as if he secretly owned the whole world.

The next morning, when Victoria woke up, she heard two maids whispering at the door.

They were cleaning but couldn't help gossiping, "Ms. Harrington has changed."

"She looks a bit like Mrs. Arabella Harrington."

"Indeed."

"What are you talking about? Which room is Victoria in?"

Diana came upstairs and saw the two maids, immediately interrupting them.

"Ms. Harrington, Mrs. Victoria Harrington is in the master bedroom, still sleeping."

"Mr. Harrington told us not to disturb her." The two maids told her.

"What if I want to disturb her?"

Diana, feeling defiant, walked slowly towards the master bedroom.

When she opened the door and saw Victoria lying on the big bed, it felt like a thorn in her heart suddenly grew sharper.

Diana walked in and closed the door.

The two maids outside were very nervous. One said, "I'll go get Mr. Harrington."

The other quietly kept an eye on the situation inside, ready to rush in and help Victoria if needed.

"This is what you call wanting a divorce?"

Diana stood by the bed, looking at the hickeys on Victoria's neck and skin, and couldn't help but angrily mutter.

Victoria finally couldn't sleep anymore. She opened her eyes and saw Diana standing there, scaring her into sitting up immediately. "Diana, how did you get in here?"

"Can't I come in? This is Alexander's house. Victoria, you told me you wanted a divorce. Is this how you want a divorce?"

"I just want you to leave now."

Victoria was only wearing a camisole and didn't want anyone to see her like this.

Especially not Diana, who always mocked her.

"You think I'll leave just because you tell me to? This is our Harrington family property!"

Victoria was just an outsider in Diana's mind.

"This house was indeed built by Alexander, but it doesn't belong to him."

"What? If this house isn't his, then whose is it?"

"Mine."

Victoria couldn't understand why Diana was so impatient with her.

Was it really, as Olivia said, that Diana was infatuated with Alexander?

But no matter how infatuated Diana was with Alexander, Alexander would still get married and have his family.

Victoria tried not to overthink, only knowing she wouldn't let Diana bully her.

"Victoria, don't push it."

Diana couldn't accept it and was on the verge of tears.

"It's not me pushing it; it's you not accepting the facts."

Victoria said.

"I hate you. Get up."

"Diana."

Victoria wanted to resist but was in an awkward position, thinking she might dislocate her shoulder.

"Diana."

Alexander walked in from outside and saw the scene.

Diana suddenly stopped, and the next second, tears streamed down her face. "Alexander, is this villa Victoria's?"

"Get out," Alexander said.

Diana was shocked by his words.

And Alexander's expression was terrifying.

It wasn't the look a brother should have for his sister.

All because of Victoria, Diana glared at Victoria and then turned and ran out.

Alexander immediately stepped forward, helping Victoria sit up and asking worriedly, "Are you okay?"

"I strained my arm."

She said softly and helplessly.

How could Diana be like this?

'Diana, as the Harrington family's daughter,' Victoria thought, 'No matter how Diana is unreasonable, she wouldn't get physical.'

It turned out that even someone as high status as Diana would pull hair during a fight.

But Alexander had just told Diana to get out, and Diana's pride was probably hurt. Victoria looked up, "You probably scared her just now."

"If I had to choose between her and you, I'd only choose you."
