Chapter 894 Alexander's Schemes Again

Victoria couldn't help it and looked up at Alexander.

What Alexander said was annoying.

"If you can't take care of Strawberry by then, I won't bring her over again."

She immediately stopped looking at him and didn't want to argue for herself anymore.

But she had barely taken a few steps, hadn't even reached the door when her feet left the ground. By the time she came to her senses, she was already in his arms.

He was carrying her horizontally again, easily striding inside with his long legs, his grip steady and secure.

Victoria had drunk a bit too much. He placed her on the bed, and in less than a minute, she was asleep.

Alexander sat there looking at her. He was leaving tomorrow; did she hear him or not?

This meeting was too short.

Alexander looked at her sleeping face, her tender lips, and slowly leaned down.

The last time he kissed her felt like it belonged to another lifetime.

Her lips tonight had a hint of alcohol.

But as soon as he kissed her lips, she felt a bit ticklish and instinctively hummed, turning her head away.

Alexander raised his hand and gently brushed her hair. He didn't want her to cut her hair.

Unless she cut her hair one day, not for him.

The night settled in. He lay beside her, and his inscrutable eyes fixed on her.

She slept for two hours, only humming a few times when he touched her. Probably because of the alcohol, she slept very soundly.

Ankenra City.

Daisy rarely went back to her parents' home and cried to Ursa about Elliot.

Ursa just said with some regret, "Bear with it for a while, then find a reason to divorce."

"Really? Can I get a divorce, Mom?"

Daisy had the same idea.

She couldn't stay with such a terrible man for long.

"Of course you can. If your father had known about his habits, he wouldn't have let you marry him. But you can't have any thoughts about Alexander, understand?"

"How can I control myself?"

"I heard Alexander has already flown abroad to find Victoria. He likes Victoria. It's impossible between you and him."

"What? He went to find Victoria?"

Daisy felt helpless. She never thought Alexander would fly abroad to find Victoria. She had thought that with Victoria gone and Alexander in the city, she would have a chance. But she forgot that Alexander could go wherever he wanted.

Isabella said they should get rid of Victoria, or else none of them would have a chance.

Could that be true?

"Dais, did you hear what I said? If you keep causing trouble, our family will end up like the Montgomery family."

"Mom, don't you get it? The Montgomery family is doing fine now. The Montgomery Group only lost everything because of internal strife, but the Montgomery Group is now developing well under Dorian's bastard Arthur, not because of Alexander."

"Dais, you're too naive."

"Mom, I'm madly in love with Alexander." Daisy looked at Ursa seriously.

Especially after being with Elliot, she felt even more that Alexander was a real man.

Alexander had courage, strength, and resources.

"Mom, I want to break them up. I have a plan."

"What plan?"

Daisy spoke confidently, "Just wait and see."

She had already made up her mind. She was determined to become Alexander's woman.

She was confident that she would succeed.

The next morning, abroad, the sun was shining brightly.

When Victoria woke up again, she just felt warm all over.

She hadn't felt this warm in a long time, but as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Alexander's tanned skin and quickly looked up.

"Last night, I just wanted to ask where my clothes were put."

"Who would have thought that someone who usually talks so tough would hold onto me in bed and not let go after getting drunk."

Victoria was stunned by Alexander's words.

Did she hold onto him and not let go again last night?

Did she even undress him?

The more Victoria thought about it, the more terrified she felt. She wanted to let go, but suddenly her waist was held tightly.

"Don't you want to say something to me?" Alexander's voice was deep and menacing.

"Sorry."

Victoria sincerely apologized in a low voice, pushing his chest but couldn't move him.

Alexander held her waist firmly, showing no intention of letting go, and continued to press, "Is it enough? As a grown man, I was held like a heater all night and did nothing."

Victoria's big eyes looked straight at Alexander, clearly saying, "What else do you want? What more do you want to do?"

They had been broken up for so long.

"This time, I'll let it go. But if it happens again..."

"It won't."

Victoria lowered her head. She didn't fully believe him, but given that she had indeed done such things before, she reluctantly admitted it.

Seeing her serious look, Alexander's eyes flashed with a smile, but he immediately pretended to be serious, "I have an 8:30 flight."

Victoria paused, remembering that he said last night he was leaving this morning.

"I want to make a decision." He suddenly said.

Victoria looked at him in confusion, almost forgetting how close and intimate they were.

"Or maybe I've already made up my mind." He chuckled.

Victoria still didn't understand.

He knew everything himself, but she didn't.

"What?"

She suddenly felt that the decision must have something to do with her.

"Are you still mad at me?"

"What?" Victoria was dumbfounded.

What did this have to do with whether she was mad?

But what should she be mad at him for?

When they argued, she had emotions when she was misunderstood, but she didn't like to dwell on the past. What was done was done.

"Silly."

Alexander raised his hand to touch her hair and leaned in.

Victoria instinctively bent away from him.

Alexander lowered his head, "If you behave well, you'll like my decision."

Victoria looked up, her eyes full of hope as she gazed at him.

Could he be planning to leave Strawberry with her instead of going alone?

Victoria suddenly felt a rush of excitement. Alexander had intended to kiss her forehead, but seeing her like this, he couldn't bring himself to do it and just pulled her into his arms.

All those harsh words he had said before couldn't be taken back.

He just held her tighter.

Victoria felt like she was going to suffocate.

Her phone rang, and only then did Alexander let her go.

She turned around to pick up the phone. Seeing it was Adrian, she immediately thought of Melissa, sat up, and answered the call, "Adi."

"Is my mom with you?"

"No, last night a man claiming to be her secretary picked her up."

Victoria suddenly panicked. Could that person not have been a secretary?

What about Melissa now?

"Secretary?"

"Darren Montague."

While Adrian was puzzled, Victoria felt nervous until she heard Alexander calmly say a name.

Victoria turned to look at Alexander. He was lazily lying there, his upper body bare. She quickly lowered her head but couldn't help looking at him again, "Who's Darren?"

"It's him, then it's fine."

Adrian was surprised that Alexander was with Victoria, but once he confirmed Melissa was safe, he was relieved and hung up.

Victoria heard the call end, looked at her phone in confusion, then stared at Alexander, "You saw that person last night? You know him? That Darren?"

"Yes." Alexander nodded.

Melissa had sought Alexander's help while doing business, so Alexander knew Darren.

"Does he like Mrs. Montague?"

"Stay with me for a while longer."

"I don't want to, I want to get up."

"Don't you want to know about Darren?"

"Forget it."

Victoria thought for a moment and decided to stay away from Alexander.

Alexander didn't move, just said, "What about the decision I mentioned earlier?"

Victoria had already put her legs off the bed, but after thinking for two seconds, she quickly got up.

Alexander felt a bit disappointed seeing her still wanting to leave and frowned.

But soon she ran back, holding a man's tank top.

He recognized it; it was his.

"Put this on, and then we'll talk."

"You have to lie next to me for me if you want to hear."

Victoria thought he was being unreasonable but still handed him the tank top, hesitated for a few seconds, and then urged in a low voice, "Put the tank top on first."

"Don't you know how many hairs I have on my body?"

Victoria's face heated up, but she couldn't help but retort in her mind. 'I don't know how many hairs you have; they are countless.'

Men naturally had more body hair than women, so she couldn't possibly count them all.

But she suddenly remembered a time before when she did count his leg hair for fun. It wasn't that she had some weird hobby; his leg was injured, and she was applying medicine when he teased her, so she messed with him, and then...

The past shouldn't be revisited.

He put on the tank top, patted the spot next to him, and she lay down again, her big eyes looking at him, signaling him to speak quickly.

Alexander reached out to hold her hand resting on her lower abdomen. Her small hand was a bit cold, so he warmed it with his, staring at her intently for a moment before speaking, "Kiss me."

"I won't."

Victoria was shocked by his words and immediately refused.

"What if I say my decision involves you and Strawberry?"

Victoria suddenly felt tempted.

"If you don't want to kiss, forget it. I should be going."

Victoria panicked and grabbed his arm, pushing him down.

Alexander propped one hand behind his head, the other hanging down, his eyes calmly and attentively watching her.

At that moment, the whole room fell silent. She thought if a kiss could keep Strawberry here, even for a while, she would be satisfied.

"Are you planning to leave Strawberry with me?"
