Chapter 923 I Don't Need Your Help

"Are you blaming me?"

Alexander asked Victoria softly.

"Can I blame you?"

Victoria retorted to him with a slightly coquettish tone.

"Yes."

He gave a definite answer, but the next moment, he sealed her lips fiercely.

When she asked that question, she was cautious and restrained, but to him, it felt as if the whole world had suddenly blocked his way.

He wanted to make love to her desperately.

Victoria quickly pressed her hand gently against his lips, looking at him tenderly, reminding him, "You can't see clearly, can you?"

"What?"

"Every time you kiss me, you hit the spot perfectly," Victoria murmured.

Victoria murmured.

Alexander looked at her pink lips, chuckled, and kissed her gently again, "I can kiss every sensitive spot on your body with my eyes closed."

He probably didn't realize how addictive his lips lightly touching hers were. If it weren't for the unpleasant things between them, she might have already succumbed to his seduction.

But now, she could only watch him, watch him kiss her chest. She gently cupped his sexy jawline with her hand and murmured, "Alexander, I don't want to make love."

"Don't tell me no."

"Of course, if you force it, I can't fight you."

Victoria lowered her eyes, feeling aggrieved and unable to suppress her anger.

But Alexander found it particularly amusing. He even thought her tantrum was somewhat heroic.

He couldn't help but kiss her again, as if to erase all her unhappiness, just wanting to hear her gentle moans.

"Tori, hold me."

He murmured, sucking on her earlobe, releasing it, and then taking her ear in his mouth.

Victoria felt ticklish from his kisses, her ears already red, turning her face to avoid him. But he kissed her neck, repeatedly entangling her sensitive spot.

"Hold me." He commanded.

Victoria clenched her hands against his chest, unable to hold back her anger, slowly raising her eyes to look at him, seeing that he didn't care about her displeasure at all.

He must know she wasn't happy about this.

But he ignored it.

Victoria, feeling childish, didn't want to pay attention to him and turned her face away.

Alexander suddenly sucked hard on her neck. Hearing her pained moan, he released her and whispered, "I'll take you for dessert after we're done. You're too skinny, you know?"

'Who wants to eat dessert at night?'

'If he thought she was too skinny, he could find someone more voluptuous.' Victoria thought.

But he insisted on tormenting her.

Victoria felt miserable until the weight on her body suddenly lightened.

Alexander, while controlling her, reached out to open the drawer to look for something.

Victoria turned her head in confusion. Hearing the faint sound of tearing, she suddenly understood. Taking advantage of his unguarded moment, she kicked him hard in the back.

A loud crash.

Alexander fell off the bed.

Victoria thought he deserved it.

But as soon as she thought that, she felt something was wrong.

There was no sound from below the bed.

She quickly moved over, peering over the edge.

"Alexander?"

She was scared.

He lay on the ground, motionless.

Even after she called, he didn't move. Her heart was in her throat. She reached out to gently push his back, whispering fearfully, "Alexander."

"Alexander, Diana!"

She pushed him twice more, but he didn't move. She nervously rolled off the bed, pushing and calling him. She thought she might need to take him to the hospital immediately. She didn't have enough strength alone; she needed help.

Diana happened to be staying here, so she immediately called for Diana.

But her mouth was quickly covered.

"Don't call Diana."

Alexander's voice, familiar and buzzing in her head.

She looked down and saw that Alexander had turned over. Her eyes, already teary from tension, now overflowed with tears.

Alexander immediately got up, whispering, "Don't call her. I'm fine."

Victoria just let her tears fall silently.

Alexander quickly released her mouth, wiping her tears, whispering, "I was just teasing you."

Victoria almost cried out loud, but remembering she shouldn't show she cared, she quickly stopped, looking at him angrily through her tears.

Alexander, seeing her red eyes, couldn't help but kiss her again.

Victoria pushed him away and got up, walking towards the sofa.

Alexander sat there, his hands full of her tears, feeling like he was wrapped in a cloud of cotton candy.

But seeing her so angry, he knew he had scared her. He quickly got up and walked towards her.

As Alexander reached the sofa armrest, he bumped into it and cried out in pain.

Victoria, seeing him approach, was about to yell at him to go back, but hearing his cry, she quickly got up to help him. "Be careful."

"Don't be mad, okay?" He coaxed gently.

Victoria thought for a moment, "Anyway, once Strawberry's birthday is over, I'm leaving."

"Then I'll leave too."

"Where will you go?"

"Wherever you go."

Victoria looked into Alexander's loving eyes, feeling it was unreal. When she came to her senses, she found herself already in his arms.

"Don't leave, okay?"

"No."

Victoria lowered her head, murmuring, and pushed his hand away, sitting on the sofa calmly, "Alexander, I have to leave."

Alexander stood there, looking at her helplessly.

She was always so sure of what she wanted to do, whether to stay or go.

"You have to keep your word, at least once."

Victoria murmured, looking up at Alexander.

Among all the promises he made to her, there had to be one that was true, right?

If only the promise to never contact her again had been genuine.

She wanted to take Strawberry away, and that stung him deeply, making him realize he didn't want her anymore. So, he took it upon himself to send her away.

He should keep that attitude towards her, never thinking of bringing her back.

This city, this person, she didn't want anymore.

Suddenly, thunder rumbled outside. Both of them looked out the window, and then that night, they slept with their backs to each other.

The next morning, Diana ran into Alexander as she left. He looked terrible, as if she had just stiffed him on a big loan."Good morning, Alexander."

"Morning."

He replied indifferently, already heading towards the stairs.

He didn't seem to miss a step.

Diana couldn't help but frown, wondering if Alexander...

"Good morning, Diana."

"Morning."

Diana snapped out of it, greeting Victoria, who had just come out.

At that moment, Alexander, who was going downstairs, suddenly missed a step, grabbing the handrail to avoid falling.

"Be careful."

Diana felt a gust of wind pass by, and when she looked again, Victoria was already by Alexander's side.

She seemed to understand.

"I don't need your help."

Alexander said with a stern expression, lifting his arm from Victoria's hand.

"Walk slowly, hold the handrail."

Victoria stepped back but reminded Alexander.

"Why bother? After you leave, will anyone else remind me like this all the time?"

Alexander mentioned, holding the handrail and slowly walking down.
