Chapter 449 Tonight's Wind Feels Refreshing

Did Alexander want to spend the rest of his life with her?

As she continued to gaze at him, tears silently falling, Victoria slowly withdrew her hand.

Actually, this sentence, in terms of expressing love, wasn't much different from saying, "I love you."

In fact, she felt this sentence was even more heartfelt.

If it weren't for the other woman in his life, she would probably be moved to tears by now.

She kept looking at him, but her breathing grew heavier.

Alexander was still squatting there with her, which felt a bit humbling.

Victoria's emotions gradually became extremely complex, forcing her to lower her gaze to conceal the feelings in her eyes.

In this marriage, both of them were humble.

They didn't know if the other was willing to be loyal to themselves.

"I want to believe you more than anyone." Victoria clenched her fingers, trying to make her voice heard.

Alexander looked at her with a sense of loss in his eyes, knowing she still didn't want him.

Victoria slowly stood up, supporting herself on the safe. Her legs were a bit numb, but she had to stand up.

Alexander stood up with her, not wanting it to end like this. He continued, "Give me a chance to prove it."

"How?" Victoria looked at him and asked.

"You tell me," Alexander replied.

"Do I have to say it?" Victoria looked at him with distrust and quickly continued, "Respect all my wishes."

"That's a given," Alexander agreed readily.

Victoria looked at him for a few seconds, then lowered her eyes helplessly.

She thought he agreed so quickly that he hadn't even considered whether he could do it.

Or maybe he hadn't considered what she wanted at all.

He must be the kind of person who lived in the moment.

Alexander didn't care if the sky fell or the earth caved in tomorrow.

Victoria couldn't trust him because he always agreed too readily.

"You can't just come to my apartment whenever you want," Victoria continued to demand.

Let's see how much he could actually do.

"But I want to sleep with you." Alexander appeared conflicted in his expression, with a hint of subtle humility.

"Don't you just say you'd respect all my wishes?" Victoria quickly reminded him.

It hadn't even been two minutes. Was he already about to break his promise?

Alexander immediately lowered his head in disappointment.

"Forget it, you can't do any of it." Victoria expressed her disappointment, not wanting to make it hard for him.

Then Victoria quietly observed him.

She thought, 'Maybe he would change?'

She turned around to pretend to leave decisively.

"Hey, I promise, but can it not be too long?" Alexander immediately grabbed her, looking distressed.

The moment Victoria turned around, Alexander felt like he was about to lose her.

"It depends on your behavior," Victoria said, biting her lip.

She didn't know the reason why she suddenly felt like she was teasing him and wanted to laugh a little.

"During this time, you need to cooperate with me to take wedding photos," Alexander said, worried she might refuse.

"It depends on your behavior," Victoria repeated, then pushed his hand away.

This time, Alexander didn't dare to grab her again. After all, he had just made a promise.

Victoria walked out step by step, and only then did Alexander turn around. She was worried he might suddenly stop her, so she kept glancing back. Once outside, she quickly ran away.

Alexander felt like his heart was torn, and he felt a bit uncomfortable.

Victoria quickly left the Regal Retreat. As soon as she got downstairs, a driver was waiting for her.

Alexander had sent her a message: [I can't let you take a cab by yourself. It's too dangerous.]

After reading it, Victoria put her phone down and instinctively turned to look out the window. A strange sweetness filled her heart, and the corners of her lips lifted uncontrollably. The night breeze felt refreshing and joyful.
