Chapter 945 Alexander's Worries

At that moment, Diana suddenly stopped.

Even Andre didn't mind such harsh words, so why did Curtis care so much?

Diana turned her head, casting a somewhat resentful and angry look at Curtis.

Then a wave of cheap perfume wafted past Diana, accompanied by that affected voice, "Curtis."

Curtis's face immediately became tense. He forced a smile and greeted Leah Harris, who was approaching, but couldn't help glancing over at Diana.

Diana stared at Leah's back for a few moments and left when she saw Curtis shaking hands with Leah.

Diana thought Curtis must have heard what Andre said. She hoped Curtis would reflect on it properly instead of using another woman to spite her.

Such spiteful actions could easily lead to a broken relationship.

"Diana, do you like Curtis?"

After walking a long distance, Andre suddenly asked her in a daze.

The reason was that she hadn't looked at him the whole way, and she seemed even more preoccupied after seeing Curtis.

"So many girls have a crush on Curtis, why can't I like him too?" Diana asked.

"But Curtis already has someone in his heart," Andre murmured.

"What?" Diana questioned, annoyed.

"Once, a girl confessed to Curtis, but he said he already had a girlfriend." He replied.

Diana was still upset when she left school. Curtis said he already had a girlfriend; at that time, he was dating Juliette, right?

He probably didn't know then that Juliette had already fallen for another man.

Diana felt displeased. Andre sent a message: [Diana, I'm really pursuing you.]

Diana found it funny; she didn't like men like Andre.

She liked mature, steady men who could keep her in check.

Curtis quickly sent Diana a message, too. Diana was already driving back to the city. She glanced at it; Curtis asked, [Did you leave?]

Was she supposed to stay and watch him flirt with other women?

Curtis had learned his manners so well that he could shake hands with anyone.

When Diana got back to the city, she went to the Harrington Mansion.

After the Welcome Baby Party, everyone didn't want to hold another big event, so they just had a meal together at home.

But Eloise and Arabella still dragged Victoria around, thinking the home atmosphere should have the excitement of a birthday party.

Victoria thought Strawberry was really lucky.

"Mom, how many people are coming to Strawberry's birthday?" Diana asked.

"Counting Melissa and Adrian, how many do you think?" Arabella replied.

"One, two, three..." Diana counted and suddenly thought of Curtis, so she asked, "Mom, isn't Adi bringing his agent back?"

"Ava? Probably not, Ava is still out of town." Arabella replied.

"Ava has been angry for a long time." Diana sighed.

"Adrian slept with Ava but didn't say he liked her. Of course, Ava would be angry." Eloise remarked.

"That's true. Why didn't Adrian say he didn't like Ava when he slept with her? Jerk!" Diana sat to the side, muttering.

Soon, she realized something was wrong. She looked up to see everyone staring at her, even Victoria.

Diana was immediately embarrassed. She covered Victoria's eyes, "You're the youngest here, you're not allowed to look at me."

Victoria couldn't help but laugh.

Sometimes Diana was like a child.

Not childish, but rather candid.

When Alexander came back, he saw Diana teasing Victoria on the couch and immediately called out, "Diana."

Diana quickly got off Victoria, her face flushed from exertion, and walked away guiltily.

Alexander quickly strode to the couch to check on Victoria. "Are you hurt?"

Victoria was startled by his serious expression and shook her head.

The elders watched, knowing he had misunderstood. Arabella couldn't help but speak first, "Do you think Diana is a killer? They were just playing around."

Alexander was very unhappy and expressed, "You all know Victoria has a bad back, yet you let Diana play with her like this."
