Victoria received a message from Alexander that day.
Alexander stood in front of the large glass window in his office, not knowing why, but he had been wanting to say this to her constantly lately.

Her mom took her hand and led her to the kitchen. When her dad turned around, both of them couldn't help but laugh; her dad's face was covered in flour.
Her parents were laughing, so she laughed too, but as she laughed, tears started to flow.
In the dream, she knew it was just a dream.
She couldn't go back!
When she woke up in the morning, Eve came to her with Strawberry in her arms, "Mrs. Harrington, wake up, it's your birthday today. Desiree is already making lots of delicious food."
"What?"
Victoria, still groggy, got up and saw her favorite person already in bed.
"Mommy."
"Strawberry."
Victoria was tackled by Strawberry, and her ribs hurt a little.
Eve, worried that Strawberry might hurt Victoria, tried to pick her up, but Strawberry rolled back into Victoria's arms, lying on her shoulder, sucking thumb, and smiling at Eve.

Her parents were gone, but she was a parent now.

The three of them immediately replied enthusiastically, telling Victoria to pamper herself as much as possible today. Emily even suggested, [How about I introduce you to a guy? He's working over there and is super handsome.]
[Wait, if Alexander checks her phone when he visits, you're dead.] Olivia warned.
Victoria replied, [We agreed, he's coming next week.]
