Chapter 444 You Will Have a Smooth Life Ahead

Turning cold instantly, Dorian turned to leave.

Janaye couldn't help but give Victoria a thumbs-up, staring at Dorian's retreating figure as he entered the elevator. "He's definitely fuming."

"He's not that easy to piss off," Victoria said softly.

Alexander came out from inside. "Come with me for a bit."

"I'm not feeling well. Take Janaye with you."

Alexander was taken aback for a moment, then glanced at Janaye.

Janaye was also terrified, not wanting to go out with Alexander.

But in the end, it was Alexander and Janaye.

Janaye sat in the front, feeling like she couldn't breathe.

During lunch, she found a moment to message Victoria: [Mr. Harrington asks why you're mad again.]

Victoria glanced at it and replied: [Let him figure it out himself.]

Jason and some friends visited, and Victoria acted as their guide, helping them check into a hotel in the afternoon before taking them to a couple of tourist spots.

The friends were more playful, except for Jason. "How have you been lately?"

"Good," Victoria replied.

"You must be over that incident by now, right?" Jason asked.

Victoria remembered and walked behind the group with him, explaining, "They caught the guy. The guy didn't rape me that night."

"Why not?" Jason asked.

"He doesn't like women," Victoria replied.

Jason was stunned.

"You lucky woman, you're going to have a smooth life ahead," Jason said, putting his arm around her neck to wish her well.

Victoria couldn't help but laugh.

They might not be suited to be a couple, but they made good friends.

Some people were just not meant to be a couple.

"My parents recently said maybe I shouldn't have called off the engagement back then," Jason said.

"Why?" Victoria asked curiously.

Jason, still holding her shoulders, replied, "You've been married to Alexander for a while now, and no one in the Harrington family has had any accidents. Their stock prices have soared. My parents think it might have just been a traffic accident."

Jason felt sad as he said this. He felt guilty towards this girl, even though she never blamed him.

He also worried that she might never get over her parents' situation.

Victoria just sighed. "Then tell Mr. and Mrs. Sterling that I don't mind what happened before. We can be friends even if we can't be a couple."

"Hey, don't say that. My mom might think I don't like women either," Jason said.

"Would Mrs. Sterling think that about you?" Victoria asked.

"Of course. Has anyone else's mom thought that about them?" Jason asked.

"Yes, Alexander's mom. Actually, his whole family seems to think he has a problem," Victoria replied.

"Why? Tell me more," Jason continued.

"Alexander doesn't want me to talk about it," Victoria replied.

"Do you listen to him that much?" Jason asked.

"Well, it is his private matter," Victoria replied.

The sun shone brightly, and Jason stopped, releasing her. He looked at her seriously and asked, "Have you two really not... That's impossible."

He immediately dismissed his thought.

Jason had met Alexander, who was such a domineering and strong-willed person.

"Don't pry into his privacy. Even if we haven't done anything, it's not because of his ability," Victoria said.

Victoria thought she shouldn't let people misunderstand him.

Alexander was definitely in good health.

They had slept together so many times, and she had done so much research. How could she still say he had health issues?

Unless his sexual organs couldn't get hard in front of girls, being able to get hard meant he was healthy.

Victoria was puzzled. She heard he went to visit Isabella at the hospital.

She thought, 'How powerful must the Montgomery family be to get the hospital staff to cooperate with their act? Or do I misunderstand Isabella because Isabella has a good relationship with Alexander? Could Isabella really have leukemia?'

The more Victoria thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed. 'If my jealousy has grown so strong that I couldn't distinguish right from wrong, then...'
