Chapter 502 Crying Tears of Joy

Isabella walked back and asked Naomi, "How'd you make Victoria disappear? What if the Harringtons come looking for her?"

Isabella was a bit agitated.

She thought, 'If Victoria's gone, I can definitely win Alexander back. When he's hurt, it's the perfect time for me to swoop in.'

Isabella suddenly felt hopeful again.

Naomi snorted, "The Harringtons looking for Victoria? They think she's a burden, only keeping her around because of public opinion. It's unlikely they would consider someone from a different background as their equal?"

"Isn't that the case? The elders in the Harrington family treat Victoria very well." Although Isabella said this, she was actually hoping Naomi would refute her.

Sure enough, Naomi said as Isabella wished, "Of course not. The Harringtons obviously prefer someone from a matching background. What help could an ordinary girl like Victoria bring to their family?"

"But does the Harrington family even need help?" Isabella was confused.

Naomi said confidently, "Of course they do. No one in this world doesn't need help."

Isabella immediately straightened her back, her confidence returning.

Naomi comforted, "Calm down for now. Let's plan this out carefully."

Isabella said calmly, "Right, I need to calm down. I can't just go up to him like this, even if I know Alexander's house's password."

Naomi was surprised. She didn't know Isabella knew the password to the upstairs.

Isabella's phone rang, and she hurriedly walked back, picked up the phone she had kicked away, and saw the name Alexander. She immediately became so excited she could hardly breathe.

Seeing Isabella's excitement, Naomi asked, "Who is it?"

"It's Alexander. He must be calling to apologize. He was very harsh to me this afternoon," Isabella couldn't help but laugh as she replied.

"Then answer it quickly." Naomi quickly reminded her, not understanding why she was so excited but not answering the phone.

"No, Mom, I won't answer," Isabella said calmly.

"What?" Naomi was confused.

Isabella explained, "I'm always the one apologizing. He should taste that feeling of grievance, too."

Isabella didn't answer, but she became happy again. "Mom, let's have another drink."

Naomi smirked. "Sure. Show Alexander that you have a temper too, and he needs to coax you properly

"Exactly."

They suddenly became very happy. Naomi looked at a wine glass on the table and said, "I'll go get another glass."

"Okay." Isabella sat back on the sofa, unable to hold back her tears of joy.

She thought, 'If Dad can find a way to make Victoria disappear, then I will comfort a bit, and Alexander will surely realize that I'm the girl he should love. When I saw that wedding dress on Victoria this afternoon, I just felt it should have been mine. The things embedded in the wedding dress were mesmerizing.'

Soon, Isabella's phone rang again. She excitedly picked it up, only to see another number.

She hadn't saved this number, but she was already familiar with it.

She answered the call, "Mr. Reed, what brings you to call me?"

"I'm in room 6065 at the Frosty Summit Hotel," said the steady voice on the other end.

Isabella's heart skipped a beat as she said, "Mrs. Reed is in the west of the city stopping others from being friends with me, and you want me to sleep with you, hum?"

"I just miss you as an old friend. You don't have to come," Timothy said calmly and quickly hung up.

Isabella was consumed by an inexplicable rage, an uncontrollable impulse coursing through her.

She thought, 'What right did Mrs. Reed have to stop others from being friends with me? She couldn't keep Timothy's heart and actually blamed me.'

"Isabella, how about we open this bottle? It looks expensive. Isabella..."

Naomi came out with the wine, only to hear the door lock click. She looked towards the sofa and found Isabella was no longer there.

Naomi muttered happily, "Did Isabella go upstairs? Alexander even gave her the password. Must be to make it easier for them to spend time together. These playful games."

The next morning, Isabella returned to Regal Retreat from the hotel and saw Alexander and Victoria coming down the stairs in the hall.

She panicked for a moment, then forced a smile. "Alexander, what a coincidence. Hello, Victoria."

"Why didn't you answer my call last night?" Alexander asked.

"My phone wasn't with me. Was there something you needed when you called?" Isabella bit her lip, looking shy. But then she glanced at Victoria and back at him, saying, "How about I come to your office later to talk? I think I should go freshen up first."

Isabella was still wearing last night's clothes and hadn't freshened up.

"I just wanted to tell you to move out of Regal Retreat," Alexander said coldly.

"What?" Isabella instantly looked up, unable to believe what she was hearing.

Victoria looked at Alexander, surprised he was being so direct with Isabella.

Last night, Alexander had told Victoria he would show her his true feelings.

Now, Victoria's admiration for him grew, and her feelings seemed ready to overflow.

Alexander just said calmly, "Isabella, please leave Regal Retreat. The misunderstanding that brought you here has been resolved. I expect you to vacate the premises promptly.."

Isabella was speechless, just staring at Alexander in disbelief.

Victoria also looked at Isabella, realizing that bad things could happen to others too.

A few months ago, Alexander had asked Victoria to move out of the Harrington Family Old Mansion where she had lived for two years because of Isabella.

"I'll have someone come to clean the house by noon," Alexander said and then walked out.

Victoria snapped out of it and quickly followed.

Isabella stood there, her eyes filled with undisguised malice as she looked at Victoria's back.

Victoria glanced at Isabella as she passed, filled with disdain.

She still hated Isabella, not because of her entanglement with Alexander, but because of what Isabella had done to her.

Although Victoria had luckily escaped, Isabella's filth disgusted her so much.

Victoria quickly looked away and caught up with Alexander under Isabella's hateful gaze. She even wickedly took the initiative to hold Alexander's arm.

As Isabella was heartbroken, Victoria only wanted to make her more miserable.

At the same time, Alexander was overjoyed by Victoria's sudden initiative.

Victoria didn't look up at him, but he was excited for a long time.

But soon Victoria let go of Alexander.

As Alexander drove, he asked Victoria, "Were you using me just now?"

"Yes." Victoria didn't deny it and asked him, "Mr. Harrington, will you be unhappy?"

"Certainly not. I'm very happy and hope you can use me more in the future. My body is at your service all day," Alexander said seriously as he drove.

After saying that, he couldn't help but glance at Victoria, who was awkward yet charming.

Victoria felt a sense of being pampered and quickly looked away, gazing out the window.

She thought to herself, 'I won't believe it. If Alexander can keep doing this, maybe in a few years I'll believe it. After all, his hot-and-cold behavior isn't new. He even claimed to be a virgin. Could he really be? No, he must not be. He is already twenty-eight. Who was he kidding?'

In the quiet space, Alexander's deep, sexy voice sounded. "Victoria?"

"What?" Victoria asked.

"Give me your hand," Alexander said.
