Chapter 800 I Didn't Seduce You
Later, Alexander didn't do anything else. He held Victoria in his arms and quickly fell asleep.
When he woke up again, she was no longer by his side.
Downstairs, the servants were already cleaning, and the kitchen staff were preparing breakfast.
The women were doing yoga in the empty room on the rooftop, and the men were playing tennis.
Alexander came out lazily without washing up and saw people coming and going in the living room, but there was no sign of Victoria.
"Mr. Harrington, you're awake."
"Where's Victoria?"
"She was just on the phone."
The servant cleaning upstairs glanced downstairs, puzzled not to see Victoria either.
Alexander felt relieved to hear that Victoria had just been on the phone.
During breakfast, everyone was chatting and laughing, but Victoria ignored him.
Alexander glanced at her several times silently, thinking that they had slept together just last night.
This morning, she was pretending not to know him.
"By the way, Victoria, did you go out last night?"
"No."
Tessa's question made Victoria's heart skip a beat, but she quickly responded calmly.
"I thought I saw a car go out last night."
"I told you, you got it wrong."
Benjamin said softly.
Tessa glanced at him and said no more, but Alexander read some hints from Benjamin's eyes. He then quietly leaned over to Victoria's ear and whispered, "There's a dashcam in the car."
Victoria's face turned pale instantly, but she quickly said, "I suddenly wanted some dessert last night, so I did go out for a bit."
Alexander stared at her without asking more, but he felt she was lying and not very convincingly.
Naturally, others could tell it was a lie, too.
Victoria felt a bit embarrassed, but there was no way to take back what she had said.
After breakfast, everyone left. Alexander stood in the living room, and Jenny ran up to him, "Mr. Harrington, I couldn't find Mrs. Harrington's car keys."
Victoria came out of the bathroom, rubbing hand cream, and asked slowly, "Why are you looking for my car keys?"
"I wanted to see if I could drive your car."
Alexander said.
Victoria couldn't help but think of the dashcam, then smiled awkwardly but politely, "My little old car isn't worthy of Mr. Harrington."
"Don't say that. I've given myself to you, so your car is naturally worthy of me."
He raised an eyebrow, looking very smug.
Jenny, listening nearby, couldn't help but laugh and quietly walked away before she burst out laughing, thinking this couple was just a pair of frenemies.
"I can tell you clearly, we are done."
Victoria couldn't stand him acting as if nothing had happened and turned to leave after speaking.
"Do you mean have sex or be a couple?"
Victoria turned back in astonishment at his words.
Did he even hear what he was saying?
Luckily, everyone else was far away, otherwise...
"After all, you kissed me first last night and slept in the same bed with me. Now you're saying we are done?"
Alexander's calm and serious questioning made her even more confused.
Did he remember last night?
Seeing Victoria finally recall last night, Alexander immediately walked over to her, scrutinizing her closely, "You sneaked out while I was asleep to get dessert? That late at night, where did you go for dessert?"
"Why should I tell you?"
His every question made her nervous.
"You don't need to tell me. Once I find your dashcam, I'll know which man you were with last night."
Alexander said and walked out.
Victoria reflexively turned and followed him with her eyes.
What did he mean by being with another man?
"Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington's car keys have been found."
It was Alfred.
"Alfred, I'll send you a generous bonus later."
Alexander grabbed Victoria's keys, happily said, and turned around, deliberately dangling her keychain on his finger in front of her.
"Alfred, how could you give him my car keys?"
Victoria hurried over in a panic.
"Mrs. Harrington, didn't you ask Mr. Harrington to find your car keys?"
"I didn't ask him to find my car keys."
Victoria was even more stunned, then thought again, feeling utterly disappointed, and anxiously looked at Alexander, "Are you spreading nonsense again?"
"I helped you find your car keys, and you accuse me of spreading nonsense?"
"Now give me back the keys."
There was no time to argue with him; she didn't want him to check her dashcam.
"Where did you go last night?"
Alexander clutched the keys in his hand and put them in his pocket, suddenly asking her seriously.
"I... I just went out to buy dessert."
"Where's the dessert then?"
"I ate it."
"Where's the packaging?"
"Your lying skills are worse than before."
Alexander stared at her, said, and turned to leave.
His look seemed to say, "You're not convincing at all."
Victoria had no choice but to follow, "I finished the dessert on the way, and the packaging was thrown in an outside trash can."
"Really? Then I'm afraid you'll have to accompany me to find it."
"Never mind, it's a waste of time. I'll just check the dashcam."
"Alexander."
He walked fast, and she couldn't keep up, angrily calling out to him.
Alexander stopped and turned around.
His gaze was strong and determined.
It seemed he already knew where she had gone.
"Mrs. Harrington, are you planning to tell me where you went yourself?"
Alexander stopped, turned back, and smiled at her, asking.
Victoria was more convinced that he knew where she had gone.
But he was so drunk.
Victoria walked up quickly, stubbornly demanding, "Give me back my car keys."
"I suddenly thought of another way."
Alexander said again.
"What?"
A wave of anxiety washed over her.
His expression told her this method was even more unique.
Alexander smiled and stepped forward, whispering, "I suddenly remembered there are cameras in the dining room. I may not remember clearly, but I do recall we talked for quite a while, and you sat on my lap, seducing me."
"I didn't seduce you."
"You did."
Alexander didn't allow her to refute.
Victoria looked into his eyes, suppressing her words for a long time to avoid showing weakness.
Alexander found a comfortable position to stand, tilting his head and seriously staring at her, "Now you have two choices: either you confess voluntarily, or I investigate myself. You know, even if I investigate myself, it will only take a few minutes to find out. By then..."
"I went to the office building."
Victoria knew she had to say it, so she immediately spoke up.
She didn't want to be threatened by him anymore.
Alexander looked at her seriously, "You went to the office building? For what?"
Victoria's heart tightened, and then she looked up, carefully observing his expression. He seemed...
"Shoure asked me for an urgent email, which was on my office computer."
"Hold on."
Alexander immediately took out his phone, making a call while seriously scrutinizing her.
