Chapter 439 He's Really Bad
When Olivia called Victoria, Victoria invited Olivia over to her place for drinks.
Olivia sat in front of her dining table, somewhat awkwardly reminding Victoria, "Alexander tells me not to drink with you anymore."
"Do you have to listen to him? Why should you listen to him?" Victoria retorted.
"Well, then, shall we have a drink?" Olivia asked.
"Must," Victoria replied.
After they had been drinking for an hour, Victoria was a bit drunk and boldly said, "If Alexander dares to cause you trouble, I'll help you beat him up."
When Olivia arrived, Victoria had already had some drinks. Olivia glanced at the stove and saw a few different bottles, sighing inwardly.
However, Victoria, with her hand on her forehead, said somewhat disconsolately, "Alexander is not good. Alexander is really bad."
"What's wrong with Alexander?" Olivia asked.
"Everything is wrong," Victoria said very seriously.
Olivia couldn't help but frown, then inadvertently raised her eyes. 'How does Alexander get here?'
He subtly gestured for her not to alert Victoria. Olivia stayed quiet, and Alexander stood behind them for a while before heading back to the living room.
"I fell in love with him at first sight at the airport," Victoria said to Olivia, holding Victoria's glass.
"So that's how it is. shall we talk about it another day?" Olivia wasn't sure if she wanted Alexander to hear these words, not daring to say more.
"Don't go. Olivia, don't leave. Don't leave me alone," Victoria leaned over to hold her hand, pleading pitifully.
Seeing her so pitiful with red eyes, Olivia couldn't help but feel a bit teary-eyed as well. Olivia looked outside and thought, 'Forget it. Let's calm Victoria down first. With such a pitiful plea, I can't leave.'
Victoria moved her chair to sit next to Olivia, leaning on her arm and complaining, "Since he doesn't like me, why does he marry me? Yeah, why does he do it? I saw him at the airport at that time. Seeing how handsome he is, I can't see anyone else after just one glance. My eyes and heart filled with him. But do you know? In fact, I think he likes me too. He's been secretly watching me when I've noticed."
Olivia thought to herself, 'I don't know why Alexander has such a flirtatious side.'
"But right after we got married, he left. He was gone for two years. What business takes two years? On Grandpa's birthday, he was so impatient to ask me to go upstairs to sign the divorce agreement, bastard," Although Victoria was talking to Olivia, Olivia felt like she was talking to herself.
Olivia thought that she probably hadn't resolved this inner conflict.
"But then he didn't want a divorce anymore. I thought he fell in love with me. But he said he didn't. He sneaks into my bed in the middle of the night, and he also lets that bad woman, Isabella, come over whenever she wants. Is he a scumbag? Is he a jerk?" Victoria asked.
"He doesn't admit to loving me but says he only wants to sleep with me if he likes me. He doesn't admit to loving Isabella, but he sneaks off to her in the middle of the night. You tell me, is he one of those men who don't admit, don't deny, don't want to take responsibility, always ready to play and then leave, a big scumbag, right?" Victoria asked again.
Olivia couldn't help but furrow, thinking, 'According to Victoria, Alexander is indeed too terrible.
Alexander was twenty-eight years old. Shouldn't he be more articulate and expressive in matters of the heart by now?
Olivia looked outside and sighed inwardly.
She wondered, 'If intelligent men have lower emotional intelligence. Unlike women like them, who can be both intelligent and emotionally intelligent.'
Victoria said, "Today Isabella played dead in front of us, and he actually said to me, 'What if it's real?' Is he leaving a way out for himself and Isabella to be together in the future? Does he think I can't see through it?"
Victoria added, "I'm five years younger than him, but I'm not a fool."
