Chapter 927 Two Women Fighting Over One Man

"Alexander, Victoria's back isn't in great shape; she might not be able to take good care of you. How about I go with you?"

Diana suddenly raised her hand and suggested.

Victoria's gaze finally shifted from Alexander's hand to Diana, who was giving her a wink, hinting at some unknown scheme."You don't have time."

Immediately, Diana heard Alexander's voice in her head."Why don't I have time?"

Diana withdrew her hand, questioning.

Alexander turned his head, his voice brooking no opposition: "You just don't have time."

Diana's heart inexplicably skipped a beat, and then she exchanged a meaningful glance with Victoria. Victoria immediately grasped the situation and quickly signaled with her eyes that she hadn't mentioned that matter.

Diana frowned even more, wondering how Alexander knew if Victoria truly hadn't said anything. Adrian leaned over to Diana's ear, "Diana, did you get caught doing something bad?"

"Get lost," Diana whispered.

Adrian chuckled and said no more.

He couldn't help but glance at Victoria, who was diagonally opposite. Victoria was very picky about her food. Seeing a dish she liked, he instinctively mentioned, "It's your favorite dish, eat more."

The table, crowded with people, suddenly fell silent.

Alexander glanced at the dish that had just been served and immediately placed it in front of Victoria. "Here, Adrian says you should eat more."

Victoria was extremely embarrassed, wishing she could turn around and leave immediately.

Adrian realized he had spoken out of turn, but then thought, what was wrong with showing some concern for Victoria?

The elders remained silent, each with their thoughts.

Diana felt the tension in the air, almost as if a fight was about to break out. She even wanted to see some action.

She suddenly thought of Curtis, who was sitting behind another woman, and felt a pang of jealousy, unable to enjoy the spectacle any longer.

After dinner, Alexander held Strawberry and turned to look at Victoria, who was talking to the elders, "Let's go."

"Okay."

Victoria quickly agreed.

She was especially happy thinking she could sleep with Strawberry tonight.

But as soon as the three of them stepped out the door, Diana drove up in Alexander's Ferrari. "Alexander, I'm borrowing your car tonight."

"Be careful."

Alexander only gave this one instruction.

Diana waved and quickly disappeared.

Victoria thought, 'According to Diana, Professor Curtis thought Diana was too stressed out as a rich girl and didn't want her, yet Diana drove a luxury car to see him. Sure enough, the Harrington family members were unique.

"What kind of person is Curtis?" Alexander suddenly asked.

Victoria snapped back to reality, looking at Alexander in confusion.

"We'll talk in the car."

Alexander mentioned as he walked ahead.

But before he reached the car, he stopped. Victoria saw him stop and asked, "Why did you stop?"

"I made a mistake."

Alexander continued walking forward in disappointment.

Every time Victoria saw his despondent look because he couldn't see clearly, it broke her heart.

Although she could be heartless and ignore him, it didn't mean she wasn't worried about him.

He was a very proud person. Stumbling in front of his family was already enough to sadden him. If it happened outside, it would be utterly humiliating for him.

After leaving the Harrington Mansion, Victoria received a message from Diana: [I'm going to seduce Curtis first, and I'll help you teach Alexander a lesson when I have time.]

Victoria chuckled at the message, especially at the shushing emoji Diana added at the end.

Was Diana starting to take her side?

Victoria put away her phone, her gaze softening as she looked ahead.

Alexander, holding Strawberry in the back seat, noticed Victoria seemed very happy. He wondered who had sent her the message that made her so happy, but he would find out eventually.

Diana parked the car, slung her nearly $300,000 designer bag over her shoulder, and hummed a tune as she walked into the building. She happened to run into Juliette Parker, the woman who had given Curtis a ride last time, coming out.

Diana's expression immediately darkened, her eyes fixed on Juliette.

Juliette was momentarily stunned upon seeing her, then politely nodded and walked away.

Diana instinctively glanced inside.

This neighborhood wasn't the luxurious ones in the city center; it was modest, with just two apartments facing each other.

She walked over with unsteady steps, feeling more and more despondent.

It was already eleven o'clock, and Juliette had just left Curtis's place. Her rosy complexion suggested things had gotten a little heated. As for Curtis, she hoped he wasn't as unable to control his desires as she feared. Diana pushed open her door and went inside.

But it was stiflingly hot inside, and Diana's mood worsened. Thinking it over, she immediately dragged a suitcase into the master bedroom.

The suitcase was full of sexy lingerie.

Didn't Curtis think she was too promiscuous?

Well, she would show him just how promiscuous she could be.

Diana thought as she threw down her bag and undressed to take a shower.

Around midnight, the doorbell across the hall rang.

Standing 6 feet tall, with a good build, and wearing simple cotton pajamas, Curtis opened the door.

He looked at Diana's seductive figure, dressed in sexy lingerie and leaning against the doorframe, with bunny ears on her head and a sultry look in her eyes. "Hey, handsome, need some company?"

"You live here?"

"Yes."

"Is this a coincidence?"

Curtis asked Diana seriously.

Diana shook her head with a smile, indicating it wasn't a coincidence.

Curtis immediately shut the door.

Hearing the heavy door slam, Diana felt her pride sting, but she quickly stood up straight, hands on her hips, and shouted, "Curtis, if you have the guts, stay out of my bed for good."

After shouting, Diana felt it wasn't enough. She turned back to stare at the closed door. "I hate you. Don't think I'm still pining for you. I just want to see when you'll break up with your colleague. What a joke, true love."

But he probably couldn't hear her.

Diana had felt deeply wronged in this relationship. Now, looking at the closed door, she couldn't hold back her tears. A gust of wind blew, and her tears fell. She retreated inside and slammed the door shut.

The two doors felt like an unyielding barrier, keeping them apart. She had always been very proud.

She didn't dare reveal she was from the Harrington family, fearing Curtis would find her hard to date.

They had been dating for a while, but why did Curtis dump her as soon as he found out about her background and quickly find another woman, claiming she was the type he wanted to marry?

Shouldn't the type he marries be someone he loves?

Diana returned to her room and started crying. When her phone rang, she quickly wiped her tears and picked it up.

She thought it might be Curtis.

It was as if she had been waiting endlessly, day and night, for him to call and say he missed her, that he was sorry for hurting her, but it wasn't Curitis' call.

She answered the call, unable to stop crying, "Alexander!"

"What happened?" Alexander asked worriedly.

"He bullied me, Alexander."

"Wait there, I'm coming over."

The voice on the other end was firm.

Diana was still in tears when she suddenly sensed that something was wrong. Did Alexander mention that he was coming over? What was Alexander coming over for?

She quickly called Alexander back.

"Alexander, don't come over."

Diana expressed through her tears.

Alexander sternly reminded her, "Diana, no one can bully a member of the Harrington family, understand?"
