Chapter 946 Sometimes I Get a Splitting Headache from Overthinking Your Words
"I'm really fine."
Victoria felt that Alexander was exaggerating things a bit, so she quickly explained in a low voice.
Hearing Victoria's explanation, Alexander, though unhappy, said nothing more.
Before dinner, Victoria went to wash her hands. Alexander closed the door, grabbed her slender waist from behind, and whispered in her ear, "Say that to me tonight as well. Don't cry out in pain every time I touch you."
Victoria blushed deeply, thinking, 'Why is he still like this? With so many people at home, he followed me to the bathroom to say such things.'
There were two knocks on the door.
Victoria instantly tensed up and looked outside, trying to avoid his hands. But Alexander held her tightly in his arms, not letting her move. He glanced at the door and whispered, "Diana is just playing around."
Victoria was a bit surprised, thinking Diana really liked to play. After a moment, she reminded him, "Don't be so harsh in front of the elders."
"What's wrong?" Alexander asked.
"They're all scared of you," Victoria replied.
"I'm scared, too. What if Diana presses on you and breaks your waist again..." He continued.
"That won't happen." Victoria didn't understand why Alexander stopped, but she felt Diana wouldn't be that inconsiderate.
"If your waist breaks, you won't be able to leave." When he said this, he suddenly seemed a bit sad.
Victoria said nothing. Soon, there were two more knocks on the door, and Victoria lowered her head and slowly smiled.
Alexander sighed helplessly, but seeing her smile, he couldn't help but kiss her on the cheek.
Victoria came to her senses, kept some distance from him, and looked at him.
"What do I have to do to get a smile from you?" He murmured, feeling sad.
"Let Strawberry stay with me, and I will smile." She said seriously.
"Do you know how silly you are?" He asked.
"What?"
Victoria thought, 'You just said you wanted to see me smile, and now you're calling me silly? It's a wonder I could smile.'
"Do you really think I went to all this trouble just to keep Strawberry?" Alexander retorted.
Victoria thought about what she heard when she was pinned to the ground. If he wasn't trying to keep Strawberry, then what was it for? To keep her?
That would be too ridiculous.
"Children are the glue of a marriage, remember?" Alexander said.
"I'm hungry." Victoria ignored him.
"Tori." He insisted.
She wanted to avoid the topic, but he turned her around, cupped her face, and made her look at him. He seriously asked her, "Do you still not believe me? Everything I do, good or bad, is for you."
"Please don't say that." She stopped him.
"Why?" He was puzzled.
"Sometimes, your words make me overthink until my head hurts." Victoria calmly told him this.
Alexander was silent for a moment, then softly asked her, "How should I understand that? Do I have a big impact on you?"
Victoria's lips were a bit dry.
She didn't know how to answer Alexander.
Alexander, as the only man in her life, didn't need to doubt his influence.
If she didn't care about him, she wouldn't be in such a miserable state today.
Alexander adjusted her face, wanting to see her expression.
Victoria helplessly met his gaze, "Yes."
In less than three seconds, Alexander suddenly smiled.
Her admission was already a great joy for Alexander.
He forgot to restrain himself and kissed her passionately.
Victoria turned her head to avoid his lips, only murmuring, "This isn't a good thing."
"What?"
