Chapter 431 That Silly Woman

Victoria was stunned, reacting quickly only to his last statement.

"This time, I captured the whole process," Alexander said.

"What?" Victoria's beautiful eyes looked at him, both clear and gentle, as she questioned him directly.

Alexander was still holding her hand, then he leaned to the side, took his phone from the pillow beside him, and brought it closer to her.

Victoria didn't move because she knew she had to look at the phone.

He placed the phone on the bed and played the video. It showed a man proposing, and the silly woman in the video... could that really be her?

The man knelt in front of her and said, "Will you marry me?" And then she...

Was that woman drunk?

Why was she still speaking so softly?

Victoria thought, ‘Yes, I do?’

They even kissed. She heard voices and saw many familiar faces. Did they kiss in front of so many people?

And it seemed...

Victoria couldn't help but keep staring at the phone. Then, her head lowered more and more.

'Why do I seem to see that idiot kiss him back? And that idiot even said I loved him!'

This video was obviously edited, but she didn't notice. She just saw that idiot actually publicly say she loved him.

'Damn it. What's going on? How could this happen? I drink the alcohol that Olivia ordered, a yellow, not very strong wine. So, what's going on?' Victoria thought.

"No, you have to delete it quickly," Victoria said and immediately picked up his phone.

"Hey." Alexander heard she wanted to delete it and quickly pounced.

"Ouch, that hurts," Victoria protested as she fell back on the bed with Alexander on top of her.

"You wouldn't dare delete it," he challenged.

He even planned to play it at the wedding.

"I must delete it," Victoria said.

"You delete it," Alexander remarked.

"You get up first," Victoria reminded.

"I won't get up," Alexander retorted.

"Then how do I delete it?" Victoria asked.

The two of them held each other for a while, then Alexander suddenly smiled. "That's your business."

"Alexander, you're being unreasonable. Get off me, you're crushing me," Victoria complained, pushing him with one hand.

One hand couldn't move him at all; Victoria squinted, and both hands went to push.

"No," Victoria shouted.

Then, immediately, he snatched the phone from her hand.

Victoria panicked instantly, wanting to find it again, but it had been thrown somewhere she didn't know, and then her wrists were held by him, forcefully pressed against her ear.

Victoria gasped. "Let go of me."

"After the proposal, there's a wedding to plan," Alexander said, causing her heart to race even faster.

She wouldn't have a wedding with him.

"Don't be angry about last night, and I'll propose to you again another day, okay?" Alexander said.

'Is there another time? Spare her, okay! Do we need to propose three times? And I don't care.

What does he do to that person? Why doesn't he mention a word? Does he really forgive Isabella and let that person go? Is the Alexander in front of her really Alexander?' Victoria thought.

"Why are you crying?" Alexander saw her eyes gradually reddening, his heart clenched.

"Alexander, you're shameless, despicable, a liar," her stifled, hoarse voice, word by word, though difficult, still came out.

"What did I lie to you about?" Alexander softly asked her, cupping her face to wipe her tears away.

Victoria hated him wiping her tears; his hand was particularly warm, but this warmth didn't belong to her.

Since he came back, she no longer had half a hope for herself, but why did he keep provoking her again and again and making it known to everyone?
