Chapter 597 Don't Act Pitiful
Alexander looked at her coldly and said indifferently, "A dream? I'd rather never have had this dream."
Victoria remained calm as she asked, "But it's all over, isn't it?"
"Victoria, I don't plan to end things with you like this."
"What?" Victoria was taken aback.
He had just said he would let her go after Eloise fell asleep. But now he said he didn't plan to end it like this. Victoria wondered what he wanted.
Alexander replied, "I plan to do something to you first."
"What?" Victoria felt alarm bells ringing in her heart, her breathing becoming weak.
Alexander's gaze moved from her eyes to her lips, then glanced at her chest.
His eyes were not lustful; instead, they seemed very indifferent.
"As a couple, I'll give you something real." Alexander was very serious and seemed considerate of her.
For a few seconds, Victoria's thoughts went astray, but when he said he would give her something real, she calmed down and curiously asked, "What do you mean by something real?"
She thought, 'He won't give me jewelry or a house again, will he? I really don't need those. But if he wants to give them, of course, I will take them. It will make him feel better. And maybe I can use the money to do something meaningful.'
As that thought occured, Victoria decided to accept his kindness.
However, Alexander replied, "A child."
"What?" Victoria doubted her ears.
But he smiled, then suddenly became very serious, "I'll give you a child."
Victoria was stunned. Now she suspected it was his brain that had a problem, not her ears.
Alexander suddenly lowered his head to kiss her. Just as Victoria was about to struggle, he immediately held her hands above her head.
She let out a groan, but his kiss then swallowed all her sound.
Alexander felt like he was going crazy. Victoria actually wanted to escape while Eloise was asleep.
Of course, she could escape, but she didn't consider his feelings at all.
Thinking that she didn't consider him at all, Alexander couldn't help but kiss her more fiercely.
Victoria felt pain, thinking her mouth was going to be chewed up by him.
Some undefinable time later, his forceful kiss finally left her lips.
Victoria looked at him with tear-filled eyes full of resentment. Alexander glanced at her and was about to kiss her again.
She turned her head to avoid him, but his kiss landed on her jaw.
Victoria immediately turned her head forcefully again, then quickly regretted it.
His kisses fell continuously on her neck, each one deeper than the last.
Victoria was almost out of breath from his sucking, but she couldn't break free. However...
"Alexander, it hurts. Can you stop for a moment? I think my wound is opening up." She began to humbly negotiate with him.
Alexander suddenly stopped and immediately let go of her, turning her over into his arms in one swift motion, seriously lowering his head to check her wound.
It was covered by her hair, but it didn't look too bad.
Alexander's tense heart relaxed, but thinking he might have really hurt her, he worriedly asked, "Does it still hurt?"
"Yes." Her forehead was in his chest, her voice muffled but very firm.
Alexander lay back down, silently lifting her face.
Victoria's eyes were still filled with tears. "You..."
Before she could speak, he kissed her again.
Holding the back of her neck, he murmured, "Don't act pitiful with me; I won't be able to resist."
Victoria immediately dared not act pitiful anymore.
Alexander felt she didn't really understand men. Men might get annoyed seeing women cry, but the reasons for the annoyance varied.
Some were out of dislike, while others were out of affection.
He was the latter.
Alexander saw she didn't dare provoke him anymore, so he smiled and leaned close to her, pressing his forehead against hers and whispering, "Do you want a child?"
"No, no." Victoria was so scared she stuttered.
She was supposed to be sent away in the middle of the night. She still thought Alexander would send her away.
Alexander said, "Not now, but eventually."
"What?" Victoria was dumbfounded, her voice hoarse.
She thought, 'What does he mean by eventually?'
"We'll have one later, and even Benjamin and Tessa will have one," he murmured, then kissed her on the lips again.
Victoria wondered if her brain was broken. She couldn't understand what he was saying.
"Will you still help me escape? After everyone falls asleep?" she asked.
Alexander didn't respond.
"Alexander, you promised me," she whispered, her voice very light.
It was so quiet around, so quiet it made her uneasy, and she didn't dare speak loudly.
"As long as you take it with you." He held her hand and placed it on his chest.
Victoria still wanted to pull away, but this time, he held her wrist tightly, not letting her go, and in a low voice, he slowly said, "Take it anywhere you want."
"Alexander, you can't do this. You..."
"Then what should I do?" Alexander kissed her on the lips again, asking her in a hoarse voice.
"Will you let me go or not?" She didn't dare think about anything else and just wanted to clarify this one thing.
"Would you be disappointed if I said no?" he asked.
Victoria nodded. "Yes."
"Then no." He kissed her again, holding the back of her head, kissing her forcefully. And his tongue quickly occupied her mouth.
Victoria felt like she was suspended in mid-air, teetering.
She wanted to push him away, but his body didn't move at all, holding her firmly and kissing her until she almost lost her mind, yet he didn't hurt her wound.
He wanted her, desperately wanting her.
He didn't want to wait for the wedding anymore; he didn't want any more accidents.
Victoria suddenly stopped saying anything, just cried.
Alexander slowly let her go, unable to help but complain, "We've been married for three years."
"But you haven't fulfilled your duties as a husband in this marriage." She cried, sobbing, speaking intermittently.
"Aren't I fulfilling my duties as a husband now?" Alexander questioned.
"That's not what I meant." Victoria shed more tears.
Alexander immediately felt dissatisfied. "If you don't let me fulfill even the most basic duties, how can I fulfill anything else?"
She cried, her chin trembling as she spoke to him, "Alexander, you're bullying me."
Alexander frowned deeply, suspecting she was acting again.
"Alright. What else can you do besides cry?" Alexander suddenly asked in annoyance, then kissed her again. Victoria only felt her vision blocked and instinctively raised her hand.
Alexander groaned in pain immediately beside her ear.
Victoria's hand was still by his face, suddenly not daring to move.
The light was dim, and her eyelashes were wet with tears, making it hard to see anything, but she felt like her nails might have...
Victoria quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
Alexander complained, "What's the use of saying sorry?"
