Chapter 622 Beat Her to A Pulp
"Adrian, let her go." Alexander's deep voice echoed, full of patience yet undeniably authoritative.
Adrian instinctively released Victoria upon hearing the voice but immediately turned to him. "Why did you let Victoria get hurt again?"
Seated nearby, Olivia couldn't help but admire Adrian's audacity. He dared to ask anything, even pushing the blame onto Alexander.
Alexander, however, remained cold and indifferent, only asking, "Did I make her get hurt?"
Olivia refrained from lifting her gaze to meet Alexander's eyes, sensing that his current expression could possess a lethal intensity capable of extinguishing someone without a trace.
"Ever since you came back from out of town, she has been getting hurt constantly," Adrian stood up and spoke earnestly to him.
In Adrian's mind, all the pain Victoria endured later came from Alexander.
Alexander, however, smiled faintly, "It's not your place to question me on her behalf."
"What?" Adrian suddenly deflated.
Not his place? But he had always liked Victoria.
Alexander approached Victoria and glanced at Olivia, asking, "Have you finished discussing your matters?"
"Yes," Olivia instinctively replied. She didn't dare to argue.
Only then did Alexander pull Victoria up and say, "Get up; we're leaving."
Victoria glanced at Alexander; though puzzled, she didn't ask anything.
Their issues would be discussed when they were alone.
However, his holding her hand was as natural as ever.
Alexander guided Victoria into the elevator, and it was only then that she subtly withdrew her hand from his grip.
"You don't want me to touch you?" Alexander immediately questioned, displeased.
"Why are you so harsh?" Victoria asked him, puzzled.
"No man would remain indifferent seeing his wife being held by another man. You can have a million thoughts of leaving me, even a billion, but until you leave, you must dutifully fulfill your duties as my wife."
"What duties?" Victoria didn't know what he meant by duties, so she asked directly.
Alexander said, "Don't flirt with other men, and don't let them touch you."
Victoria fell silent. Though angry, she didn't want to say more.
So, in his mind, she was just a woman who flirted with other men.
"Give me your hand." Alexander suddenly demanded again.
Victoria looked at the attractive hand extended in front of her but suddenly crossed her arms to hide her hands.
She didn't speak out in defiance, but that didn't mean she had no temper.
"Did I wrong you?" Alexander was extremely jealous at the thought of her being so patient with Adrian and not showing any resistance.
Even though Victoria harbored resistance, her facial expression clearly conveyed her discomfort with the situation. She was on the verge of pushing Adrian's hand away when Alexander suddenly approached.
So, she didn't have time to do anything and was then accused of such a crime. The crime of flirting with another man.
Victoria felt wronged but remained silent.
Alexander suddenly turned around. "Fine, you can continue to stay silent."
Catching a glimpse of him approaching from her peripheral vision, Victoria instinctively took a step back.
A loud bang sounded.
She couldn't tell if it was the sound in her heart or the sound of the elevator wall being hit.
He had both hands on the elevator walls beside her shoulders, trapping her in that small triangular space.
"Don't cry out in pain later," he said in a deep voice.
At that moment, her temples throbbed, but she reflexively looked up at him.
In an instant, Alexander leaned in to kiss her, but Victoria swiftly reacted, pressing both hands against his mouth before he could make contact.
This time, she actually managed to stop him.
Victoria felt a bit triumphant, but before she could enjoy it, her eyes turned red with discomfort.
His breath made her palms feel hot.
Victoria accidentally met his eyes, and her hands covering his mouth suddenly loosened a bit.
However, before she could retract her hands, Alexander impatiently seized her wrists and raised them above her head, proceeding to kiss her passionately.
It was more like a bite than a kiss. Because it really hurt.
Victoria had just let out a sound when he immediately filled her mouth.
It was all his breath and his saliva.
Alexander's painful groan came out in less than a minute.
Victoria did it on purpose, taking advantage of his unpreparedness to bite his tongue.
He always kissed her so forcefully without considering her feelings.
But she didn't expect that after biting him, he would kiss her even more intensely, making it harder for her to breathe.
Not only did he not let go of her, but he also kissed her deeper, even biting her inner lip when she resisted.
Victoria immediately tilted her head back in pain, her mouth forced open for him to ravage.
Victoria persisted in her struggle, pushing against him until she heard the chime of the elevator's arrival. In that moment, she abruptly retreated into his arms, becoming motionless and still.
Alexander felt her sudden compliance and his mood improved, making him kiss her even more firmly.
Victoria couldn't breathe, and when he kissed the corner of her mouth, she finally had the strength to turn her head slightly and murmur, "The elevator is open."
"Let it be open," he said, continuing to kiss the corner of her mouth and her neck.
He didn't seem to care about being seen at all.
Of course, the boss's private elevator generally wouldn't have others coming to look.
"Alexander?" A familiar voice suddenly came from outside.
Only then did Alexander have to stop, turning his head with a frown.
Benjamin had already tactfully looked away and said, "There's a fight outside; you might want to check it out."
A fight at the entrance of the Frosty Summit Hotel?
Alexander looked at the woman he had cornered, "Do you want to see?"
"Yes." Victoria quickly nodded.
Alexander said nothing more, looking at her swollen lips from his biting, then raised his hand.
This time, Victoria obediently placed her hand in his palm without a word.
Alexander's eyes flashed with surprise, but he immediately held her hand tightly and lowered it.
Then his face gradually showed a bit of pride.
As they walked out, she secretly wiped the corners of her mouth, all wet from his doing.
Benjamin was still looking outside. "I have a client upstairs, I'll go meet them. You two go check it out yourselves."
Benjamin used the boss's private elevator and immediately closed the door after entering.
Victoria hid behind Alexander, wiping her chin. Turning to face her flushed countenance, Alexander inquired, "What are you doing?"
"What do you think?" Victoria rolled her eyes.
Benjamin must have seen everything. His friends already thought she couldn't resist Alexander.
Alexander didn't say much, just held her hand and walked out.
A fight at the entrance of the Frosty Summit Hotel was quite unseemly, and no one was managing it.
"Beat her to a pulp; she's a homewrecker; we don't need to be polite." A wealthy woman at the entrance, arms crossed, was fiercely commanding.
"Why do you say I'm a homewrecker? The unloved one is the homewrecker."
"How dare you talk back? Keep beating," The wealthy woman shouted again, but when she saw Alexander, she suddenly put her hands down nervously.
