Chapter 950 Take Your Pajamas Away
Diana muttered distractedly, then leaned over to gently place the bowl down and stood up, "Thanks for the jello, I'm leaving."
"Diana, what's going on with you?"
Curtis was sitting there holding the jello, but he asked her seriously.
Diana smiled upon hearing this and said, "I just feel pretty pathetic. Even though you've rejected me, I shamelessly keep coming to you. Juliette, Leah, but not me."
After saying this, Diana felt even more pathetic and picked up her bag to leave.
"Finish the jello before you go." He said.
Diana, with her bag on her back, looked down at him. "I don't want to eat."
"Do you think I have a lot of free time?" He continued.
Diana was stunned.
What did he mean by that?
How would she know if he had free time?
But he did have time to make jello.
No, that wasn't the direction his question was going.
"Isn't Andre pretty good at making you happy?"
Curtis suddenly asked.
Diana looked down at him and thought, 'Andre? Alright, I almost forgot about Andre. Wait, what's Curtis's expression now?'
"Andre is pretty good."
She suddenly felt a bit more confident.
"Then why aren't you happy?" Curtis asked her.
Diana felt a bit better, sat back down, and leaned over to pick up the jello she had just put down.
The moment he mentioned Andre, she inexplicably felt happy, scooped a big spoonful of jello into her mouth; it was sweet and sour, cool and smooth.
She glanced at Curtis, who was also eating jello, and suddenly asked, "Is there more?"
"Yeah, finish this and I'll get you more." He replied.
"Okay." Diana agreed and continued eating.
Curtis looked at her, "Don't want to go home?"
"Yes, but also kind of do." Diana instinctively answered, then thought for a moment and quickly added.
Curtis asked her, "Can Andre really make you happy?"
"He can." She nodded, finished the last bit, and handed him the bowl. "Thanks, please get me another bowl."
Curtis gave her a slightly unhappy look but took her bowl to get more.
After Diana was full, she asked, "Are you free this weekend?"
"What do you want to do?" He asked.
"It's my niece's birthday. How about I take you out for a big meal?" She claimed.
"There's a school event I need to attend." He said.
"Alright." Diana understood from his expression that he was resistant.
He wouldn't lose his temper, but his expression said it all.
Diana looked at the bowl she had used on the table. "Do you need me to wash the dishes?"
"No need." He replied.
"Goodnight then," Diana said, then picked up her bag again, this time really intending to leave.
Just as Diana reached the door, she was called back. Curtis was sitting on the sofa, leaning back, lightly tapping the armrest, and asked her, "Diana, did you leave something here?"
She turned back, "What?" She really couldn't remember.
"I found two pieces of women's pajamas in my closet," Curtis said calmly.
Diana's expression changed, and she immediately remembered the pajamas she had secretly placed in his closet, but she deliberately asked, "Are you sure it wasn't left by one of your ex-girlfriends?"
"I'm only sure that it's your taste." He answered.
Diana was caught, feeling guilty and saying nothing.
"Go take them." Curtis reminded.
"Curtis, those really aren't mine." She quibbled.
"So, which of my ex-girlfriends could wear them?" Curtis asked again.
Hearing this, Diana immediately strode towards his bedroom.
If he dared to let another woman wear her clothes, she'd be ready to go to war over it. After she entered the bedroom, Curtis got up unhurriedly and followed.
