Chapter 478 You Broke Your Promise, Alexander

"This soup can increase libido," Alexander added amusingly.

Victoria's mind suddenly went blank, and she stared dumbfounded at the empty bowl.

Alexander laughed. "Why do you look so pale all of a sudden?"

Not in the mood to jest, Victoria glanced at him worriedly.

She remembered what he said on their first night back in town and was so scared she almost asked, "What should I do? I drank it all."

"Mr. Harrington, you should drink it too. I can't stand here bothering you all night," Erica reminded him.

'Couples are so happy in bed. Having someone else here is really an eyesore,' Erica thought.

"Got it," Alexander responded casually and then actually drank it.

Victoria was stunned.

"Get some rest." After drinking, Alexander returned both bowls to Erica and said.

Erica immediately left.

After the door closed, Victoria weakly asked, "What can we do now?"

"What do you mean?" Alexander asked.

"Should we induce vomiting?" Victoria advised.

Alexander's narrow eyes held a smile. He thought, 'I don't want to vomit. But want to ravish this silly little thing beneath me.'

Seeing her so scared, he knew she must be thinking about their first night back together.

He couldn't help but wonder, 'What if I had consummated their relationship that night instead of giving her the divorce papers?'

Victoria didn't know what he was thinking, but she felt he was dangerous and immediately got out of bed.

Hearing the commotion, Alexander also got out of bed and quickly reached the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Alexander asked.

"I can't throw up." Victoria was about to cry.

"Idiot, why would you throw up? It's just a nutritious ingredient, good for your body," Alexander explained.

"Isn't it an aphrodisiac?" Victoria asked, trembling.

Seeing her teary and silly expression, Alexander couldn't stay serious. He laughed and sighed. "No, it's not."

"Oh, I see." She lowered her eyes and mumbled.

Since they had already brushed their teeth earlier, Alexander opened two bottles of mouthwash, as the soup really didn't taste good.

After rinsing their mouths, Victoria suddenly examined the bottle of mouthwash closely.

Alexander asked her, "What are you looking at?"

"It tastes like lemon," Victoria mumbled, then found the answer she was looking for and seriously looked at the brand.

"Do you like this flavor?" Alexander asked again.

"Yeah, it's nice. Next time..." Victoria said.

Knowing the soup wasn't an aphrodisiac, Victoria relaxed and smiled, then looked up.

Her smile quickly faded.

Alexander, who was about eight inches taller than her, stared at her intensely, making her feel so embarrassed thatshe would find a hole to hide in her heart.

He cupped her face as she lowered her eyes and tried to depart. "Let me taste how good it is."

Victoria's mind went blank.

Because he was already kissing her, his tongue exploring her lips and teeth.

When his tongue touched hers, her mind went completely blank, as if filled with white cotton, even feeling a bit swollen.

She remembered him claiming the soup wasn't an aphrodisiac, so when she enjoyed his actions, she told herself, 'Be rational; don't be swayed by him.'

Her hands swiftly traveled from his chest to his shoulders to push him away.

But within moments, she couldn't push him away, and her legs went weak.

She clung to his firm waist, his kisses growing more intense.

Soon, his arm wrapped around her slender waist, lifting her.

He said in a hoarse voice, "Back to bed."

Victoria blushed deeply. The words were so suggestive that her mind raced.

His past actions told her what he wanted, and her blood was racing before he touched her.

"Alexander, don't do this," she shouted fearfully as Alexander quickly pinned her to the bed.

"We're getting married in just over a month," Alexander said.

"That doesn't matter," Victoria resisted.

Were they going to have the wedding ceremony, right?

But everything was still unclear.

He pledged to stop treating Isabella well. She couldn't sleep with him because he broke his vow.

"Do you really want to wait until then?" He had thought about holding back, but he wasn't sure he could.

Every night in bed with her, no, every minute and every second, he wanted to conquer her.

"Even then, it won't be okay," Victoria said.

"Why?" Alexander puzzled.

"You broke your promise, Alexander," Victoria reminded him, looking at his furrowed brow, then immediately lowered her eyes.

"Breaking my promise?" Alexander was stunned.

"You promised me that once we were together, you wouldn't be good to her anymore, but today..." Victoria added.

"What?" He was taken aback.

"Was that bottle of perfume meant for her?" Victoria asked again.

Alexander's expression suddenly turned cold.

"Or was it because of the gossip about me and Adrian, so you used the perfume on me?" Seeing him not refute, she immediately guessed again.

She wanted to speak her mind directly.

She didn't want to hide her feelings anymore.

She also hoped he would be honest with her.

"I deliberately sprayed it in the car, but..." Alexander wanted to explain.

"Alexander, do you know what you should do right now?" Victoria interrupted.

"What?" Alexander was interrupted before he could finish and looked at her in confusion.

"You should get off me," Victoria said, starting to push him again.

In the next second, he easily pinned her wrists above her head.

They stared at each other, Victoria angry, but the man controlling her was calm and unhurried.

Meanwhile, in another room, there came the conversation.

"The moment Alexander came back tonight, I smelled a familiar perfume. I didn't ask because Victoria was there, but it smelled like Isabella's." Arabella lay in bed, flipping through a book, and said to Maximus, who had just finished shower.

"Now that you mention it, I think I smelled it too. But how do you know it's Isabella's scent?" Maximus asked.

"She always sprays such strong perfume on herself. I've seen her more than once; of course, I know," Arabella explained unhappily.

'What does Isabella want? Does she really want to ruin Alexander and Victoria's marriage?' Arabella thought.

No wonder Victoria always seemed hesitant to speak. Victoria must be afraid to complain to her.

Arabella was straightforward, so when she knew Adrian liked Victoria, she told Victoria to avoid seeing Adrian. But she forgot, it wasn't Victoria's fault.

When someone likes another person, they can't help but seek them out.

Arabella suddenly put down her book and mumbled as she lay down, "So annoying."

This made Maximus wary since he hadn't laid down.

"It's just their business. Let's observe changes quietly," Maximus said softly.

"I wonder if the soup Mom made for them is working yet?" Arabella muttered.

"What?" Maximus was sunned.
