Chapter 915 Cause of the Accident

"Rushing to serve other men, do you have any shame at all?"

Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice interrupted what Victoria was about to say.

Victoria looked up and saw Elliot standing at the door.

Elliot glanced at Victoria indifferently, then looked at Daisy sitting in the wheelchair, "Do you think any man would cherish a promiscuous woman?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Of course, I'm here to take care of you."

Elliot said, walking to Ursa's side, pushing Ursa away, and grabbing the handles behind Daisy's wheelchair. He then turned around, "Sorry to disturb your rest, we'll be leaving now."

Elliot finished speaking and pushed Daisy away.

Daisy looked up at Elliot, recalling his violence that night, and kept her mouth shut.

Ursa, afraid that Daisy would be bullied by Elliot again, quickly followed.

Victoria then slowly closed the door.

Finally, it was quiet again. She turned around and looked at Alexander on the bed.

His initially somber expression gradually brightened, and he spoke softly, "Tori, please come here."

Victoria walked over and stood beside him, "Mr. Harrington, it's better not to call me so intimately, lest people misunderstand."

"We are couples, I want to call you that, and it's none of anyone's business."

Alexander said, reaching out to her.

Victoria knew he wanted to hold her hand, but she was no longer willing to place her hand in his palm.

However, she did bring something with her.

Thinking of this, she put her hand in her pants pocket and slowly placed the item she brought from her villa into his palm.

Alexander's once-gentle expression slowly turned cold. He touched it casually and knew what it was, smiling as he asked her, "Didn't you open it?"

"I'm just returning it to you. Mr. Harrington, you're so smart, you should understand what I mean."

"This was a gift from my mom. If you want to return it, you should return it to her."

"If it was from your mom, why was that ring hidden inside?"

"Because it belongs to her daughter-in-law."

"I don't even know why you're doing this. Don't say you still love me. Even if you do, I don't care for this kind of love."

"Alright."

He replied indifferently, already lying down.

Victoria looked at his back, thought for a moment, then sat down beside him, "I'll find a caregiver for you. Do you want a male or female?"

Alexander didn't respond, and the large room fell silent.

"Then I'll decide."

Victoria said, getting up and walking out.

She used to be his secretary, frequently making decisions on his behalf, and she didn't want to waste time here.

Alexander watched her thin figure walking quickly.

'Is she in a hurry to leave me?'

'She can go find a caregiver, but I want to see who can take care of me.'

'Besides, I'm not immobile. Why will I need a caregiver?'

'She makes it sound like I'm disabled.'

'I've only been in a coma for a few days due to a concussion, with some pain in my body, but it's not serious.'

'Daisy has more external injuries.' Alexander thought.

Victoria had just stepped out when she encountered Ursa before reaching the nurse's station. Ursa was talking to a nurse and immediately called, "Mrs. Harrington, can we talk?"

"It's not necessary."

Victoria replied indifferently, then told the nurse, "Please find a caregiver for Mr. Harrington, a female with good patience."

"Yes."

The nurse agreed and went to find someone.

Ursa listened and quickly caught up with Victoria, "Are you breaking up with Alexander? Daisy said they were holding hands in the car that night."

Victoria stopped and looked at Ursa, "Mrs. Bryant, please don't waste your time on me. I have nothing to say and can't do anything to make you happy."

"But if you are getting a divorce, letting true lovers be together is a good thing, isn't it?"

"Don't you find it funny to say that? Would you find a woman for your husband?"

"Of course not! My husband and I have a good relationship. Why would I find a woman for him?"

"Are you truly sure you and Mr. Bryant have a good relationship?"

Victoria felt she was being mean, saying such things.

Seeing Ursa suddenly looking scared and unsure, she knew her words had worked.

But it was good, so Ursa wouldn't bother her again.

Ursa wanted to return to the ward but heard arguing inside, so she had to stand outside.

"Now that Victoria is back, you still shamelessly run to Alexander. Do you not see yourself as an outsider, or are you promiscuous, unable to be satisfied by one man?"

"What nonsense are you talking about? Elliot, I warn you..."

"Let me warn you instead. Before you give birth to my kid, you'd better behave and stop seducing men. I want my kid's lineage to be pure, understand?"

Elliot bent down, forcefully pinching Daisy's chin to threaten her.

Daisy, having been slapped, didn't dare to say another word.

She suspected Elliot had the potential for domestic violence, or maybe he was already a man who would abuse others.

When she first met Elliot, he seemed like a weak and easily bullied person, but the more she got to know him, he gradually revealed his ture nature.

What should she do?

She was afraid that Elliot would try to control her, this disgusting man.

"So, where did you take Brian?"

Daisy suddenly remembered Brian, who had been missing for a while.

Elliot couldn't help but laugh, "You're smart. I'll return him to you once I'm done with him."

He said, patting her face, then got up and walked towards the door.

Daisy suddenly found him terrifying, even more so than Alexander. He was a complete psychopath.

When the door opened, Elliot saw Ursa but just gave her a cold look and left.

A wealthy woman let her daughter seduce a married man.

Ridiculous.

Elliot knocked on Alexander's door.

Victoria opened it, "Are you looking for Alexander?"

"Yes, I'm here to apologize on behalf of Daisy."

Victoria had heard some things about Elliot from Olivia, glanced at Alexander in the room, and then opened the door.

"Can Alexander still not see clearly?"

Elliot looked seriously at Alexander, waving his hand in front of Alexander's eyes with concern.

Alexander's expression was grim as he said indifferently, "If you have something to say, just say it. I can't see clearly, but I'm not blind."

Elliot quickly withdrew his hand and honestly explained everything about Daisy imitating Victoria at home. He expressed, "I've already driven Brian away, and I should have scared Daisy. But she visited Isabella in prison a few times before. I don't know if they have any secrets."

Victoria stood by the window, and when she heard Elliot mention Isabella, a idea suddenly came to her mind, asking, "Didn't Daisy have a fight with Isabella?"

Elliot and Alexander both looked at Victoria, not expecting her to know so much.

Victoria added, "Was this accident an accident or intentional? Have you investigated it thoroughly?"
