Chapter 584 A Thunder Struck Diagonally Toward Her Side

"Then why don't you just sleep in the guest room?" Victoria asked, walking over with her head down.

"Are you upset because I took a shower outside?" Alexander asked seriously.

Victoria sat on the edge of the bed, looking at him in confusion.

No, she wasn't upset about that.

He really misunderstood her.

She got into bed and was about to cover herself with the blanket. When she tried to pull the blanket, it wouldn't move, so she reminded him, "You're on my blanket."

Alexander immediately got up.

Victoria thought he was angry and about to leave, but to her surprise, he suddenly came around to the front and got into the bed within seconds. "This way, I'm not on it anymore, right?"

Victoria's face blushed, and she immediately tried to turn away, but he suddenly grabbed her hand.

A buzzing sound filled her mind as she felt a warm breath getting closer. Her arm ended up on his waist, and he pressed against her, whispering seriously, "Be careful not to touch the wound."

Before she could react, he already placed his lips on hers.

She instinctively parted her lips slightly, intending to speak, but nothing came out, making it easier for him to kiss her.

She wanted to withdraw her hand, but at that moment, it seemed like the easiest place for it was on his waist.

One of his hands held the back of her neck, while the other quickly embraced her back. He continued the kiss gently and tenderly.

Alexander only felt this way with her. He wanted her, not just her body, but her mind and soul, with an intense longing.

With her mind dizzy from the kiss, Victoria was unable to stop him. She wanted to resist, but he held her firmly, making her very passive.

Then he suddenly lifted her onto him.

Taken aback, Victoria immediately grabbed his shoulders.

Alexander cupped her face, "I thought you might get tired in one position."

She wasn't complaining about being tired but about him.

But before she could say anything, he kissed her again.

She wanted to escape. However, his hand was on the back of her neck, and the other hand reached into her nightgown.

Victoria's skin was hot, like she had a fever.

He knew she was just shy.

He didn't know how long it lasted or how many positions they changed. Later, she lay on his side, feeling his breath against her forehead.

Alexander asked, "If I want you now, would it be considered taking advantage of you?"

"Yes." Victoria noddded.

Both of their voices were a bit hoarse, but neither was satisfied with the other.

Alexander could only hold her in his arms, asking in a deep voice, "But I really want to. What should I do?"

"I'm not helping you. You take care of yoursel." Victoria firmly whispered against his chest.

Alexander chuckled, "I don't want to do it myself. I have a wife."

——

Downstairs, Eloise was still watching the game with Brett. Mason came in from outside and said, "Ms. Montgomery is outside, saying Mr. Alexander Harrington is looking for her."

"Which Ms. Montgomery?" Brett frowned and asked.

"Ms. Isabella Montgomery." Mason mentioned the name with displeasure.

"Alex is looking for her?" Brett remembered and tightened his frown.

"She is a liar. Just leave her alone." Eloise immediately expressed her dissatisfaction.

"When Mr. Alexander Harrington came back, she was indeed outside," Mason reported truthfully, knowing that Brett and Eloise would never ask him to go upstairs and call Alexander down.

"Let me tell you, even if Alexander really said he was looking for her, you can't go up and tell him, or I'll fire you." Eloise immediately threatened Mason.

"Got it." Mason wasn't angry; he was even a bit happy.

After Mason left, Brett asked her, "Aren't you afraid Alexander will be unhappy?"

"What am I afraid of? I have you to protect me," Eloise said arrogantly.

Brett held back for two seconds before laughing.

Eloise said, "But what exactly does Alexander want? Why would he call Isabella to come here?"

"Or maybe Isabella blocked him outside?" Brett guessed.

"Would he agree to meet Isabella then?"

Brett added, "Or maybe it's just a temporary measure? You know how difficult Isabella can be. If he doesn't agree, she won't let him go home."

"Is that so? Then Mason doesn't need to go up and inform Alexander? Let Isabella wait as long as she wants," Eloise said.

At this moment, Isabella continued to call Alexander from her car, but no one answered.

Isabella could only call Sebastian, who answered. Suppressing her frustration, she said, "Can you call Alexander and tell him I'm still outside the Harrington Mansion waiting for him?"

"Didn't you say you wouldn't contact me again?" Sebastian replied indifferently.

Isabella said, "Is this the time to hold a grudge? Seb, we'll always be friends."

"I won't call him. Goodbye," Sebastian said and hung up, then went to the bathroom.

On his bed lay a woman named Emily Windsor, whom his father had arranged for him to marry. Hearing his phone call, Emily was also a bit unhappy, so she called out before he entered the bathroom, "Can you not answer that woman's calls in the future?"

"Okay," Sebastian agreed.

"Thank you." Emily was surprised and thanked him.

Sebastian couldn't help but laugh. He was about to close the door but then thought, since they had already been intimate, why bother closing it?

Meanwhile, Isabella was still waiting outside the Harrington Mansion.

Alexander said he would come out to see her. He must be settling Victoria first before coming out.

Isabella felt her hatred and resentment towards Victoria had reached an unbearable level.

She thought, 'Why does Victoria always manage to avoid these troubles?'

Isabella tightly gripped her phone and looked at the Harrington Mansion. She used to be able to enter this mansion.

But ever since Victoria appeared, she had no status in the Harrington family.

Not just in the Harrington family, but ever since Alexander married Victoria, friends who knew about it had become much colder towards her.

The Montgomery Family had also declined because of Victoria.

Her father became a criminal for assaulting a girl, and the Montgomery Group started to go downhill. She even had a twenty-three-year-old half-brother.

And that brother was here to compete for the inheritance.

Isabella got out of the car and rang the doorbell.

Eloise immediately said, "Unplug it."

Mason went to unplug it.

Isabella thought the doorbell was broken, but when she couldn't get through on the phone, she called Benjamin. Tessa answered, "Are you crazy? Calling a man with a girlfriend in the middle of the night."

Isabella didn't recognize the voice and called Edward, who was more approachable. But a woman answered, "You're crazy, Isabella. Can't you find another man?"

Isabella said, "Olivia, don't hang up. Olivia? Hello? Damn it."

Isabella stood by the car, looking at the quiet Harrington Mansion. Then a lightning bolt struck from the opposite side toward her.
