Chapter 530 Did Mr. Harrington Want to Change Rooms?

Tessa quickly dug into her bag and pulled out the marriage certificate.

Eloise squinted, holding it at arm's length, and then noticed a delicate signature on the document.

Felicity pointed it out to Eloise. "Look here. It's legit, and it has the official seal."

Ignoring the intense stares, Felicity just smiled. "Eloise, congrats on getting another granddaughter-in-law."

Arabella and Eloise both glanced at Felicity, thinking, 'She can still smile, huh?'

Felicity, knowing Eloise always wanted a great-grandchild, genuinely wished them well. "Congrats to both of you. Wishing you a happy marriage and a baby soon."

Tessa shyly scratched the back of her neck, saying, "I still feel like a kid myself."

Alexander suddenly said coldly, "How can you still be a kid when you're married? Be ready to have two kids in three years."

Arabella snapped, "What are you talking about? Victoria is still here."

Alexander sneered, his sharp eyes on Felicity. "There are many look-alikes in this world. Her name is Felicity."

Felicity smiled. "Mr. Harrington, you have a good memory."

The atmosphere turned awkward.

Felicity noticed Eloise staring at her grandson in confusion and softly said, "Mrs. Eloise Harrington, I should leave now."

"You're not allowed to leave." Eloise snapped back to reality, grabbing her arm to stop her.

Arabella chimed in, "Whether you're Felicity or Victoria, you're not leaving tonight."

Felicity looked at the two elders, then smiled. "Isn't that a bit inappropriate?"

Arabella insisted, "How is it inappropriate? Even if you're not my daughter-in-law, you look just like her, so you can stay."

Felicity explained, "But I'm a public figure now. If reporters find out I'm staying here, I won't be able to explain it."

Alexander noticed Felicity's boldness.

Victoria would never be so forward.

Or maybe she really was gone.

Perhaps it would be best to just assume she was gone; that would be easier.

"Then don't say anything, but Tessa should leave quickly." Arabella glared at Alexander.

Alexander met her gaze and said indifferently, "This is my home, and she's my wife. Why should she leave?"

"Then..." Arabella turned to the person beside him.

"Should I leave? Fine, I can leave." Tessa felt she couldn't stay.

"Why should you leave? You're my legal wife. It's perfectly reasonable for you to stay." Alexander's cold words left Tessa unsure of what to do.

But seeing the three women nearby, Tessa slowly stood up and said, "Could someone give me a ride? It's hard to get a cab here."

Alexander instructed Edward, "Edward, get Cade or Felix to give Tessa a ride."

Edward replied, "Yes."

Mason had been waiting outside, ready to give someone a ride.

Of course, he hoped the one leaving was Tessa.

Tessa got up, then heard Alexander's threat, "You can leave, but remember, it's your choice. Don't come back later."

Tessa felt strange, not knowing how to react.

Only Eloise and Arabella felt his words were meant for someone else.

And Felicity just smiled and said, "Mr. Harrington, you seem hard to get along with."

"Not as much as you, who is charming in every way," Alexander said indifferently, getting up to leave.

But instead of leaving, he went upstairs.

Arabella suddenly thought her son was being really foolish.

After Tessa left, Eloise asked, "Is this marriage certificate real?"

"Just make a call to find out." Arabella immediately dialed a contact at the relevant institution.

A few minutes later, Arabella put down the phone, trying to stay calm.

Eloise asked nervously, "How is it?"

Arabella replied, "It's fake."

Eloise asked Felicity, and she immediately confirmed it was fake.

"Mrs. Arabella Harrington, I heard them say it was real," Felicity cautiously told Arabella. Seeing Arabella's gaze, she smiled awkwardly but politely.

Arabella suddenly questioned Felicity angrily, "What really happened that night? Do you know how everyone has been living these past months? You change your name and think no one is heartbroken?"

Felicity's beautiful eyes were silent for a few seconds, then she smiled again. "Mrs. Arabella Harrington, as Mr. Harrington said, I probably just look a lot like the late Mrs. Victoria Harrington. You need to learn to forget those sad memories."

Eloise suddenly sniffled. "But when I see you, I can't forget, I just want to see you."

Felicity said, "Then you can see me more often, even if I'm not in this city, you can see me on TV."

"I don't want to see you on TV, I want to see you at home." Eloise started to act spoiled on her shoulder.

Felicity quickly coaxed her gently, "Alright, alright, I'll come visit you often."

Soon Mason came in to report. "It's raining outside. Felix sent Ms. Hughes home, Cade has gone to bed, and Ms. Katherine..."

Eloise suddenly took a deep breath and asked Mason fiercely, "Look at this terrible weather, and you're still asking?"

Arabella said, "Everyone should go rest, just have the kitchen leave some snacks for Brett and Maximus."

"Okay." Mason quickly left.

"You're not really going to make me stay here, are you? Can I call Dorian to pick me up?" Felicity felt she had to leave.

"If you leave tonight, I won't be able to sleep. My blood sugar is high, you know that. If you leave and I die, you wouldn't be able to get over it. Just consider it repaying your parents' lives." Eloise's words left no room for argument.

"Can I sleep in the guest room?"

"Why sleep in the guest room? The guest room's air conditioning is broken. Let Alexander sleep in the guest room, and you sleep in your room." Felicity didn't insist further, just nodded.

After Alexander finished his shower, he heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

Arabella stood at the door with Felicity, commanding, "You go sleep in the guest room."

Alexander said nothing, just turned left and left.

Felicity could still smell the scent of his body wash, finding it quite pleasant.

"Mrs. Harrington, well then. I'll oblige." Felicity didn't hesitate, greeted Arabella, and entered the master bedroom.

Everything inside felt distant.

Alexander's pants and shirt were still draped at the foot of the bed, easily sparking imagination, but showed that he loved tidiness.

She didn't rush in.

She still had that feeling, like she had intruded into someone else's forbidden zone.

Besides, the guest room's air conditioning was broken.

Suddenly, two knocks on the door behind her felt like they pierced through her heart. Felicity lowered her eyes, took a long time to get up, then calmly turned to open the door, and without looking up, softly said, "Mr. Harrington, do you want to switch rooms?"
