Chapter 799 Alexander, Hold Me

"What are you plotting?"

Alexander suddenly became serious.

Victoria was taken aback, thinking he had sobered up, but in the next second, he grabbed her hands and shoved them under his shirt.

Victoria silently stared at him, confirming he was indeed drunk, then she smiled again, gently caressing his chest and leaning in closer, whispering seductively, "My plot is to make you beg for mercy."

"Okay."

Alexander smiled ingratiatingly, like a child seeking affection.

Victoria looked at his shining eyes, feeling a pang in her heart, but quickly smiled and said, "Then, can I lean on your shoulder for a while?"

"Of course."

Alexander was flattered, his gaze, though drunk, showed he liked how she treated him.

Victoria felt a bit regretful but slowly leaned in.

"Alexander, hold me."

Soon, she murmured again.

Because his hands weren't holding her, which was unlike his usual behavior.

When Victoria leaned on his shoulder, he leaned back, and suddenly his eyes became teary, and he held her.

Then, the spacious dining room suddenly fell silent.

The two of them were so close, like a sorrowful painting of mutual warmth.

Victoria's eyes also had some glistening tears, but more so, there was a plot.

Victoria thought that now he was drunk, it was the best time to make a move.

Alexander, like a beast in heat, though drunk, was still full of lustful thoughts.

Victoria lay there for a while, then felt him kissing her.

She endured the tickling kisses for a few moments, then couldn't take it anymore and sat up, her small hands warming on his chest, then cupped his face, looking at him tenderly and commanding softly, "No kissing."

"You're mine."

He murmured, then tried to kiss her again.

Victoria immediately dodged to the side, looking at him with starry eyes, tender yet firm, "I said, no kissing."

"Are you mine?"

Alexander stared at her again.

"I used to be."

She cupped his face, softly whispering.

Maybe it was too quiet around; she wasn't even angry at him for entangling her with this topic.

"Not used to be."

He suddenly held her tighter.

Victoria had to lightly press her finger against his thin lips, "If you don't speak, I'll kiss you."

Alexander stared straight at her, suddenly very quiet.

Victoria saw he understood her meaning, so she slowly leaned in and lightly kissed his lips.

Just as he was about to respond, she pulled away.

Alexander said sadly, "I want more."

"More? Fine, but you have to answer my question first, then I'll kiss you. Deal?"

Victoria looked at him seriously.

Alexander sighed in frustration, holding her tighter, "Deal."

He was anxious, wanting her to kiss him quickly.

Victoria thought for a moment, not wanting to go straight to the point, and asked, "Where else in our house has surveillance?"

"Everywhere except the bathroom."

Alexander finished and smiled happily, asking for a kiss.

Victoria was a bit surprised but still lightly kissed his lips again.

"More."

Alexander felt her kiss was too short; he didn't even get to use his tongue.

"More? Then let me ask you, will you make sure I never see Strawberry again?"

Victoria looked into his eyes intently, asking this question, though she was careful, she was still very nervous.

Alexander's expression instantly became serious, but soon he murmured, "Yes."

Victoria felt like she was suddenly stabbed in the heart, unable to speak for a long time.

He urged, "Kiss me quickly; don't just touch and leave."

Victoria's heart trembled, reluctantly kissing his lips again, and as she was about to pull away, Alexander held the back of her head.

Victoria's eyes widened. Was he cheating?

After kissing, Alexander grumbled discontentedly, "It's hard, honey."

"Who's your honey?"

"You are."

"If I'm your wife, how come I don't even know where our divorce papers are?"

Victoria mustered the courage, pouting.

"They're in the first drawer of my desk."

"Now I want to kiss you like it could last forever."

"What?"

"And have passionate sex."

Alexander suddenly hugged Victoria and placed her on the dining table, "Should we do it here or go to the bedroom?"

"Are you drunk or not?"

"Either way, I promise to make you feel good, honey, please."

He spoke seriously, then suddenly nuzzled her neck, kissing it.

Victoria held his shoulders, trying to push him, but he kissed down her neck, she couldn't push him away, she could only call him, "Alexander, stop, my back hurts."

"Your back hurts again? Let me massage it."

Alexander immediately got up, holding her in his arms and massaging her back.

Victoria listened to his heartbeat, it was only slightly faster than usual, knowing he was drunk.

But when she looked up at him, her heart inexplicably warmed, and her nose tingled.

He seemed to have lost a lot of weight.

His face was more chiseled, and even his Adam's apple was more prominent.

They both seemed to be not doing well, Victoria slowly lowered her head, quietly leaning in Alexander's arms.

She craved this brief warmth.

She knew their outcome would always be the same.

But she still craved it.

"Shall we go to bed?"

Alexander suddenly asked softly.

Victoria's forehead moved against his chest, and in no time, she was picked up, her legs naturally wrapped around his strong waist, being carried.

Victoria's hands wrapped around his neck, her chin resting on his arm, not daring to move away.

She was inexplicably stupid, actually shedding tears again.

Especially when he brought her back to the room, he suddenly murmured, "If you hadn't left, I could hold you like this every day."

He seemed to have lost the most important phase of his life, so painful, so aggrieved, yet restrained.

Victoria just kept crying, her tears flowing more and more.

She couldn't speak, nor did she want to.

When he's sober, he would know why she didn't respond.

Now that he's drunk, he would say these things he wouldn't normally.

Alexander turned to look at her, touching her forehead with his, wanting to see her, murmuring, "Vicky."

Victoria turned her face away, her hand around his neck lifted to barely touch her face, wiping away the tears, then in a hoarse yet calm voice, "I'm tired."

"Will you let me lie in bed with you?"

He asked.

"Okay."

Victoria thought, just coaxing him to sleep.

Tomorrow, he would forget everything, and she...
