Chapter 427 Dreamlike Rooftop

The staff left.

"It seems like Mr. Sinclair is really pursuing you seriously," Victoria guessed.

"We are too familiar," Olivia said.

"Isn't childhood sweetheart a good thing?" Victoria asked.

Victoria was almost envious.

"Childhood sweethearts are fine, but he's really fickle. He's surrounded by beautiful women all day long, just thinking about it feels dirty. By the way, don't call him Mr. Sinclair, call him Edward." Olivia said.

"But he is several years older than me," Victoria replied.

"But I heard you call Alexander by his name. You can call him brother. After all, they all have seen you running around naked when you were a child," Olivia said.

This made it even more awkward.

"It's not bad to have a good relationship with them. Even if you don't call them brothers, they wouldn't dare to do anything to you," Olivia added.

"How should I interpret that?" Victoria curiously asked her.

"It seems like Alexander warned them not to tease you," Olivia replied.

Victoria felt a pang in her heart and thought, 'Does he really say such things?'

She thought there were two Alexanders in this world!

One always made promises to her, maybe even willing to help her, and the other was an unforgivable pseudo-gentleman.

Until after ten o'clock, both of them had drunk a bit too much. Victoria was leaning on the table, staring blankly at the crystal wine glass, while Olivia was resting her chin in thought.

Shortly after, Olivia's phone rang. She glanced at it, then suddenly stood up. "Victoria, we should leave."

"What's wrong?" Victoria looked at her blankly.

Olivia picked up both of their phones, put them in her bag, stood up, and took Victoria's wrist. "It's time to go," she said.

"Okay," Victoria replied.

Victoria thought, 'Indeed, it is time to go. I am so tired.'

In the elevator, Victoria leaned against Olivia's shoulder, not even looking at the numbers in front of the elevator, just following Olivia steadily.

Olivia glanced down at her. "Honestly, you're not too drunk to be clear-headed, are you?"

"What?" Victoria looked up at her blankly.

Olivia felt a bit bad and had to extend a finger. "What number is this?"

"I'm just a bit dizzy, not stupid," Victoria smiled and replied.

"As long as you can still judge." Olivia added, though she wasn't sure whom she was comforting.

The two of them reached the top floor. Victoria looked around at the surroundings and couldn't help but ask, "Olivia, aren't we supposed to go home?"

"Yes, but we have something to do here first," Olivia whispered.

Victoria fully trusted her at this moment. After all, in the past few hours downstairs, the two sisters had sincerely talked through the years.

"Ms. Baker, Mrs. Harrington, good evening,” greeted the hotel's manager.

This was Alexander's exclusive suite.

The hotel manager was at the door.

Both Victoria and Olivia nodded to him, and Olivia asked, "Is everyone here?"

"Yes." Then, the manager opened the door.

Inside was quiet, and the lighting was a bit dim.

Victoria stared inside blankly and couldn't help but ask, "Huh? Did the power go out?"

Olivia also felt a jolt in her heart. Was Victoria already tipsy from alcohol? She couldn't even see the lights?

Although the lighting inside was relatively dim, it was colorful, very dreamy, and even romantic.

If there was a power outage, how were those lights on?

"Victoria," Alexander called.

"Yes," Victoria subconsciously responded, her eyes, already mellow and confused from the alcohol, gazing inside.

Olivia and the manager beside her suddenly held their breath.

Victoria felt like someone inside was calling her. It seemed like Alexander.

She couldn't help but look inside, taking small steps closer to the middle of the doorway.
