Chapter 847 No One Is Allowed to Bully Her
"What did you say?"
Arabella also noticed that Diana was looking at Victoria strangely and quickly gave Diana a look.
"I didn't know who it was, but a woman who can get Isabella imprisoned can't be a good person, right?"
Diana nonchalantly continued to stare at Victoria and questioned.
Victoria was taken aback.
A woman who got Isabella imprisoned?
Diana's look suggested she thought it was Victoria who sent Isabella to jail.
"Diana, stop talking nonsense."
"Alexander still has scars on his neck. She used to attract your attention when she was young, and now that she's grown up, it's even worse, right? Look at all of you standing up for her."
Diana felt suddenly aggrieved as she saw her grandmother and mother giving her looks.
"The scars on Alexander's neck were caused by me, but Isabella went to jail because she committed a crime."
"Really? Didn't you set her up?"
Diana didn't believe Victoria at all.
To her, Victoria was a devil in a gentle disguise.
"Diana."
Arabella called Diana again.
Victoria thought she shouldn't stay here any longer, or they might end up fighting.
Diana had just returned, and if they fought, it would make things difficult for the elders.
"Welcome home. I'm not feeling well, so I'll leave for a bit."After saying this, Victoria got up to leave.
Diana didn't stop her and even clung to Alexander's arm, muttering, "Alexander, you should divorce her. I can tell she's not a good girl."
"I won't allow you to talk about her like that."
Alexander half-closed his eyes and commanded.
"I'm just stating the facts."
"Diana, you just got back."
Alexander immediately hinted.
In this house, no one ever dared to say a bad word about Victoria in front of him.
If anyone did, he would refute it.
In this world, only he could bully Victoria.
"Alexander, don't you love me anymore? As soon as she comes back, you don't love me anymore. I hate you. I hate all of you."
Diana glanced at the elders and then ran upstairs crying.
Fortunately, her room hadn't changed, which gave her some comfort.
After Diana left, Arabella couldn't help but mutter, "What's wrong with Didi? Why is she so against Victoria?"
"When Victoria wasn't around, Alexander only doted on her."
Maximus glanced at Alexander and explained to everyone.
Alexander didn't sit for long, either. "I'll find time to talk to Diana. I'll go check on Tori first."
Victoria had just taken a phone call and was about to head to the VicLiv studio when Alexander appeared at the bedroom door. She curiously asked, "Why did you come up? Aren't you staying with Diana?"
"Are you leaving?"
"VicLiv just called and said there's something I need to handle. I want to take care of it before work."She explained.
"Then I'll take you."
"No need."
Victoria originally planned not to mention it.
But when Alexander grabbed her, she was afraid he wouldn't understand, so she said, "Stay and have breakfast, just like usual, and go to work on time. You and your sister have finally reunited."
"Don't mind what she said. I'll take you."
"Alexander, please. If you come with me, she'll hate me even more."
Victoria looked at him with a pleading gaze.
She didn't want to make things worse with Diana.
Alexander had to agree and contacted Frank to wait for her outside.
Diana only went downstairs after seeing Victoria leave from the window. Arabella took Diana's hand and had her sit beside her. "Diana, how can you blame Victoria for Isabella going to jail? She's the victim."
"Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, Dad, I've been wanting to tell you that her parents' death was a traffic accident. It had nothing to do with you. You shouldn't feel guilty about it, and you certainly shouldn't have forced Alexander to marry her because of it. Alexander, you too."
"Diana, I'll only say this once. No matter what you've heard in the past or will hear in the future, you should only believe what I say. Victoria is the only woman I love. If you insist on making things difficult for her, then I'm sorry, but you'll be my enemy."
Alexander knew Diana's personality; coaxing wouldn't work.
He made his point clear and then left the house.
As soon as he got up, Diana felt aggrieved and immediately started crying.
'This my brother. For an outsider, he said such things to me.'
'How could I be his enemy?'
'Victoria had bewitched Alexander.'
"Didi, don't cry. Alexander's words may be harsh, but they're reasonable."
"Mom, do you love me or Victoria?"
Diana couldn't help but cry.
"Of course, I love you the most, but you have to distinguish right from wrong."
Arabella felt both heartbroken and helpless.
"Your return should have been a happy occasion, but Victoria almost lost her life saving me. How can you say Isabella was put in jail by her? It sounds like she used some underhanded means. How awful does that sound?"
Eloise couldn't help but speak up for Victoria.
In this matter, Eloise had always been particularly rational.
"Grandma, have you ever thought that she might have set up Isabella and used you?"
"Nonsense. How could you have such a malicious thought about your family? Do you think, at my age, I can't see through a young girl's intentions? Do you look down on Victoria, or do you think we are senile?"
Eloise couldn't stand Diana's words any longer.
But as soon as hearing this, Diana hated Victoria even more.
Diana didn't expect to be scolded by the elders as soon as she got home. She knew Victoria had infiltrated their family and bewitched them all.
Around ten in the morning, Diana went to Alexander's office. Victoria was working, and when she saw Diana, she felt inexplicably nervous. She stood up and calmly said, "Diana."
"I'm here to see Alexander. You go about your business."
Diana waved her hand, not intending to pay her any attention.
Victoria thought that was fine and was about to sit down when Diana suddenly came back. "I'm not going to be swayed by you."
"My elders think you're pitiful, but I don't," Diana said.
Victoria smiled and said, "Alexander has a meeting in ten minutes. If you want to see him, you should go now."
"Of course, I'm going. I don't need your fake kindness. Honestly, you're here as a secretary just to keep an eye on Alexander, right? Have you been blocking all the women who come to see him?"
Diana scrutinized Victoria, seeing her looking all serious.
Victoria smiled, "I have indeed blocked quite a few women. You should go see Alexander. If you want to talk to me, we can have lunch together."
"Fine, lunch it is, but I'm not treating you."
"I'll treat."
"Will you treat? Is there anything on you that isn't from the Harrington family?"
