Chapter 796 No Surveillance
"There's surveillance there."
Victoria spoke with certainty again.
Everyone turned to look at Victoria.
Daisy's heart skipped a beat, and her face suddenly turned pale.
Victoria's gaze gradually lowered as she looked at Daisy, then leveled her eyes at Alexander in front of her.
Alexander also looked at Victoria, shaking his head with a smile.
Daisy couldn't understand the meaning behind Alexander's head shake and softly questioned, "How could there be surveillance cameras in the bathroom?"
No one believed it, which is why they kept staring at the couple.
Emily and Tessa were even more anxious.
This matter needed an explanation.
How did Daisy get hurt on her arm?
"You better tell the truth, or they'll think you're a pervert."
Victoria casually reminded Alexander.
Alexander glanced at her, smiled helplessly, and slowly said, "Indeed, we have surveillance cameras in every corner of our house."
"Why?"
Benjamin asked deeply.
"You know there have been many news reports about nannies abusing children this year, so after Strawberry came back, I installed surveillance cameras in every corner of the house just a few days ago."
Alexander explained calmly, and after finishing, he glanced at Victoria beside him with a smile, took her hand, and placed it on his thigh, intertwining their fingers.
She didn't resist, not at all.
Alexander's expression became more relaxed, even a bit proud.
Everyone didn't understand why he was proud, thinking he just didn't consider installing surveillance in the bathroom a big deal.
Olivia touched her neck, then started staring at Alexander and Victoria, feeling they were a bit strange.
But when Olivia saw Daisy's pale face, she suddenly found it quite interesting and became more leisurely.
Benjamin leaned back in his chair, stroking Tessa's long hair to remind her not to be too nervous.
Tessa understood his meaning and calmed down, knowing there was surveillance.
But Daisy said, "Then Mr. Harrington and Mrs. Harrington, please pull up the surveillance footage to prove how I was humiliated by them."
Everyone looked at Daisy. Daisy wasn't the type to hide her fear. Although she mustered up the courage, she still felt very uneasy.
"Alexander, why don't you pull up the surveillance footage?"
Neil, who brought Daisy, suggested.
Alexander nodded, then looked at Victoria, "Shall we pull it up? I'll have Alfred do it personally."
"Okay."
Victoria agreed.
Soon, a servant went to find Alfred to pull up the surveillance footage.
Alexander then said indifferently, "Ms. Bryant, please return to your seat."
He glanced at Daisy's seat at the back, but from his position, it wasn't easy to see her. And honestly, he was too lazy to try.
"With you making the decision, I'll listen to you."
Daisy suddenly said weakly, then obediently returned to her seat and sat down.
"Daisy, even without the surveillance footage, I dare say whoever did that to you deserves to go to hell."
Emily suddenly said.
"And that person will get what's coming to them."
Tessa added angrily.
She had never been so wrong before.
Just now, she and Emily went in and scolded her, but it was only verbal.
They didn't bother to pull hair or get physical.
Daisy clenched her hands, crying and laughing, looking humiliated, "I always thought we had feelings for each other. I didn't expect you to say I was worthless just to befriend Mrs. Harrington."
"You're not worthless. Remember that test you scored thirty points on when you were a kid?"
Tessa suddenly mentioned.
Daisy was immediately embarrassed, "Who scored thirty points?"
"Then how many points was it? Twenty? Or ten?"
Tessa continued.
"Tessa, do you have to humiliate me like this? Who doesn't know how well I write papers? How could I score that low?"
"Of course, none of our classmates knew you wrote good papers, and neither did the Grade Level Coordinator who suggested you drop out."
Daisy was a bit furious. Tessa knew almost all her embarrassing moments.
Emily whispered to Tessa, loud enough for everyone to hear, "Actually, I've heard about it too. Didn't her dad donate a library to the school to keep her there?"
Knowing there was surveillance, Emily and Tessa instantly relaxed.
But Victoria was a bit nervous because she couldn't bear to tell the truth, seeing Tessa and Emily's demeanor.
When she looked at the man of the house, Alexander, he also looked at her, smiling and whispering in her ear, "What should we do? We're going to get exposed."
Victoria immediately gave him a stern look.
Alexander still whispered in her ear, "I really can't do anything."
Daisy saw them whispering so intimately and felt extremely jealous, urging, "Mr. Harrington, haven't you got the surveillance footage yet?"
Alexander lazily glanced at Daisy, "Ms. Bryant seems very anxious. Why don't you go and check it yourself? The surveillance room is in the innermost room."
Victoria instinctively looked at him and couldn't help but whisper in his ear.
Alexander looked at her unhappily, "You want me to accompany her? Do you not want me anymore?"
Victoria was stunned. 'Why did he suddenly speak so loudly?'
Daisy was also stunned, looking at Alexander, then at Victoria.
Everyone held their breath. William, who hadn't said much all night, was busy posting on Facebook, "Exciting women's fight scene."
The picture was just Daisy's arm injury, with no faces shown. William, sitting next to Edward, had secretly taken it when Daisy showed Olivia her arm.
Someone in the back said, "You can check fingerprints on that."
William closed his phone immediately, "Alexander, is your surveillance broken? Should we get someone to check the fingerprints?"
Alexander looked at William, who smiled and said, "Logically, if her arm was pinched like that, it would leave the culprit's fingerprints."
"But I've touched it myself."
Daisy immediately explained.
At this moment, Daisy was very nervous.
She didn't expect someone to suggest checking fingerprints.
"Then it would be three people's fingerprints. With today's technology, they can find out who left what on your arm."
William chatted casually.
"What?"
Daisy was even more terrified.
Victoria suddenly pulled her hand away from Alexander's, seriously saying, "Barbara, bring me my phone. I'll make a call."
"What are you calling for?"
Seeing Daisy suddenly stand up and question her impulsively, Victoria remained calm and asked back, "Why are you in such a hurry?"
"I, I..."
