Chapter 967 She Finally Smiled Again
"No! If you die, you must die in Ankenra City."
Alexander solemnly informed.
Daisy didn't realize how much her suggestion to flee abroad had affected Alexander.
After Elliot realized Alexander wouldn't help her, he immediately stepped forward, "Alexander, is this bitch bothering you again? Don't pay her any mind. You go ahead, leave her to me."
"Keep an eye on Daisy, don't let her leave the city."
Alexander reminded this before leaving.
Elliot was puzzled by Alexander's words, but he indeed had no intention of letting Daisy leave the city.
Now that Daisy was carrying his child, he had the final say on where she went.
The moment she left his sight, she would think about getting an abortion, and he wouldn't give her that chance.
The Cook Family needed an heir, and as the daughter-in-law of the Cook Family, she had the obligation to continue the family line.
"What? Are you trying to seduce Alexander again? Do you think he's some lowlife who would touch anything?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
Daisy looked at Elliot, feeling that he was constantly humiliating her.
Elliot, however, laughed and said, "You don't know? Then let me tell you, a man like Alexander wouldn't be interested in a bitch like you. He believes in pure love, without any impurities."
Elliot felt a bit bitter as he said this.
He didn't understand why just because he loved someone of the same sex, it became so unbearable.
Everyone in his family found it unacceptable.
Just because the person he loved was a man.
How ridiculous.
The world is so big, yet gays still have to endure so much scorn.
Elliot was indignant, but there was nothing he could do.
He had a responsibility to this family.
And after hearing his words, Daisy trembled all over. She was angry, she felt wronged, but she was too cowardly to get mad.
She didn't know when she would be able to get rid of Elliot. She had tried several times to go to the hospital for an abortion, but he always found out. He would bring her back home and then beat her.

After the party ended, Elliot and Daisy followed behind a group of people. They were already honored to attend such a gathering of important figures and could only stay at the back. They watched as everyone escorted Alexander to his car, chatted with him, and then closed the car door for him.
Alexander politely and appropriately nodded goodbye, and then the car set off towards Serenade Villa.
On the way, Alexander couldn't resist video calling Victoria. Victoria no longer avoided him, but seeing him disheveled in the car, she couldn't help but question, "What are you doing?"
"I got my shirt dirty, so I had them bring me a new one."
He said, changing into the new shirt.
Victoria didn't think much of it and just asked, "I have some things to finish writing, can I excuse myself for now?"
"No."
"Why?"
"I miss you a lot."
Alexander stared straight into the video at Victoria's eyes. Perhaps it was the alcohol, but he suddenly wanted to make love to her immediately.
But he could only think about it.
"You're not a child anymore."
"So?"
"Be more composed," Victoria said softly.
Alexander chuckled at this and said, "But the moment I see you, I turn into a little imp."
It was true; he found himself somewhat immature in front of her.
"Tori?"
"What?"
"I miss you again."
Victoria was amused. It had only been half a minute, and he had already said it twice.
Alexander watched her laugh so happily on the other side, and his expression immediately turned serious.
She was finally smiling again.
