Chapter 353 He said, Try to accept me
"I don't want to," Victoria said.
She touched the hard metal buckle and immediately wanted to pull her hand back.
But in the warm water flow, Alexander firmly held her hand. "Victoria, do you have a disease?"
"What?" she asked, puzzled.
"If not, try to accept me," Alexander said.
‘Try to accept him?’ she thought.
He seemed to have said such words before, it sounded really familiar. She refused, finally hiding her hand behind her back when he went to touch her skin, then holding her chest, gasping to tell him, "I can't accept you."
"I love you, baby."
Alexander's voice became lower and hoarse.
Resting his forehead against the base of her neck, his gaze lowered, he struggled to control his breathing, not wanting to frighten her. However, no man would remain indifferent when seeing his woman's body.
So he lifted his head, met her lips again, and kissed more and more passionately.
Outside, a phone kept ringing, over and over again.
Later, Alexander wiped his body and answered the phone, "If he can't be found, he can't be found. He's not a child. What are you all worried about?"
"Your aunt is worried now. Ask Victoria to try giving him a call."
Arabella stood next to Melissa, struggling to speak.
"Are you having a sudden burst of sympathy, planning to give your daughter-in-law to him?" Alexander endured and finally asked.
Victoria walked to the door in a bath towel and just glanced outside.
"Alexander, Adrian is still young."
"I understand, I'll call you back later."
Alexander hung up the phone and looked towards the bathroom door.
"What's wrong?" Victoria asked. She was grateful for the incessant phone call, but seeing his unhappy expression, she couldn't help but worry.
Alexander didn't say anything, just sat on the edge of the bed.
Victoria stood there, leaning against the wall with weak legs. "What's going on?"
"Give Adrian a call," Alexander said curtly.
"Is something wrong with Adrian?" Victoria asked, nervous.
After asking, she went back to the bathroom and took out her wet phone from the pocket of her wet pants.
The phone was wet, but it still worked.
She wiped the screen with the towel as she walked out and made the call.
Having been given a robe by Alexander earlier, she now wore it, feeling very secure. She dialed Adrian. After a long time, long enough for her to start worrying about him, he suddenly answered, "Hello?"
"Adrian, where are you?" Victoria asked.
"At the bar, Victoria, I miss you," Adrian said.
"..."
Victoria's heart sank as she listened, but she could only state the reason for her call. "The elders are very worried about you."
"Victoria, I'm so scared. I've already lost my father. Will I lose you too?"
Adrian held the phone, muttering as he leaned on the bar.
Having had a few drinks, he was feeling a bit tipsy.
Politely waiting for him to finish speaking, she then softly asked him, "Which bar are you at now?"
Upon Adrian mentioning the bar's name, Victoria proceeded to reassure him, "Don't move from there, I'll come get you."
Alexander sat on the edge of the bed, listening quietly with his head down.
‘She is going to pick him up?’ he wondered.
After hanging up the phone, Victoria turned to Alexander. "Should I go get him?"
Victoria assumed the Harrington's family probably wanted her to go find Adrian and bring him back.
"Come here." Alexander weakly said.
Victoria didn't dare to approach. Seeing her guarded stance, Alexander smiled bitterly but patiently called out, "Victoria, come here."
