Chapter 265 Alexander's Wish

"Honey, I can't hold back anymore." Alexander leaned against her soft and fragrant neck and murmured.

In the quiet bedroom, on the big bed, Alexander and Victoria held hands tightly together.

He had been holding back, waiting for Victoria's consent before crossing the line of intimacy. But the waiting was a torment. Countless times, he had yearned to be one with her.

Victoria, on the brink of tears, trembled with anxiety. "Alexander, please don't," she pleaded. She couldn't fathom why he was behaving this way. Perhaps it was his sudden restraint after a period of insistence that emboldened her to voice her fear. Or maybe, she thought, showing her vulnerability and shedding tears would soften him, make him relent and release her.

"Victoria, we haven't even made love yet, and you're already crying so loudly," Alexander said, his voice laced with concern. He feared that when they finally succumbed to their desires, she would be so fragile, so overwhelmed, that she would be reduced to a torrent of tears. Yet, the thought of their future together eased the heaviness in his heart by more than half.

Suddenly, a clap of thunder echoed from outside. Alexander's gaze shifted to the window, then back to Victoria. A playful grin tugged at his lips. "It seems I'll have to spend the night in your room tonight."

"You promised we wouldn't make love," Victoria retorted firmly.

Alexander raised an eyebrow. "If I wanted to, do you think you could continue to deceive me like this?" he asked.

Victoria fell silent, her mind racing. 'Has he figured it out?' she wondered.

Sighing, Alexander rolled away from her, extending an arm in invitation. "Come here," he coaxed.

Victoria eyed him warily, reluctant to comply.

"Or would you prefer that I continue?" he asked.

"No," she replied quickly, curling into his embrace like a kitten seeking warmth.

Alexander cradled her head against his arm, looking down at her fear-filled eyes. He kissed her forehead gently. "Do you really think I enjoy forcing you?"

She didn't know. All she knew was that Alexander was powerful, and every touch of his skin against hers filled her with trepidation.

"Vicky," he whispered, his hand tracing the curve of her slender back, "I hope one day you'll come to me willingly, ready to make love."

Victoria's mind spun. His words felt unreal, and soon, exhaustion claimed her. The warmth of his chest lulled her into a deep sleep, making her forget the discomfort of their prolonged entanglement and the stomachache he had mentioned earlier.

When Victoria awoke the next morning, Alexander was already gone. She sat up, glancing around the room in confusion. Had he left? She wasn't sure whether to feel relieved or disappointed. Hearing noises from downstairs, she slipped on her slippers and ventured out of the room.

Downstairs, a group of people were leaving, and to her surprise, Alexander was among them. He bid them farewell and glanced upstairs. Victoria quickly retreated, hoping he hadn't seen her.

"Breakfast in half an hour. Freshen up first," Alexander called out before disappearing into the kitchen.

Victoria lingered on the landing, feeling awkward. 'Has he been entertaining my classmates? How could he do that without asking me?' she thought, a twinge of irritation prickling at her.

Retreating to her room, she caught sight of her reflection in the bathroom mirror. She gasped at the sight of her bitten lips and the hickeys marring her neck and shoulders. As she looked further, she found similar marks scattered across her body.

Blushing with embarrassment, she remembered their intimate encounter from the previous night. If she hadn't cried, he might have taken her then and there. And he had left so many marks on her.

Fuming, Victoria stormed downstairs to confront him.

Alexander was in the midst of preparing breakfast when he saw her approaching, anger flashing in her eyes. She was still wearing the strappy dress from last night, his marks visible on her skin. He swallowed hard, struggling to maintain his composure.

"Why so angry, darling? You look like a little frog," Alexander teased.
