Chapter 948 Pretending to Care About Her Back Pain
"Age," Adrian said.
"You want a beating, don't you?" Diana was furious.
"Is it that play of yours?"
Victoria asked while Diana was hitting Adrian.
Adrian nodded while holding a cup, "Yes, it seems our director has already approached you."
"Felicity is no longer around, so you know," Victoria said softly.
"Can you tell me what role it is first?"
Diana, feeling bored, was interested in experiencing what it was like to be an actress.
"The male lead's first love," Adrian replied.
"What?" Diana immediately glared.
Adrian finished speaking, glanced at Victoria, then drank his coffee, put down the cup, and stood up. "I'm going to sleep."
"Adrian, I am going to play your first love," Diana exclaimed.
"What acting are you talking about? It's not even your field." Arabella commented.
"Just for fun, what's wrong with that?" Diana retorted.
"Weren't we asking you to meet Andre? Are you satisfied with him?" Arabella asked.
"He thinks he can rely on me for a comfortable life. He sure knows how to dream."
The last few words were spoken more quietly.
But the elders could all tell that Diana wasn't interested in Andre.
"Why don't you two date for a while and see? It's not easy to find a suitable partner, especially when people your age are already becoming mothers." Arabella added.
Victoria and Alexander listened quietly for a while, then Alexander said, "Let's go rest."
Victoria looked at him.
"Weren't you complaining about your back pain earlier? I'll go upstairs and give you a massage."
Alexander said in a low voice, as if no one else was around.
Upon hearing that Victoria had back pain, Eloise was the first to speak, "Victoria, it's all my fault for dragging you to play chess. You should go rest. I know how uncomfortable back pain can be. Go on."
"Alright, I'll head upstairs then," Victoria said.
"Okay, Alexander, you're so considerate. Well done." Diana remarked, winking at Alexander.
Alexander ignored Diana and pulled Victoria away.
Victoria tried to pull her hand back several times, but couldn't. Maybe it was because she had just had coffee and felt a bit soft-hearted.
Alexander took her up the elevator, walked quickly back to the room, and as soon as the door opened and closed, she felt a pain in her waist and was pressed against the wall, hard to breathe.
Alexander kissed her urgently. He had been holding back since she was drinking coffee.
The room was quiet and intimate. Alexander held her slender waist with one hand, while the other hand instinctively explored.
Victoria reflexively grabbed his wandering hand, but her breath was tangled, making it impossible to make a sound. Alexander murmured, "Don't stop me."
Finally, as he nibbled on her chin, she let out a sound of resistance. "No."
"You can't stop me." He murmured, his lips moving from her chin to her neck, kissing her delicate skin all the way.
"Didn't you say you were going to give me a back massage?"
Victoria pushed him and looked at him seriously.
She was a bit confused. Why did he start kissing her as soon as they entered the room?
He said downstairs that her back hurt, and he was going to give her a massage.
She was even thinking that a back massage would feel nice, but instead...
"Later." He said, then held her and kissed her again.
"Alexander, stop..." Victoria said.
"I'm here." He murmured.
Victoria thought he had calmed down, but the next second, she was lifted off the ground and easily carried in his arms.
"Alexander." Victoria scolded.
"I don't want to wait another minute."
He said, carrying her with his long strides towards the bathroom.
The door wasn't closed, and soon the sound of running water and Victoria's pained pleas could be heard from inside.
Alexander held her, kissing her more and more passionately, his hands becoming increasingly assertive.
"Alexander, stop."
"What's wrong?"
"It hurts."
