Chapter 937 Alexander Tricked Again

"Mr. Harrington simply requires adequate rest; there's nothing major."

"What?"

Victoria was taken aback.

It wasn't until after the doctor left that she turned around, dumbfounded.

Alexander stood there leisurely, smiling at her.

Victoria felt her heart skip a beat, then she stared straight at him.

She felt her face heat up. What did his expression mean?

What had she just called that doctor in her outburst?

Victoria couldn't believe the words that had just come out of her mouth, nor could she believe that Alexander had tricked her again.

Observing Alexander's confident and nonchalant demeanor, Victoria grasped the situation and decided to depart. At the elevator door, her shoulder was suddenly grabbed. "Are you mad again?"

Victoria heard this and shrugged her shoulders, expressing her desire for him not to make physical contact. Alexander firmly held her shoulder, always looking at her with a gentle smile.

Victoria couldn't stand it, so she raised her hand to push him away.

When Alexander tried to kiss her, she immediately moved her hand from his chest to his mouth, persistently pushing him away.

The elevator opened, and people came out. Only then did Victoria awkwardly withdraw her hand, but unexpectedly, her cheek was immediately kissed.

He looked at the spot he had kissed, wiped her saliva with his thumb, and then led her inside.

The people inside suddenly lowered their heads, feeling awkward.

"What should we have for dinner?" Alexander suddenly asked, leaning close to her ear.

Victoria's ears turned red immediately. She slightly turned her face to avoid the public display of affection, suppressing her anger and not speaking.

"How about some chicken soup? You've been so weak lately, with no energy at all."

He whispered in her ear, his eyes carefully observing her flushed face.

Victoria couldn't take it anymore and glared at him, but before she could, he kissed her lips.

There were five people in the elevator, but now she felt as if the two of them were squeezed inside, unable to move, her whole body feeling bound, while his kiss was so passionate and fervent.

Even though he was just gently playing with her lips as usual, at that moment, she felt a sudden loss of breath, as though she might suffocate in the next instant.

Soon, the elevator was empty, and Alexander pushed her into a corner. A sudden collision sound echoed; it was her back hitting the wall.

She groaned in pain, and Alexander instantly lifted her back, no longer teasing but kissing her passionately and dominantly.

Victoria couldn't think of anything, like a puppet on strings.

When her legs went weak, Alexander easily supported her.

She couldn't shake the feeling that something had gone wrong to cause this sudden change in him. When the elevator opened again, a woman stood outside, pretending to cough to remind them.

Alexander stopped, looking down at the breathless Victoria.

"First floor."

The woman stood outside, looking in and calling out, with a crowd of people behind her.

Alexander supported Victoria with both hands, smiling softly, "What now? You're going to be embarrassed again."

Victoria struggled to breathe, lifting her eyes with difficulty to see the amusement in his eyes. She quickly pushed him away and walked out.

Alexander leaned against the elevator wall, and after Victoria left, he immediately followed, "Sorry for holding everyone up while I was coaxing my wife."

He strode out, speaking as he chased after Victoria.

Everyone who had been eager to get on the elevator suddenly turned to look curiously.

Alexander caught up with Victoria in the lobby. This time, he grabbed her hand, panting, and said in a deep voice, "If you stay mad, I'll keep kissing you right here."

In the crowded payment hall, Victoria looked up at Alexander and quickly raised her hand.
