Chapter 881 Daisy Sings for Him

Daisy's eyes were full of humility and caution, and she occasionally glanced at Alexander, as if afraid of him, yet also like seduction.

But Alexander's mind was suddenly filled with Victoria's face. He snapped back to reality, sneered softly, and then turned to leave.

After he left, Daisy's gaze remained fixed on him, as if she were glued to him.

When Alexander entered the room, he saw Elliot sitting inside. After sitting down, he asked Elliot, "What brings you here?"

"I just came to have some drinks with you guys and then I'll leave."

Elliot knew Alexander didn't like crowds, so he explained.

Alexander didn't say much after hearing that.

But Benjamin asked Alexander, "Why did you suddenly think of inviting us for drinks?"

"Didn't we used to do this all the time?"

Alexander poured himself a drink and took a sip.

Everyone was watching him.

Sebastian, not daring to provoke him, cautiously reminded, "Alexander, we all have families now."

Alexander's throat tightened, and he squinted at Sebastian, smiling faintly but with a menacing air.

"If you can't speak properly, then don't. Is Alexander single?"

"Who's single?"

Alexander immediately asked in a deep voice upon hearing Edward's teasing.

Edward tentatively replied, "Aren't you?"

"Of course not."

Alexander was displeased.

"Victoria was driven away by him, but they didn't get divorced, so of course he's not."

Benjamin knew Alexander didn't want to talk about it, so he explained on his behalf.

Edward couldn't help but ask, "So are you going to get divorced or not? You drove her away because you couldn't stand her, so why not just get it over with?"

"That's what I mean. You might as well get divorced, and then..."

Benjamin pondered and then suddenly paused.

Everyone looked at Benjamin, who smiled helplessly, "Then you can be friends."

Friends?

How was that possible?

Alexander's expression soured even more, but he said nothing more, just poured himself another drink.

This time, Elliot picked up Alexander's bottle and poured him a drink, "Alexander, we're in control here. I think you should do whatever you want, as long as things are under control."

Benjamin and the others thought Elliot was a real apple polisher and should be kicked out of their group.

"Aren't you just here for a drink?"

Edward, who had long disliked Elliot, reminded him.

"I'm leaving now. Can you include me in your future activities? I promise to run errands and pay without any complaint!" Elliot said.

Edward laughed, "What? Do you want to take over the underlings' jobs, or do you think we're too poor to pay?"

"Alright, both of you stop it. I saw Daisy outside when I came in. Is it appropriate to treat your new wife so coldly?"

"Daisy is just someone my parents forced on me. Whoever wants her can have her. I won't say a word against it."

Elliot glanced at Alexander as he spoke.

But Alexander was lost in thought and didn't hear him.

Benjamin brought it up, "Don't you want a child to be your heir?"

"Fuck, Daisy won't even let me touch her, let alone have a child!"

Elliot stood up to leave.

Elliot, dressed in pink, was also a delicate person who couldn't stand humiliation.

"So, you really can make love to women."

"Edward, you don't understand, do you?"

Elliot joked with Edward and then left.

Edward couldn't help but laugh, "Elliot likes both men and women."

"You better stay away from him. He might like your type."

Edward was immediately displeased by Benjamin's words.

"Especially don't drink with him. If he slips something into your drink and you end up stripped, you'll regret it."

"Yeah, you'll regret it so much you'll wish you were dead."

Benjamin added to Sebastian's words.

Edward said unhappily, "Are you guys out of things to talk about? Why not think about how to get Alexander to bring Victoria back?"

All eyes turned to Alexander. Benjamin took the lead and tentatively asked, "Victoria shouldn't need to be invited back, right?"

Alexander's gaze was deep as he stared at his glass, saying nothing.

But Benjamin understood that, beneath the surface, Alexander was filled with anxiety.

"Of course, he has to invite Victoria back. There's no other way, right?" Sebastian said.

"Will you go?" Edward asked Alexander.

"I've already said, from now on, we won't contact each other."

Alexander gripped his glass and said coldly, downing his drink in one gulp.

Benjamin sighed helplessly and reminded Alexander, "I heard Adrian is back too."

Sebastian and Edward immediately looked at Alexander upon hearing Adrian's name.

But Alexander remained indifferent. He leaned forward to set down his glass and then leaned back on the sofa, saying lightly, "Play a song."

"I don't want to sing." Edward immediately said.

"If no one wants to sing, then get someone in here to sing."

Alexander remained indifferent.

But as soon as he said that, the other three men were stunned.

Soon, William arrived, followed by two long-legged beauties with long hair, and Daisy.

Daisy stood beside them, a bit shorter but charmingly petite.

Seeing their puzzled looks, she smiled and said, "I heard someone in this room wanted someone to sing. I'm pretty good at singing."

The next day's headlines were about the heirs of several major families in Ankenra City partying at a club, with animated images of three women singing and dancing.

Sebastian reported back home, so Emily spared him.

Benjamin, who didn't have the habit of reporting in advance, was shut out by Tessa.

Edward was kicked out of the house at dawn, still in his pajamas.

Edward thought he was done for; he had just managed to appease Olivia a few days ago.

But in truth, he hadn't done anything at all.

That woman wanted to sit on his lap and sing, and he just forgot to push her away for a moment.

He didn't do anything.

He knew he was married.

Alexander was called to the Harrington Mansion.

Brett threw a cup at him, hitting his arm, but Alexander didn't dodge.

Eloise had wanted to scold Alexander too, but seeing that, she immediately patted Brett, feeling sorry for Alexander. If she hadn't called Brett back to scold Alexander, she might have gotten into a fight with Brett.

"Victoria has been gone for less than ten days, and you can't stand the loneliness?"

"They were just singing," Alexander replied.

"Singing? You got a few women to sing for you? Who would believe that? And that woman was sitting on your lap."

"No one sat on my lap."

Alexander had a headache from drinking too much the night before.

Seeing his stubbornness, Brett was furious, "You know whether they sat on your lap or not. If you want to fool around, fine, but get a divorce first. Don't act like a married man while doing scummy things."

"We're practically divorced already."

Alexander murmured, trying to suppress the pounding in his head.

"You bastard."
