Chapter 955 He Thought He Was Truly Crazy

"Perfect match, an older man and a younger woman, how wonderful."

Diana looked at Curtis and said meaningfully.

After Curtis's students had all left, Diana stood at the door with Curtis. She looked up at him and said, "Good night," before she could get too mesmerized.

Curtis didn't say anything after she went back to her room.

But later that night, he sent her a message: [Good night.]

"Damn it! Curtis, that annoying guy."

Diana immediately got up when she saw the message.

Why was he saying goodnight to her in the middle of the night?

What was he doing earlier?

Why was he reacting so slowly now?

Diana didn't know why she was so angry, so disappointed. She wanted to rush over and question him, but then she threw herself back on the bed.

Why should she put up with this?

She wanted to block him.

The next morning, Diana went to Alexander's office. Alexander looked at her dark circles and asked, "If he doesn't like you, why is he bothering you?"

"Victoria said she wanted to divorce you. Why don't you?" Diana retort.

Alexander fell silent at the question and finally said, "We are married. She has me in her heart. So we can't divorce just because Victoria is momentarily angry."

"You didn't send Victoria several divorce agreements, did you?"

Diana mumbled; she had heard it from Eloise.

Alexander threw down the file in his hand, leaned on the edge of the table, and looked at Diana with a domineering air.

There were two people in this world who could anger him the most: Victoria and the other was Diana.

Thinking about it, he couldn't help but laugh and picked up the file to read it seriously again.

"Alexander, I need some funds."

"Got it, I'll transfer it to your account later."

"Alexander, you should also care about Tori from time to time. With such a distance between you, don't let another man steal her away."

Diana left a remark before leaving.

Alexander only looked up when he heard the door close, unconsciously thinking of Victoria.

When Victoria got back, she sent him a message. When he called, Eve answered, saying Victoria was busy.

What was Victoria busy with?

Was she busy cutting ties with him as soon as she got back?

Alexander sighed helplessly but picked up the phone to call her.

It was slow to answer, and the voice on the other end was evasive.

"Are you busy again?" Alexander asked.

"Yes," Victoria replied.

"Busy with what?" He continued.

"Rushing two articles," she answered indifferently.

"Do tell."

He leaned back, letting the chair swivel, his back to the desk.

"You'll see a clarification announcement from a certain celebrity on Twitter later. I wrote it." Victoria added.

Alexander opened Twitter to check, and there was indeed a trending announcement, but it was just a few lines, hardly enough to keep her busy.

"Are you telling me you were busy with these few lines until now?" He probed.

"Yes."

"Victoria, is our family bankrupt?"

"I'm hanging up, I have another article to write."

"What?"

"Goodbye."

Victoria hung up on him.

Alexander laughed in frustration.

But he wasn't sad for long, recalling how Victoria rushed back when he was in trouble, and his heart warmed.

Alexander thought it would be great if they had another child.

Alexander snapped out of it and laughed at himself.

He thought he was crazy. With such a distance between them and her health, he was thinking about having a second child.
