Chapter 485 Say It Again, You Don't Want It?

"That's just a normal thing between couples."

Alexander's voice was deep and alluring.

"No," Victoria still firmly refused.

"Don't you want to have a baby?" He asked.

"What? I don't," Victoria thought. She sensed something from the sperm bank to having a baby.

It was Olivia's topic with her. How did he know?

"No? Olivia said on a post she and her closest friend would resort to a sperm bank if they couldn't find a good man by thirty. Wasn't she talking about you?" Alexander asked.

"What?" Victoria was stunned.

Did Olivia actually post that?

Victoria couldn't control her expression, but she suddenly understood why he was acting this way.

She couldn't help but look at him and whispered, "I didn't agree to accompany her."

"So, don't you want to go to a sperm bank?" Alexander asked.

"Of course not." Victoria glanced at him and immediately answered softly.

She just hoped he would be satisfied with this answer and let her go.

"Then how do you want to have a baby?" Alexander kissed her lips again, shallowly and repeatedly.

Victoria was kissed until she couldn't breathe. "I, I didn't."

She couldn't finish before her breath was cut off again.

Alexander hooked her tongue, and only after tasting sweetness did he continue in a low voice, "Darling, Mr. Sinclair gave me a box of birth control stuff at dinner. How about we try it?"

"Birth control stuff? What's that?" Victoria's mind was a bit fuzzy, but she found that if they chatted, he would kiss her less.

If he kissed her less, she could be more clear-headed.

"It's something that won't make a baby but can make us happy," Alexander explained.

Her mind buzzed again.

"Let's make love," he suddenly suggested.

"No," Victoria refused.

"But you already..." He whispered in her ear.

Victoria's ears burned red, almost bleeding.

Alexander gently sucked on her earlobe, coaxing softly, "It's my first time too, don't be afraid, okay? Let's explore together?"

"No," Victoria refused again.

He must be lying to her.

He's already twenty-eight.

Even before his two years away from marriage, a man like him couldn't have ever been with a woman.

Otherwise, she would really have to suspect, like the elders, that he had a problem with his sexual function.

Alexander thought this soft little thing had such a hard mouth.

Was it so hard to say yes?

"Say it again, you don't want to?" Alexander's voice suddenly became deeper.

"I don't want to," Victoria refused.

"I don't care anymore," Alexander murmured, then sucked on her lips again, quickly biting down.

It hurt.

Victoria tried to push him away, but as her mouth was bitten, she could only tilt her neck back and accept it.

And the man's slender fingers seemed like beautiful notes dancing on her skin.

Victoria was quickly being taken to another world.

Alexander stopped until her phone rang. He glanced at the bedside, and Victoria also looked at the bedside, then at him.

At this moment, the warm light from the bedside lamp fell on his profile, making her heart race uncontrollably with just one look.

She tried to remind herself, 'Calm down, don't be tempted.'

But Alexander suddenly picked up the phone, got off her, and answered, "Hello?"

"Is this Mr. Harrington? This is Ivan. Adrian asked me to deliver something to Victoria, but she doesn't seem to be at Rockland Street?" Ivan said.

"Return it and instruct Adrian to stop giving Victoria presents. Not a reminder, but an order."

Alexander hung up the phone and then turned to see Victoria slowly sitting up, looking at him unhappily.

"What?" Alexander asked her unhappily.

"You answered my phone, made decisions for me, and then asked me what's wrong?" Victoria spoke with a sore mouth and quickly lowered her head in discomfort.

"Can't I make this decision for you?" Alexander asked again.

Victoria saw his firm and domineering look and felt he went too far. She turned around and pulled the strap of her nightgown to her shoulder, ready to leave.

But suddenly, her arm was tightly grabbed.

After screaming, the grasped spot went crimson, and she sank into his muscular chest.

Alexander looked down at her angry face, but before he could see clearly, she started wriggling in his arms again. Alexander felt stifled and had to hold her tightly. "Victoria."

"Let go of me," she shouted, her eyes full of anger.

The result was being held tighter and receiving his threat.

He said in a low voice, "I'll do it if you keep struggling."

Did that mean if she didn't struggle, he would behave? Let her go?

She quickly restrained herself from moving, but because of the suppression, her spirit became more subdued.

"Is this okay? I'll try to hold out until our wedding night." He held her in his arms, coaxing softly.

Victoria's face was hot, and hearing his words, she couldn't help but feel he was being cautious.

She actually felt he was compromising, negotiating, and...

Damn, maybe he was just giving an ultimatum?

The wedding was coming in just over a month.

Alexander didn't know what she was thinking, but he found her changing expressions particularly interesting.

Unintentionally, he saw her neck bathed in the warm light, and he couldn't help but kiss it.

"No." Victoria quickly dodged as if stung.

Alexander still held her, almost laughing.

But in the end, he only ambiguously suggested, "Let's sleep?"

"Just sleep, okay?" Alexander added.

"Separately," Victoria insisted.

"You'll catch a cold," he said alluringly, then dominantly held her down, nursing her head in his arm.

This intimate position so flustered Victoria that she didn't dare to relax.

Alexander's chin rested on her head, whispering, "Good night. If you don't run, we should be like this tonight."

She didn't speak, just quietly pulled her strap back onto her shoulder.

Alexander helped her pull the other one up, too.

All of a sudden, there was silence in the room.

But Alexander held her even closer.

Because it was winter, this closeness was indeed warm.

She'd never felt this kind of warmth in any previous winter.

She convinced herself to close her eyes and sleep.

But the heat behind her and the strong heartbeat seemed to be provoking her.

She couldn't help but turn around.

"What's wrong?" He opened his eyes, looking deeply into hers.

She curled up, still feeling like she could never escape his embrace.

"Don't hug me," she said, moving back.

She wasn't as calm as he was.

Sleeping in the same bed with someone she liked, she couldn't stay calm no matter what.

But later, the man still moved closer while she slept, placing his arm under her neck.

The next morning, it was drizzling at Regal Retreat.

After standing up, Isabella felt disoriented and had blood in her nostrils. Her fingers were bloody when she touched it, so she got up.

Naomi was bringing milk to her room and followed her to the bathroom. Seeing Isabella washing her nose. Naomi mumbled, "Why is your nose bleeding again? Haven't you been controlling the dosage? If you can't see him, stop for a while. Don't really ruin your health."

"How could I not see him? If I want to see him, I definitely will," Isabella said, then turned off the faucet.

More blood flowed from her nose, and she said, "Mom, go get my phone."
