Chapter 551 He Had Absolute Authority in This Room
"I need to find Brett," Victoria snapped, spinning around to leave.
But before she could take a step, a strong hand grabbed her wrist and shoved her against the cabinet.
Alexander sneered, "Running to Grandpa, huh?"
"Yeah," Victoria shot back, defiant.
She was itching for Brett to come and teach him a lesson.
Alexander's eyes gleamed with a hint of malice. "Fine, if you're gonna tattle, I might as well make it worth my while before I get punished."
Victoria's mind went blank, her anger suddenly being doused.
He lifted her wrist to her face.
Victoria instinctively leaned back, but his grip on her waist tightened painfully.
It felt like her waist might snap.
Seeing her in pain, Alexander switched his hold from her wrist to the back of her head.
His familiar thin lips crashed onto hers, launching a fierce assault.
Victoria struggled to breathe, her mind flashing back to him, pinning Isabella down. Unable to push him away, she suddenly grabbed the back of his head and fought back.
The taste of blood filled their mouths, shocking Victoria into stillness.
But Alexander's lips and tongue kept up their relentless invasion.
It was like the blood only fueled their passion.
Suddenly, a knock on the door made Alexander stop.
Mason's voice came through, "Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington, there are a few strawberries left and a gift from Mrs. Harrington's friend. Mrs. Arabella Harrington asked me to bring them over."
Alexander's lips lingered on hers, gently sucking before releasing her.
Victoria, hearing the voice, breathed a slight sigh of relief but didn't dare fully relax.
He had absolute authority in this room.
Alexander gazed at her intently, remained silent, wiped the drool from her lips, then turned to open the door.He took the items and turned back.
Mason, puzzled, noticed Alexander's injured lips.
Realizing what had happened, Mason quickly lowered his head and went downstairs, not daring to stay long.
The door closed again.
Alexander returned to Victoria.
Victoria immediately raised her hand to his face.
Alexander didn't even blink, ready to take her slap.
But the impulse passed, and Victoria stopped, withdrew her hand, and turned to leave.
Alexander spread his arms to block her, saying, "Don't you want the birthday gift Olivia gave you?"
Victoria glanced at the box in his hand and reached for it.
Alexander immediately let go and placed the plate of strawberries on the table.
Victoria opened the gift box; it was a pair of matching watches, along with a card. Olivia's bold handwriting read, "Get ready, for many years to come, until our family goes bankrupt, you'll probably receive the same gift every birthday. Happy birthday."
There was also a card from Edward, "Happy birthday, and please, as a big star, help promote Olivia's work."
Victoria couldn't help but smile.
This couple was really well-matched and perfectly coordinated.
She immediately took out the woman's watch and put it on, not even glancing at the man's watch until she heard a noise beside her. She turned to see Alexander taking off his watch, which was worth millions of dollars.
Alexander said, "I can help, but you have to put it on for me."
Victoria smiled at other people's cards, which made Alexander unhappy.
She didn't even smile at the jewelry and dresses worth millions he gave her.
He would never allow these people to write her cards again.
Victoria looked at Alexander with a distant gaze and smiled. "Mr. Harrington, you're overthinking. I plan to give this watch to Adrian."
Alexander's face immediately darkened. "Say that again."
Wasn't it enough that he had to watch her kiss Adrian in a scene today? Did she have to provoke him like this?
Victoria said casually, "Celebrity effect. Don't overthink it."
"Victoria, I advise you not to push it," Alexander suddenly threatened, extending his arm towards her.
The meaning was clear, but Victoria closed the watch box.
Hearing the box snap shut, Alexander was on the verge of losing his temper, gritting his teeth. "Victoria."
He considered this his last warning: if she gave the matching watch to Adrian, he'd go mad.
"Victoria is long dead. The one standing before you now is Felicity," Victoria said, picking up the watch box to leave.
Alexander immediately pushed her back and pressed his tall body against her. "Say that again."
"Victoria is long dead. The one standing before you—"
Before Victoria could finish, Alexander forcefully kissed her again.
The place where Victoria had bitten him hurt even more, but Alexander only furrowed his brow slightly and kissed her deeper.
Victoria soon felt herself lifted off the ground, her slender waist held by his hands, easily placed on the low cabinet.
He forcefully spread her weak knees, moving closer to kiss her until she was dizzy.
After what felt like an eternity, Alexander finally stopped kissing her, still holding her face, pressing his forehead against hers, and whispered, "Can we make up?"
How could Victoria be dead? She would always be his Victoria, even though he was both angry and annoyed.
Victoria's eyes welled up with tears, but she said stubbornly, "It's impossible."
Alexander held her face, straightening up to look her in the eyes. "That was a misunderstanding."
Victoria looked into his eyes, saying calmly and firmly, "I can explain it more clearly. When you and Isabella were lying in bed discussing hell, you lost the right to talk to me about making up, no matter how expensive the gift, no matter how sincere you are at this moment."
Even seeing his lips bleeding from her bite, she didn't waver.
Alexander sighed. "I said it was a misunderstanding."
"Even if it was a misunderstanding, even if you were framed."
Victoria was so resolute that Alexander's face darkened.
Victoria no longer looked at him, lowering her head and whispering, "Can I leave now?"
A thunderclap sounded outside, followed by a sudden downpour.
Both looked outside, and then Alexander looked at her and gradually laughed. "It seems even God doesn't want you to leave."
Victoria looked at him, barely seeing him before she felt his arm around her neck, and Alexander's kiss came crashing down.
She could no longer distinguish whether his breath smelled of alcohol or blood, only passively responding to him.
When her neck was about to break, she left the cabinet, instinctively wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
Alexander, thrilled by her self-protective gesture, immediately carried her towards the bathroom.
Victoria was kissed hard again at the bathroom door and then taken inside.
She knew what he was going to do, calmly murmuring, "You'll regret this."
She no longer hoped to persuade him.
Alexander laughed. "How many things have I regretted?"
It seemed this wouldn't be one more.
He kissed her again, letting the steam around them grow thicker.
Victoria turned her face away from his lips, and his kisses trailed down her chin.
He wanted her, right now, no matter what.
