Chapter 451 Pushing Forward for Him
Victoria felt a bit awkward and could only sip the ice-cold coke.
Actually, she thought Coke tasted much better than beer, especially when it was cold.
So she couldn't help but take another sip.
With that extra sip, Alexander, watching from the side, felt a bit less jealous.
The others just quietly watched them, sensing the undercurrents at the table.
Jason handed her a napkin and said, "Wipe your mouth."
"Thanks." Victoria was about to take it when Alexander snatched it away. He gently wiped her mouth while holding her chin.
Victoria stared at him, confused, 'What is he doing?'
There were so many people around.
"All done," Alexander said, satisfied after wiping.
Victoria still stared at him and said, "What are you doing?"
"You have a meeting this afternoon. You need to go back and prepare. It's already half past one," Alexander said.
Victoria suddenly felt a bit anxious and awkwardly glanced at her friends from abroad. "Work is important, we'll..."
"Tomorrow she has to accompany me to an important meeting, so she can't join you. I'll arrange for the hotel staff to assist you with all your activities in the city. Please enjoy yourselves." Before Jason could finish, Alexander grabbed Victoria's hand and led her away.
"My bag," Victoria reminded him as she was being pulled out.
Alexander turned back, personally grabbed her bag, and then held her hand as they walked out.
He absolutely hated those men who were trying to win her favor.
Everyone watched them at the door.
As soon as they got outside, Alexander couldn't hold back any longer. Like a jealous boy, he asked her, "Is it that every man but me can make you laugh, put their arm around your shoulder, wipe your sweat, and pour you drinks?"
Victoria's long eyelashes fluttered slightly. She wasn't quite understanding what he meant, but seeing his very red face, Victoria couldn't help but ask, "Are you allergic to chili?"
"What?" Alexander was stunned.
"Your face is so red. It's even red here," Victoria added.
Victoria couldn't see clearly, so she moved a bit closer and instinctively touched his face. His face was so hot the redness had spread to his Adam's apple.
When Victoria touched Adam's apple, even though it was just a light touch, Alexander couldn't hold back any longer. He cupped her face and kissed her fiery lips.
Damn, it seemed like she had more saliva than usual.

Everyone in the restaurant was watching the live show of the couple's affection.
It was about a man being touched by a woman and then immediately kissing her.
Edward and Benjamin glanced inside, then helplessly looked down.
They were fed up. Usually so cold, Alexander was now outside...

Alexander glanced into the distance. Could that car about to be towed be his?
Victoria saw it, too. "Oh no."
Before Alexander could get a clear look, Victoria was already running towards it.
Alexander had no idea what was going on. He stood there, unable to move, just watching her run.
Why was Victoria in such a hurry?
Maybe she ate too many chili peppers.
He suddenly couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing this soft, petite woman running so determinedly, he felt she was adorable.
How could he not like her?
