Chapter 611 When You Get Angry, You Just Hand Me Over to Someone Else?
"If you love me, then let me go," Victoria said.
"What?" Alexander was confused.
"If you can't make her disappear from my world, then go be with her," Victoria stated firmly, looking directly at him with a resolute expression.
Alexander smiled at first, but his expression quickly turned serious.
Her determination troubled him, yet he reached out and took her hand, gently toying with the diamond ring on her finger. With a soft whisper, he responded, "I'll just assume you're throwing a tantrum."
"I've always had a bad temper. I realized that after you came back to the city last year." Victoria said, pulling her hand from his grasp and lowering her head to remove the diamond ring worth millions, maybe even tens of millions of dollars.
"The wedding is over, and we've had sex. You must be satisfied," she said, placing the ring back into Alexander's hand.
Alexander's expression grew colder, his gaze shifting from the ring in his palm to her face, but he remained patient, "You can take off the diamond ring, but only if you put the previous ring back on."
This was no longer a negotiation; it was a reminder or even an order.
Despite his domineering manner, Victoria simply reached out to open the car door and said, "Whoever wants the ring can have it, but I won't wear it again."
She was about to get out of the car, but he suddenly pressed her back inside.
He closed the car door and stared at her sharply, "Say that again."
"I said I don't want it," she repeated firmly.
Alexander's eyes flashed with anger for several seconds, but he eventually laughed and asked, "Does she trouble you that much?"
Victoria replied, "Yes."
"Then make her suffer more than you."
Victoria hadn't reacted yet when he suddenly kissed her on the lips.
She immediately resisted, but he quickly bit her lip. It seemed to be bleeding.
Victoria frowned in pain, cursing inwardly, 'Bastard.'
Isabella's car slowly passed by theirs. She couldn't see anything, but her heart ached.
She thought, 'Did they notice me? And then Victoria threw a tantrum?'
Isabella had just seen Victoria open the car door and then close it again. She was sure it was Victoria's scheme.
"Victoria, I promise you'll die painfully." Isabella slowly drove her car away, and at that moment, she felt a surge of murderous intent.
Victoria pushed Alexander away, raising her hand in anger to hit him.
Alexander caught her wrist and held it in his palm, saying in a deep voice, "When you're angry, you just hand me over to someone else?"
Victoria angrily tried to pull her wrist from his grasp, but he held it tightly, not letting her move.
"Fight for me, and make her back off. That's what you should do," he said seriously.
Victoria looked at him skeptically.
Alexander added, "I believe you can do that."
Victoria frowned. She felt like he was trying to deceive her again.
"After all, you're my favorite girl," Alexander said.
"Who cares about being your favorite girl?" Victoria retorted.
"You do care. Maybe there's already a child of mine in there," Alexander said, glancing down at her flat stomach.
Victoria's face turned pale with shock. Then she blushed, thinking, 'What does he mean by having his child? How can it be that easy?'
After returning to the city, Alexander had to go back to work. She wanted to see Dennis, so Frank drove her there.
Dennis was still staying at the hotel near the film set. Upon seeing Victoria, he asked in confusion, "Is the honeymoon over?"
Victoria said, "We're leaving soon."
She thought, 'Damn honeymoon, I don't even want to mention it.'
"What?" Dennis thought he hadn't woken up yet.
"Our company is in Sintros City. Why stay here after the shoot is over?"
Dennis suddenly realized something and immediately reminded her, "Our company moved here."
"Moved here? Why?" Victoria felt a buzzing in her head.
She had already suspected it had something to do with Alexander.
Dennis replied, "Your husband provided us with an entire floor. I had no reason not to move."
Even though she had anticipated it, hearing this still made her look at Dennis in disappointment. After half a minute, she forced herself to calmly ask, "So now you're working for Alexander?"
"To be precise, we both are."
"What does that have to do with me?" Victoria felt all the blood rushing to her head, about to burst.
"He's the CEO now. I brought you into the company, so he's our boss," said Dennis.
"Dennis!" Victoria was so angry she almost stomped her foot.
"Why are you angry? Now that he's the boss, doesn't that mean the company is yours? Plus, you're the only actress signed to the company. All the resources are for you. You should be happy," Dennis said.
"Happy about what? Who gave you the right to sign with him without my consent? I'm telling you, this has nothing to do with me, even if you get a lawyer. We're terminating our partnership," Victoria said and turned to leave.
She was too disappointed in Dennis.
When they first met, Dennis had promised to make big money with her, just the two of them. But he had totally changed his tune.
She left the hotel, stood at the entrance, and looked at the black luxury car still parked there. She turned and walked away.
Feeling a strong sense of disappointment, she didn't want to get in the car. Indeed, no man was reliable.
Frank silently drove behind her. Sensing her low spirits, he chose not to disturb her.
Victoria felt more and more aggrieved, thinking, 'What did Alexander say?Fight for him? And I might already have his child? What a joke! All the difficulties in my life are caused by him. He's going too far!'
When her phone rang, she irritably took it out, feeling like she wanted to smash it.
But seeing the ID Grandma, Victoria had to calm her fury and answered the call softly, "Grandma."
"Victoria, I heard you and Alexander are back from the island. Come to the Harrington Mansion tonight; I have something to tell you. Oh, and I had them prepare a big meal for you."
"Okay, Grandma," Victoria instinctively agreed.
She didn't know what Eloise wanted, but Victoria really didn't want to go. However, she couldn't refuse her.
A cold wind blew, and she felt a pain in her leg, so she squatted down.
Victoria was angry. But looking at the large diamond ring Alexander had put back on her finger, she knew there was no escape.
Forget it. No more running.
Maybe fate wanted her to stay in Ankenra City.
Victoria looked up at the sky and couldn't help but snort.
She thought, 'Everything had already happened. What's the point of running?'
However, she didn't expect to run into Alexander when she returned that evening.
Victoria was still wearing the blue dress that reached her calves and the white coat, standing by the car as he came out.
Alexander saw her and immediately walked over, naturally taking her hand and asking, "Honey, why are you unhappy again?"
Victoria suddenly thought of something. If he helped, she wouldn't have to work so hard, so she immediately put on a flattering smile, "No, not at all."
