Chapter 460 He Came to Save Her
A loud sound erupted.
Someone kicked open the locked door after the staff couldn't find the key.
Although that door was worth tens of thousands of dollars, it was now useless.
All the executives at the dining table stood up. Suppressing the shock in his heart, Dorian glanced sideways outside.
He suspected Alexander, but he still had hope.
"What's going on here? Mr. Montgomery, you know this is Mrs. Harrington, our noble guest."
The restaurant owner was still pretending to be a peacemaker.
"We're just having a drink with Mrs. Harrington to build our relationship, can't you see?" Dorian said.
Dorian quietly sighed in relief when he heard the newcomer's voice. He slowly put down his wine glass, ignoring the wine in his hand, and leaned on the table in front of Victoria to ask him.
It was challenging to provoke anyone who could open a restaurant in the best location in the city's south.
From his position, the hotel owner could tell that Victoria had been forced to drink, as her lipstick was smeared and her face was damp.
The hotel owner knew they liked to mess with young starlets, but daring to provoke the Harrington Group was truly surprising.
"You've gone too far today." Dorian glanced at the ruined door that had been kicked open.
How dare someone kick open the room he was using?
In Ankenra City, only a few dared to provoke him.
And the owner even brought a few strong men, clearly thugs.
He wasn't afraid of thugs because he had Thaddeus.
Thaddeus was a national Taekwondo champion.
"Mr. Montgomery, I haven't yet to go too far. You're out of luck."
The owner was still unhurried but definitely needed to be humble.
"Who are you saying is out of luck?" Dorian sneered.
"Of course, it's you, Dorian."
The moment a cold, powerful voice with a strong presence entered the room, the atmosphere immediately became tense.
They all had experienced Alexander's ruthless decisiveness in the business world.
This was supposed to be a quiet lesson for Victoria, but it had turned into this.
As everyone secretly glanced at the girl's ashamed face, their hearts were sinking.
When Alexander and Shoure arrived, Shoure frowned upon entering.
Dorian's posture of holding Victoria in her seat was enough to spell big trouble for him.
Alexander was growing dissatisfied with the Montgomery family, and now he seemed unable to hide it.
Alexander strode in imposingly .
At that moment, the room was filled with murderous tension.
Seeing Dorian's hand pressing on Victoria's slender shoulder, he didn't even need to see Victoria's face to know she had been humiliated.
He casually grabbed a precious vase from the cabinet beside him and quickly stepped forward.
Victoria kept her head down, not wanting anyone to see her embarrassment. She was already dragged into a firm hug until her hand was grabbed and raised before her tears could fall.
She knew it was Alexander.
His body temperature, his strength, his minty scent, and his shoulders were all familiar to her.
Only he would consider how to hold her wrist without hurting her skin.
But her tears still didn't fall.
These people weren't worthy of her tears.
Then there was another loud sound.
She reflexively buried herself into his arms but remained silent.
The precious vase shattered over Dorian's head.
Dorian couldn't say anything immediately. He just raised his hand to point at him.
He wanted to curse Alexander for not following the rules but fainted.
Alexander stared at his wine-stained hand, not Dorian's misery. His eyes fell on Victoria, who was holding back tears on her lipstick-smeared cheeks. Alexander instantly kicked Dorian's chair, which rebounded off her.
Dorian lay motionless on the ground.
The chair hitting the ground with a loud noise scared the older men standing nearby.
"Mr. Harrington, we were just having a drink with Mrs. Harrington. We have no ill intentions."
"Is that so?" Alexander squinted, smilingly with intense malice.
"Why don't we leave now and apologize to Mrs. Harrington another day?"
The men immediately echoed, wanting to leave.
Victoria snapped back to reality when she heard the voice. She looked at Alexander and quickly reminded him, "He took pictures."
Alexander glanced down at her, his heart aching even more. He looked at the man. "Unlock your phone."
"I didn't take pictures but watch videos," the man retorted.
"Everyone, unlock your phones," Alexander ignored his excuse and scanned the room, commanding.
The men, all older than Alexander, were now trembling.
The restaurant owner stood aside, watching the show.
He had reminded them, but they ignored.
Now, they had to face the consequences of their actions, and so quickly.
"Gentlemen, it's best to cooperate." Seeing their hesitation, Shoure couldn't stand it anymore.
It could tell morepeople took pictures. They probably did more than just taking photos.
If it got online, it would affect the Harrington Group and Victoria's reputation.
At this moment, for Alexander, Victoria's reputation would outweigh the Harrington Group's in Alexander's heart.
Shoure approached the man Victoria had pointed out, took the phone, opened the photo album, and laughed. "Mr. Bell, why take such things? They're not worth much. Are you trying to ruin Mrs. Harrington or the Harrington Group with this video?"
"Shoure, don't talk nonsense. We're not like that; it was an accident."
The pot-bellied Mr. Bell was clearly terrified.
Was he trying to ruin Mrs. Harrington or the Harrington Group?
Now, with Victoria in Alexander's arms and the Harrington Group in Alexander's hands, he couldn't afford to offend either.
Seeing the unconscious man on the ground, he regretted participating in this wretched act even more.
Shoure handed the phone to Alexander. Alexander glanced at it, and Victoria couldn't help but look down.
She knew he had taken pictures.
Mr. Bell lied, saying he was watching videos.
Why would he watch videos with the camera pointed at her face?
These older men were full of lies, truly disgusting.
She lightly slapped the phone out of his hand, whispering, "Don't touch it. It's filthy."
Seeing her delicate yet stubborn demeanor, Alexander felt a feeling stirred up in his heart and whispered, "Alright."
Victoria finally looked up at him, and the moment their eyes met, her heart raced.
He had indeed saved her.
She thought she was going to be horribly bullied.
Just like last time when she was tied to a bed, stripped, and knocked unconscious.
The thought still terrified her.
Isaac didn't like women, but what about these old bastards?
Thinking of this, she burrowed deeper into his arms, even clutching the fabric of his shirt with her small hands.
Feeling needed, Alexander silently savored it. Then he glanced at Shoure. "Take all their phones away. Leave the rest to you and Mr. Montague."
Shoure agreed.
Restaurant owner Ralph Montague assured, "Mr. Harrington, please take her to rest assured. We'll handle it here."
"Thank you," Alexander said.
Mr. Harrington wasn't unkind to everyone.
If others respected him, he would appreciate them even more so.
"I'll take you away from here." Alexander looked down at Victoria.
"Okay," Victoria agreed, but the next second, she was lifted off the ground.
