Chapter 99 Forbidden to Mention Divorce Again

Victoria suddenly found herself unable to move, despite being filled with anger.
She couldn't understand why he could so brazenly humiliate her.
Did she owe him something?
She was certain she didn't in this lifetime. It must have been in a past life then.
If not, then why did he have to humiliate her time and time again?
She wanted nothing more than to give him a good beating.
But she could do nothing but shed tears. Everything was a facade. The once seemingly honorable and modest young man turned out to be nothing but a scoundrel who used power and deceit to harm others.
At this moment, Victoria wished she had never met him.
"I want a div..." Before she could even finish the word ‘divorce’ her lips were once again sealed shut.
Alexander sucked on her lip forcefully, causing her so much pain that she dared not even breathe.
Only when he eased his grip did he continue to suck gently for a few seconds, then stopped. "You are forbidden to mention divorce again, or else I will truly stop caring about anything." He whispered.
Stop caring about anything? What did he care about now? Fathering a child with another woman while pinning her down on the bed.
Victoria refused to pay him any more attention and stubbornly turned to look out the window.
His phone rang at just the right moment, but he didn't immediately answer it.
Since her wrists were in his hands, she felt so utterly powerless and week.
Her cheeks were flushed, and her lips were almost swollen from his sucking.
Alexander's seductive Adam's apple involuntarily moved, then he slowly rose from her body.
After glancing at his phone, he answered the call, "I'll be down in a moment."
After a brief response, he hung up and sat silently on the edge of the bed, watching her quickly put on her clothes.
"I have to go downstairs for a bit; we can talk more later." He sternly said before he got up.
Just as Victoria had picked up her bottoms, she saw him walk towards the door.
She couldn't hold back anymore and shouted, "Alexander, you can't expect to be with Isabella and humiliate me at the same time. I won't let you get away with it."
Alexander paused at the door.
He was unsure why, but he felt like her outburst was both somewhat childish and cute.
He turned back. Despite the distance between them, they locked eyes.
Victoria, startled, immediately got up from the bed and stood up, "Don't come back."
Her stuttering appearance left him helpless.
Was she really that afraid of him?
But he...
Alexander ultimately didn't return.
After he left, Victoria breathed a sigh of relief, then sat back on the bed, feeling weak in the knees.
As tears threatened to fall from her red eyes, she suddenly came back to reality.
Why was she crying?
Was there any use in crying after being bullied? Yes, she wouldn't cry anymore. She would resist.
She would divorce him.
She must divorce him.
Victoria had breakfast alone. The nanny, seeing only her, asked, "Mrs. Harrington, did Mr. Alexander go downstairs again?"
"He should have, work matters," Victoria replied, surprising herself with the last two words.
"Oh, Mrs. Harrington, you can't indulge Alexander like this. Men are stupid. You see, if you pamper them too much, they'll become more unrestrained. They say men are like kites in the sky; you have to hold them loosely and tightly, with moderation. Like now, you have to firmly hold Alexander in your hands," the nanny spoke with insight.
"Right," Victoria smiled in agreement. The nanny meant well, and she was touched. But she no longer needed Alexander.
