Chapter 996 Teasing the Wife
It was Alexander.
Victoria's panicked eyes gradually calmed down.
His hand gripped her shoulder, just her shoulder. "Tori, it's me."
Hearing this, Victoria felt the sweat on her nose quietly recede.
She had just thought she was still in that place, that those people had come for her again, that it was time for her to be tortured again.
"Don't be afraid."
Alexander saw that her eyes were wet again, but her mood was not as panicked as before, so he slowly embraced her.
Victoria leaned against his shoulder, shedding two tears before she had no other reaction.
It was a dream.
She thought to herself.
If she really had a husband, if she really had such a family, how could she have ended up like this?
Unless he didn't love her.
Who would love a blind person?
So, even if Alexander was her husband, they weren't in a loving relationship. Alexander must have wanted to abandon her, but, perhaps out of pity or some other reason, brought her back home.
Why did she have no memory at all?
Her background, her family, even her name.
Why couldn't she remember anything?
Her mind was empty, filled with nothing but darkness.
"Just finished socializing downstairs, had a bit to drink."
His murmuring quickly sounded in her ear.
Victoria then realized that he was also in this hotel.
Right, they said this was his hotel.
Indeed, a wealthy man.
But what kind of person was he?
She smelled the alcohol. For a long time, she often smelled alcohol. Those who humiliated her often had a strong smell of alcohol. He was at least more pleasant.
"I'm going to freshen up. Do you want to sleep some more?"
Alexander asked.
Victoria thought for a moment and shook her head.
Seeing her shake her head, Alexander felt relieved. She could respond to him, and it was such a normal response.
"Wait a bit, they'll bring you some good food soon. I'll go freshen up first; I can't stand this smell myself."
Alexander said, then cupped the back of her head and kissed her forehead before flying off like the wind.
Victoria sat there blankly, listening to his footsteps, feeling that his steps were large and quick.
But not the kind that were fierce and murderous.
He, except for being a bit bad at times, seemed to be very gentle on a daily basis.
Was it true?
She had no way to verify.
She could only tell herself to be careful, to try to live a different life, like a normal person.
Alexander finished freshening up, came out, took a clean set of clothes from the closet, threw them on the bed, looked at her, and deliberately said, "I just finished showering, changing clothes in front of you, you shouldn't mind."
Could she mind?
Victoria blushed with embarrassment.
Then she heard him say, "Anyway, you can't see, and I often don't wear anything in front of you."
Victoria blushed even more.
She didn't know that.
And although they slept in the same bed every night, they both wore pajamas.
Alexander glanced at her, confirmed she was shy, deliberately pounced in front of her, held her hand, kissed it, and then said, "Feel it, I've been secretly working out in the office these days. You used to like my muscles."
Victoria wanted to pull her hand away, but it was pressed against his somewhat cool chest.
She thought he must have put on clothes; she felt a thin layer of muscle against her wrist.
She wanted to move away, but he pressed harder and asked her, "How do my abs feel? Do you like them now?"
Victoria panicked, suddenly remembering Eve's words, quickly groped around the bed, found something heavy, and threw it to the ground.
The sound was loud.
Alexander turned to look at the phone she had thrown to the ground, then turned back to look at her, puzzled as to when she had developed a habit of throwing things.
Then he heard a somewhat embarrassed voice from the door.
"Mrs. Harrington, I can't interfere with this."
It was Eve.
Alexander immediately understood that her throwing things was a cry for help, smiled helplessly, and said, "I'm Mr. Harrington, I'm inside, you're safe."
Victoria thought that he used to kiss people randomly, and now he was teasing her.
Eve clearly said she would protect her, so why didn't she come in?
"Tori, can you help me button up?"
Alexander sat up, propped his hand outside her leg, leaned sideways, held her hand, and placed it on his chest, letting her feel the buttons.
Alexander thought she had to learn something.
Buttoning up for him was good.
He found himself easily satisfied now, watching her every day, teasing her, felt like a great blessing.
Especially when she blushed but couldn't outdo him, he would think of it and smile foolishly while working.
"If you don't button up, that's fine, but I'll kiss you."
Victoria immediately used her other hand to feel his chest.
Alexander watched silently, holding back his laughter.
Victoria was very serious, enduring her blushing and shyness to button him up.
Just afraid of getting it wrong.
"Wrong, feel it properly, you can start from the top button."
Alexander looked down, 'seriously' reminding her.
Victoria blushed, biting her lip in embarrassment.
Didn't he know his skin was very hot?
And it was so intimate for a woman to do this for a man.
"Wrong again."
Alexander continued to remind her unhurriedly.
Then successfully saw her face turn even redder.
Hmm, her blushing had a bit of anger in it now, but it was still very cute.
"Still wrong."
Alexander thought he could play this game all day.
Victoria heard him say it was wrong, then felt his buttons again; she had counted seriously.
How could it be wrong again?
She started to get a bit anxious, her hands trembling a bit.
"Your hands are too unfamiliar, but practice makes perfect."
Alexander stared straight at her.
He wanted to teach her to be perfect quickly.
But he had to restrain himself.
Because he didn't want to be a pervert.
He wanted to be a perfect person in her heart.
He always had high standards for himself.
"You've made my chest red, honey."
Alexander said.
Victoria felt a bit angry and embarrassed.
She thought he was definitely teasing her, she couldn't see, why was he making it so difficult for her?
She let go of her hand, not wanting to do it anymore.
"Giving up so easily? You've buttoned two correctly, so I'll reward you with a two-minute kiss."
What? A reward? She didn't want it.
She leaned back, but her head was still held, then she felt the familiar warmth on her lips, and then his tongue, with a minty coolness, skillfully.
