Chapter 383 Making Her Unable to Ignore and a Little Obsessed
"“Do you understand clearly? The wedding is coming up soon. We can't have any more problems. If you do anything to upset Victoria, I won't let you in,"" Eloise warned, holding Victoria's hand.
Victoria glanced at Eloise, then lowered her eyes. She knew that Eloise and the entire Harrington family wanted them to be together.
She knew their good intention. but how could the two of them still be together?
She thought about how Alexander called her his bed companion, but she wasn't willing.
He used to sneak into her room in the middle of the night.
But this time she deleted his messages, he couldn't sneak in at night anymore.
""I was locked out this morning. Grandma Harrington, can you talk to Victoria for me? She always ignores me,"" Alexander said, acting like an immature boy.
Victoria couldn't help but look at him, thinking, ‘how can he tattle?’
""Victoria, are you ignoring him?"" Eloise asked.
""Well, he hugged Isabella, Grandma, can I ignore him?"" Victoria replied.
""Of course not, you should teach him a lesson,"" Eloise added.
In fact, she had heard about Alexander coming to the office building in his pajamas.
When Victoria heard Eloise's words, she immediately looked at Alexander again.
Alexander almost laughed, feeling that this woman was a bit provocative and jealous.
After lunch, the two accompanied Eloise downstairs. Victoria's phone rang, so she went to answer it. Alexander, accompanied by Eloise, walked slowly ahead. Eloise reprimanded him, ""You're not paying attention to your appearance, coming to the office building in pajamas and slippers.
""That's because I was locked out by Victoria."" Alexander felt it wasn't his fault.
""You're just making excuses. I know you deliberately dressed like that to show off, afraid that others wouldn't know you were kicked out by your wife,"" Eloise resorted.
""I need someone to give me the opportunity to show off, right?"" Alexander said.
After being locked out by Victoria today, Alexander's mood had been good all along.
Everyone would soon know about it.
Such a good opportunity shouldn't be wasted.
After ending the call, Victoria caught up with Eloise. Eloise changed the subject, saying, ""Sweetheart, return to the Harrington Mansion tonight, and I'll have the kitchen staff prepare something delicious for you.
""Great, I was craving Uncle Adam's grilled steak,"" Victoria happily agreed.
""So you like grilled steak,"" Alexander said.
Victoria glanced at him, not wanting to engage.
""Alright, knowing that you ordered, he must have been happy,"" Eloise said.
The driver and attendants were waiting downstairs. They placed Eloise in the car, exchanged greetings, and then drove off with her. The autumn breeze felt chilly. After Alexander and Victoria watched the car from The Harrington Mansion leave, Alexander turned to Victoria and said, ""Let's go back together tonight.”
""You have a banquet tonight,"" Victoria said.
""What?"" Alexander was puzzled.
""Mr. Raymond and the others invited you a few days ago,"" Victoria replied.
""Have I agreed?"" Alexander frowned.
""Yes,"" Victoria replied and turned to walk inside.
Alexander looked at her stubborn figure, feeling puzzled.
He just wanted to go home for dinner with his wife.
""Don’t you agree to have dinner with Eloise because you know I had a banquet tonight, do you?"" Alexander asked.
""Yes."" Victoria walked quickly.
But soon, in the elevator, Alexander pinned her to a corner. ""Can you be even more wicked, Victoria?""
Victoria was a bit proud that she had finally outsmarted him, but he immediately suppressed her again, making her feel weak and only focusing on catching her breath.
He must have freshened up in the lounge, with only a cool aura on him, making her unable to ignore and a little obsessed."
