Chapter 649 Will Definitely Suffer Greater Disasters

"Madam, Isabella is still standing outside, but she looks like she can't hold on much longer." Alfred came in from outside as it was getting dark and told them.

"She's really tough on herself. If she wants to stand, let her keep standing." Eloise didn't even bother to look outside.

In all her years, she had never seen such a shameless woman.

Some women had complicated private lives, but they didn't latch onto people without any regard for boundaries.

She believed Isabella's upbringing was flawed and that Isabella needed a tough lesson.

"Yes." Alfred replied immediately; he had long heard that there was a shameless woman trying to seduce Alexander while having affairs with other men.

And Alexander hadn't said a word in her defense.

Actually, Alfred always thought Victoria was a gentle girl.

But at this moment, he suddenly felt he might have misjudged her.

To become a daughter-in-law in a wealthy family and be so highly regarded by her in-laws, she must possess some significant qualities.

In fact, Alfred just didn't know what Victoria had been through.

Victoria felt that everything was unforgivable.

If she showed even the slightest bit of weakness today, she would deserve whatever happened to her.

Alexander was working in his study upstairs. When his phone rang again, he glanced at it coldly, then pressed the volume button on the side with his fingers, and the sound stopped abruptly. He continued working.

Isabella didn't know why he wasn't answering the phone.

By late night, she couldn't stand any longer. Soaked and shivering, she had almost collapsed countless times before finally returning to her car.

Eloise was indeed tricking her.

After closing the car door, she couldn't help but laugh mockingly, her hatred deepening.

She thought, 'How dared Eloise make me stand in the rain?'

'If Eloise weren't coming out forever, I was supposed to stand there forever?'

During the day, Isabella had been confident she could stand until she moved Eloise, but by nightfall, she only felt that Eloise was cruel to torment her like this.

She thought, 'I don't need to show Eloise any determination or sincerity; I just need to surpass everyone!'

Isabella drove away and stopped in front of the Montgomery Mansion, then froze.

Her suitcase lay abandoned at the doorstep, with some of her belongings strewn about and a few items scattered on the ground.

She peered inside, where the woman who had been there had now stepped out—it was Faye.

Dressed in a bathrobe, Faye looked every bit the homeowner as she stood in the doorway and said, "Your father has agreed to let us stay here, so you're being kicked out."

"What?"

Isabella felt like her fighting spirit had taken a nosedive tonight.

She wondered if she was coming down with something, maybe a fever?

Weak and disoriented, she looked at Faye's smiling face and felt a wave of nausea. "You're not moving into my house. My parents haven't divorced, so this place isn't yours to take."

"I've lived here before, haven't I? You don't look so good. How about we just stay here together tonight?"

"Faye, don't push your luck," Isabella snapped back immediately.

"How rude of you! If you're polite, maybe I'll even help you land Alexander."

"You'll regret this," Isabella retorted, then staggered back to her car. Feeling dizzy, she managed to dial a number on her phone.

Local police officers came to handle the situation, and Faye, unwilling to escalate matters, left quietly.

After Faye had gone, Isabella stood at the door and suddenly toppled backward.

"Ms. Montgomery? Ms. Montgomery?"

"She's passed out."

"What should we do? Call an ambulance?"

"Are you worried about her messing up our kids' marriage? Let's wait a bit. After all, she's out cold."

The two housekeepers murmured quietly beside her.

When Isabella woke up, Naomi was by her bedside.

Seeing Isabella stir, Naomi rushed to her side. "What on earth happened last night? You're freezing cold all over."

Isabella gazed at Naomi, feeling like she was in a dream.

"I stayed up all night taking care of you, trying to bring down your fever. Are you feeling any better now?" Naomi asked, her worry evident.

"Mom, they all deserve to die."

"Isabella, who did this to you?"

"It was Eloise from the Harrington family. She made me stand in the rain all day long."

"What? Eloise from the Harrington family? How did you even get mixed up with her? Don't underestimate that woman; I've heard she had quite the knack for dealing with people back in the day," Naomi warned her, concern lining her voice.

"Mom, I'm not scared of her. What can that old hag do to me? I was too careless yesterday, but I'll make her pay tenfold, a hundredfold."

"Isabella, do you still want to marry Alexander?" Naomi asked, genuinely worried by Isabella's stubbornness.

"I'll be careful from now on, Mom. Just wait and see—I'll make sure we live the good life. I promise."

"Isabella…"

Naomi felt a wave of emotion wash over her.

"Mom, you're the only one who truly cares about me."

Suddenly, Isabella buried herself in Naomi's arms, tears streaming down her face, mixed with shame, anger, and a lurking nastiness in her gaze.

"Sweetheart, you're my flesh and blood. No matter what happens, I'll never give up on you."

Naomi's heart softened more than ever. She was regretting the slap she had given Isabella the other night. She couldn't shake the feeling that if she hadn't hit Isabella then, their relationship wouldn't be in shambles now.

"We need to find a way to get rid of Victoria's baby, okay?" Naomi proposed, her protective instincts flaring up.

"Get rid of her baby? Of course, we've got to do that, but Mom, it's not just about getting rid of what's in her belly," Isabella said, pulling away from Naomi's embrace. After a night of rest and care, she felt much better. Her eyes gleamed with a venomous determination as she leaned in close to Naomi and whispered, "I want her to feel the loss of a child, and then I want to torture her bit by bit. Eloise from the Harrington family deserves the same fate."

"Isabella, if we mess this up and get caught, we could end up in prison."

"Which is why we need a solid plan. I've already found someone to help with the dirty work, but it'll cost 700 thousand dollars," Isabella spoke in a hushed tone, as if afraid of being overheard.

This was their mother-daughter secret, and when Naomi heard the amount, she couldn't help but question, "Does it really have to be that much?"

"Mom, before you got back last night, that conniving Faye had already invaded our home. I had to call the cops to kick her out! 700 thousand is nothing compared to what we're facing. If we hesitate any longer, we'll surely face an even bigger disaster."

Isabella gripped Naomi's hand tighter, her voice dropping lower and lower, sending a wave of urgency through Naomi.

"Alright then, let's do it."
