Chapter 900 Begging Her to Interrogate Him
"Whose shirt is it?"
"None of your business."
Alexander felt Victoria's tears and stopped, but he didn't expect Victoria to be so stubborn.
As her tears fell endlessly from the corners of her eyes, her heart had already turned to stone.
He buried his face in her neck, whispering painfully, "Vicky, you have a knack for torturing me."
Following his words, she quickly brought her tears to a halt.
If she had a knack for torturing him, how could she be pinned down on the bed by him, unable to move?
Alexander got off her, lay beside her, and pulled her into his arms. "I missed you."
Victoria thought, 'Did he miss me or just want to vent his frustrations?'
Alexander held her tightly. "What do you want to hear me say? I came to you at this time on purpose."
Victoria couldn't find the words to respond.
What could she hear if she wanted to?
She had no choice in the matter.
For instance, he held her without asking for her consent.
Although they hadn't made love, they were both disheveled.
Victoria thought about how she had bought this shirt because of him, and her eyes reddened again.
She felt so foolish. She had made up her mind to end things with him completely, yet she secretly bought things like this.
This was the first time she wore this shirt. She suddenly thought, 'He doesn't need this shirt, and since we were already like this if I gave it to him, he might overthink it. So I decided to wear it as a nightshirt, finding it quite comfortable. Who knew he would come?'
"Whose shirt is this?"
After a moment of silence, Alexander grabbed her shoulders and looked down at her, pressing for an answer.
"None of your business."
"Nothing is my business?"
"That's right, nothing is your business."
"Then I'll continue making love. I'm having a hard time holding back."
Victoria's eyes reddened with anger again.
"I struggled with my thoughts all the way here, wanting to give you an answer that would satisfy both of us. But now I suddenly feel like I'm just asking for trouble."
Alexander cupped her face, pressing his forehead against hers.
After he finished speaking, he lightly kissed her lips, which had a bit of blood on them, and he sucked it all away.
"Did you buy the shirt yourself?" He questioned again.
He guessed he was right, and the thought of her buying the shirt herself made him excited.
'If she bought the shirt, it could only be for me.'
'Victoria has me in her heart, so she bought me a birthday gift.'
He thought, thrilled, and wanted to kiss her again.
"No, it was left at my place by someone else."
"Who?" Alexander asked.
Victoria turned her head away, not answering. Alexander took out his phone from his pocket. "Look, is it this one?"
Victoria thought he was overreacting and didn't want to pay attention to him. But when he opened the photo album, she couldn't help but glance at it.
Then she lay in his arms, seriously looking at the photos on his phone.
Victoria couldn't believe it and asked him, "What do you mean by this?"
"Someone sent them to me," Alexander explained.
Victoria couldn't tell if they were real or fake and stared at him.
For a moment, she even thought he had fabricated these photos to get Strawberry back from her.
But then she thought, maybe it was true, as he said, that someone sent them to him.
"I received these photos as soon as I got to the airport. When I came to your place, you wouldn't open the door. I finally got in, and you were wearing this man's shirt. Can you imagine how crazy that made me?"
He murmured.
Victoria instinctively forgave his earlier violence, but then she thought and said, "We're already like this, so what if I had a drink with another man?"
"What do you mean? We're just living apart, but you're still mine."
Alexander's voice was filled with grievance and petulance.
"You said we wouldn't contact each other anymore. You said you'd give me my freedom. Did you forget?"
"If I keep my word, how could Strawberry have stayed with you for so long?"
So, he came to take Strawberry back?
Victoria's heart tightened, and she suddenly didn't know what to do.
"Are you taking Strawberry back?"
She quired, suddenly lacking confidence.
"The only one I want to take home from here it's not Strawberry."
Alexander's deep voice was full of tenderness and longing.
Victoria was clear about what he was going to say next and lowered her head. "No, I don't want that."
He could take Strawberry home, but she would only wait here for Strawberry.
"Vicky, let me tell you, I can only let you stay here temporarily."
He cupped her face, his words firm.
Victoria looked at him. "If you can't keep your word, then there's no trust between us. From now on, no one will be held accountable for what they say."
Then everything between them would be a guessing game.
"So, are you planning to start lying to me?"
"Why not?"
"I've tolerated the past, but if you dare lie to me again, believe me, you won't like the consequences."
Alexander held her skin and sucked on her neck.
Victoria pushed against his shoulder, and Alexander immediately let go of her neck, looking at her intently. "Whose shirt is it?"
"It's not uncommon for women to wear men's shirts. What's so strange about that?"
"How do you explain the photos?"
"Why should I explain to you? Even if I didn't buy this shirt myself, did I question you about singing and dancing with other women?"
"You can question now."
Alexander almost laughed at Victoria's words.
Victoria saw how eager he was and felt her face flush with heat. She couldn't understand why he always acted contrary to her expectations.
"Question who I did sing and dance with."
Alexander couldn't help but kiss her again. He wished she would ask.
If she asked, it meant she was jealous and cared.
He wanted her to ask him more questions.
So much had happened in Ankenra City, but she hadn't asked him a word. He felt abandoned and alone, like a lost puppy.
"Vicky, which one do you want to ask about first?"
"I don't have anything to ask."
"How could you not? I can tell you want to ask something. Go ahead, or I'll take action."
"Alexander, why are you like this?"
Victoria pushed against Alexander's shoulder, feeling helpless at his childish behavior.
Why had he suddenly become like this?
Like a childish boy, insisting on ridiculous matters.
She recalled the day he came to her ward, saying they should never contact each other again and that he would let her go.
But now he was on her bed, hovering over her.
"What do you mean? I'm just waiting for my wife to question me about whether I messed around with other women while she wasn't home. Honey, question me."
Alexander kissed Victoria repeatedly, his voice growing more and more suggestive.
